Abstract

The government regulations regarding the implementation of vaccinations to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. The regulation was issued by the Minister of Health Number ten of 2021. This program raises pros and cons so that it requires feedback for evaluation. Feedback can be obtained from opinions and stories that users convey through social media such as Twitter. This study aims to develop a model to determine public sentiment towards Covid-19 vaccination in three topics, namely the vaccination program, the effect of vaccination and the Covid-19 vaccine. The classification method used in this research is Bernoulli Naïve Bayes and Logistic Regression. The results of the comparison of the two methods show that Bernoulli Naïve Bayes gets better accuracy results. The number of tweet messages processed from Twitter is 5877. The model was tested to read public sentiment on Twitter from 7 September to 21 September 2021. The model concluded that public opinion regarding the vaccination program and the effect of vaccination tended to be positive. And opinions regarding the Covid-19 vaccine topic tend to be neutral. For further research, it can be developed by adding datasets.

Abstract

Darussalam Gontor University is a newly established campus with fairly rapid infrastructure development. The design of the prototype building using a brochure owned by UNIDA Gontor Putri is considered unable to visually represent the buildings that have been or will be built properly. This study aims to implement Augmented Reality Book (AR-Book) technology as an introduction media and a tool for the layout of campus buildings, as well as a medium for documentation or archives that can be stored in the long term. Building data is obtained from observations by collecting data by observing directly at the location and visualizing in the form of photos or videos taken using cameras and drones. This media is based on android mobile using marker based augmented reality technology to visualize the 3-dimensional shape of the created building object. Media is built following the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Testing is carried out through functional testing of the application using the blackbox method to test the overall function of the features in the application so that it can run well, testing the level of suitability of the application with android devices. The blackbox test results show that all features are functioning properly and there are no errors. Subsequent research this media can be developed into the form of a campus tour by utilizing virtual reality technology.

Abstract

The collection of books in a library is a means of information that has become the main actor as a supporter of the existence of a library. UNIDA Gontor library uses the 23rd edition of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC 23) classification system, as a reference for the classification numbering system for each book collection. However, in the classification numbering there is no automatic system that helps librarians in assigning classification numbering to each collection. So it is necessary to select a suitable model system to be applied to the automatic classification system. The data used in this study is in the form of blurb data on each collection of Indonesian public books in the UNIDA Gontor Library. In this study, four methods of text mining algorithms were applied to be tested and compared. The algorithm used in testing this research is Multinomial Nb, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Support Vector Classifier. From the test results, the highest accuracy results are the Support Vector Classifier algorithm of 72%, while the Logistic Regression algorithm is 69%, Random Forest 69%, and Multinomial Nb 59%. Further research is recommended to apply the support vector classifier algorithm into the UNIDA Gontor library information system.

Abstract

Prayer learning activities at PAS Baitul Qur'an Ponorogo Kindergarten have so far been carried out with face-to-face practice between teachers and students. However, the teachers teach the proper way of praying during the pandemic. This study aims to introduce Augmented Reality (AR) technology to teachers and children as a medium for learning to pray. From this research resulted in the application "Let's Learn Prayer" which contains guidance on how to pray and pray in the form of three-dimensional animation. In addition, this application is equipped with a card (marker) that represents each prayer movement. The animation of the prayer can move when the user does the marking. As a result, animations can appear on the smartphone screen. This application development stage uses Waterfall model steps and marker-based tracking. The use of AR applications for prayer learning can increase students' interest and understanding in implementing prayer movements

Abstract

University of Darussalam Gontor already have media brochures, video profil and social media as publicity and advertising tools. But now in the area of technology 4.0, the media are rated not enough, where people need a media where they can interact directly in it. The research is aimed to build a media interaction of the campus interactive based model of three dimensions by using the technology of virtual reality. Virtual Reality is considered able to deliver information in a more effective due to its ability to reach the sense of human beings, good eyesight, hearing, and touch trough interaction in real time. Data retrieved trough the stages of observation of the building as directly as well as through taking sample of photos and videos. An android based mobile application by implementing the first-person shooter (FPS) method to its user and designed to follow the ADDIE development model. In the future, it is hoped that the VR campus tour application can be used in multiplayer to get a fun group campus tour experience.

Abstract

The Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School graduates established a tutoring institution for prospective students who wish to enter Gontor in their respective regions. The institution is called the Gontor Entrance Guidance Institute. Prospective students who want to enter Gontor do not all pass the oral exam, one of the factors is the difficulty in tajwid lessons. At the Gontor entrance guidance institution, tajwid learning currently uses a limited number of printed books, making it difficult for those who want to learn it. Among them are Gontor entrance guidance agencies, branch cottages and alumni lodges. For that we need other learning media that can solve these problems, one of which is the mobile smartphone media. The purpose of this research is to make it easier for prospective students who want to learn the Gontor version of Tajwid. The implementation of this application uses a waterfall approach and applies a demonstration method. Testing the Tajwid 2 application is done in 6 ways. With the blackbox method, it shows the application is running smoothly. The use of hardware with six smartphones of various brands and screen sizes indicates the application is running well. A learning media expert gave an average rating of 94%. Tajwid teachers about learning materials by distributing questionnaires to 6 respondents who gave good feedback with a value of 87%. Prospective students about learning materials by distributing questionnaires to 15 respondents who gave good feedback with a value of 88.5%. General Google Playstore users scored 4.9 out of 5 (highest total rating) totaling 112 reviews (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.konu.tajwid). The results of the questionnaire show that this application is very helpful, it can be an effective learning tool, but the application is only helpful, it cannot replace the role of the teacher and the interaction between teachers and real students.

Abstract

The process of writing scientific papers of Informatics Engineering students, determining the title or theme is one of the success and failure factors of students in their thesis. Failure in the thesis in this study means that the thesis that has been completed by students is not used or is not published in the form of a scientific paper. Since January 2018-2020 there have been 40 titles / themes at Darussalam Gontor University published by students. Of the total of all theses, 23 themes experienced failures. The purpose of this research was held to analyze the relationship to thesis failure between themes. This study uses quantitative data research with linear regression data analysis techniques, the independent variable in this study is the thesis theme and the dependent variable in thesis failure. The results of this study indicate that the value of multipleiRi = 0.9938 indicates that the correlation is very strong, while the value ofiR squarei = 0.9876 indicates that the effect of themes is 98.76% on thesis failure, while the remaining 1.24% is influenced by other factors.
