Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini berfokus pada upaya peningkatan peran Kelompok Ibu rumah tangga PPR Moncongloe untuk mengolah sampah sisa makanan dengan metode pemberdayaan yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan. Tahap identifikasi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Dari pelatihan ini, mitra dapat meningkatkan pengetahuannya tentang model tata kelola sampah berbasis partisipasi warga serta mengetahui dan mempraktekkan cara pengolahan sampah sisa makanan melalui komposter biopori dan gentong komposter. Melalui pelatihan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya untuk mewujudkan kota dan pemukiman berkelanjutan dapat dilakukan secara bottom up dengan menitikberatkan pada partisipasi warga.

Abstract

River tubing tourist attractions are a developing destination with tourism potential. However, this service is separate from a health risk prevention promotion service. Initial studies show that the absence of health information services in tourism services causes limitations in tour guides in developing appropriate health information needed by tourists. This study aimed to analyze changes in tour guide knowledge related to the importance of implementing health risk prevention and accident risks in tourist attractions. The type of research used is quantitative research with a case study approach. Informants were selected based on the criteria of being river tubing tour guides, several tour guide officers in river tubing, namely 5 informants. The results of the taxonomic analysis showed an increase in tour guide knowledge related to the prevention of health risks and accident risks that tourism activities can cause. These findings have practical implications, as they suggest that tour guides, in carrying out their duties, can also provide health education to tourists to prevent health risks and accidents, thereby enhancing the overall tourism experience.

Abstract

This manuscript aims to explain the character of the European Union's post-Brexit cultural policy through the EU's New Cultural Agenda adopted by the European Commission in 2018, which is also a response to the weakening of regional cohesion marked by the strengthening of Euroskepticism politics. By using the concept of regionness Hettne and Soderbaum (2000) as an analytical framework to measure the degree of regional cohesion, it is explained that the EU's New Cultural Agenda has two main characteristics: policies that increasingly strengthen the role of civil society and policies that are inclusive and people-centered. These two characters, which are in line with the criteria of the Regional Community phase (active participation of civil society) and Region-State (policy decentralization) in the concept of regionness, open up opportunities to strengthen shared identity and a sense of belonging to the European Union.
