Abstract

Perkembangan anak terjadi pada beberapa aspek seperti perkembangan sosial, perkembangan emosional, dan perkembangan kognitif. Namun tingginya prevalensi gangguan perkembangan anak menyebabkan keterlambatan perkembangan. Agar potensi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak berjalan optimal, maka diperlukan adanya stimulasi perkembangan pada anak. Dimana pemberian stimulasi oleh ibu akan dipengaruhi oleh faktor pengetahuan. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pemanfaatan permainan magnet stick dalam peningkatan perkembangan motorik halus anak usia prasekolah di wilayah kerja puskesmas parangloe Gowa. Metode pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu berkoordinasi dengan pihak setempat, Mempersiapkan materi penyuluhan dan manual book, Mempersiapkan alat permainan magnet stick, melakukan wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner pra tes pengetahuan, melakukan kegiatan penkes, melakukan pengisian kuesioner post-tes pengetahuan, melakukan pengukuran antropometri anak dan melaksanakan kegiatan bermain magnet stick pada anak. Adapun jumlah peserta sebanyak 15 anak dengan 10 Ibu. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman Ibu tentang perkembangan dan stimulasi anak dari 40 % mnjadi 90,0% dari 10 peserta dan terlaksananya kegiatan terapi bermain dengan permainan magnet stick pada 15 orang anak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pentingnya dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan terkain stimulasi perkembangan anak melalui bermain khususnya permainan edukatif magnet stick karena dapat meningkatkan kemampuan imajinasi anak dalam mengembangkan kreatifitasnya sehingga perkembangan motorik halus anak dapat terangsang dengan baik.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Lumio by SMART on high school students' learning activities and outcomes in a static fluid material, which is difficult to understand without experiments. Discovery Learning encourages students to discover concepts independently, enhancing comprehension and retention, while Lumio provides interactive media, such as simulations and animations, to support active learning. This experimental research used a post-test-only control group design with a randomly selected sample from 142 students in grade XI science. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests, observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using normality tests and statistical tests with SPSS V25. Results showed that the experimental class had higher learning activity (83.571) than the control class (69.028), with an independent sample T-test yielding a significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Learning outcomes were also higher in the experimental class (83.43) than in the control class (68.33), analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U-Test due to non-normal data distribution, with a significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. These findings indicate that the Discovery Learning model assisted by Lumio by SMART positively affects students' learning activities and outcomes, suggesting its potential integration with other interactive media or learning models for future research.

Abstract

Web-based 4-tier instrument analysis on dynamic electricity material is one of the diagnostic tests that can determine the extent of understanding of the concepts that students have according to the level of confidence of the answers and the reasons they answer. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the instrument using Rasch Model analysis. Rasch Model analysis is assisted by Winstep software to analyze the scores generated from test instruments with the aim of knowing MNSQ Outfit, ZSTD Outfit, Item Measure, Item fit order, Item reliability, and Alpha Cornbach. This research is a descriptive type with quantitative descriptive research methods. The sample of this study was taken from the population derived from class XII students with a total of 91 people who have learned the concept of dynamic electricity in Jember city with purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a web-based Four-tier diagnostic test consisting of 30 questions. The Rasch Model analysis results stated that the person reliability values of 0.76 and 0.78 were in the sufficient category, the item reliability values of 0.93 and 0.94 were in the excellent category, and the Cronbach Alpha Alpha (reliability) value of 0.78 was in the good category, indicating that the interaction between respondents and items was in the good category. This shows that the diagnostic test instrument is feasible, valid, and reliable.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in physics lessons are one of the main challenges in education. One of the reasons behind this low achievement is the lack of teaching materials available in schools. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes for the implementation of learning modules at SMA Negeri Arjasa. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used was 60 students. The results showed that in class XI 2 that applied the Cramer rule, the average posttest result was 84.87 and the pretest result was 49.53. A similar thing was found in class XI 4 with an average posttest result of 86.9 which was better than the pretest result of 55.8. The increase was analyzed using the N-Gain Score through SPSS 25 to get an average of 0.7 including the high category. The learning outcomes of students who applied Cramer's rule and the inverse matrix method showed a better improvement compared to the learning outcomes of students before being treated with both methods in solving fixed pulley problems

Abstract

Wound care in postoperative fracture patients is a crucial aspect in the healing process and prevention of complications. Poorly treated postoperative wounds can lead to infection, delayed healing, and impaired limb function. This study aims to provide an overview of wound care practices applied to postoperative fracture patients, including procedures, frequency, patient and family involvement, and obstacles faced during care. The method used was a descriptive study with a quantitative approach through direct observation and semi-structured interviews with fracture patients undergoing outpatient and inpatient care. The results showed that most patients received wound care according to standards, but there were still obstacles in self-education, compliance with control schedules, and limited family knowledge about signs of infection. The conclusion of this study emphasises the importance of improving systematic and continuous wound care education to support the healing process and improve patient independence.

Abstract

Physics learning in schools in general is still centered on the material available in books. But there is very little learning about physics that really relates to the culture that exists in the student environment. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the use of ethnophysics flipbook media on student learning outcomes. This study is a quasi-experimental research using a non-equivalent control group design. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year, precisely at SMAN Kalisat. Sample selection was carried out by a homogeneous testing method, selected by lot to obtain control and experimental classes. Based on the results of the normality test, the Sig. value obtained is 0.000 where the value is < 0.05 so that the data is not distributed normally. Then it was followed by the Mann-Whitney U test because the data was abnormal. The results of the Mann-Whitney U Non-Paramentric test showed that the significant values obtained were 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the use of ethnographic flipbook media has an effect on the learning outcomes of high school students on Temperature and Heat material.

Abstract

Acute pain is a common complaint following surgery in patients with femur fractures and can hinder recovery if not managed effectively. This study aimed to describe the application of Benson’s relaxation therapy in reducing pain after Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) for femur fracture. A nursing care case study was conducted on Mrs. S, an 82-year-old woman, in the Central Operating Theatre of Labuang Baji General Hospital, Makassar. Assessment was performed in the post-anesthesia care unit, followed by the identification of the nursing diagnosis Acute Pain (D.0077), intervention using Benson’s relaxation therapy combined with collaborative pharmacological analgesia (ketorolac), implementation, and one-hour evaluation. Results showed a reduction in pain intensity from a score of 6 to 4 on the Numeric Rating Scale, a change in pain pattern from continuous to intermittent, and improved vital signs along with decreased behavioral indicators of pain (grimacing, restlessness, and protective posture). These findings indicate that Benson’s relaxation therapy is an effective non-pharmacological intervention for managing acute postoperative pain, consistent with theoretical evidence that this technique reduces pain perception through muscle relaxation, deep breathing, and reinforcement of spiritual beliefs.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in Diabetes Mellitus is peripheral neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy can cause sensory sensations in the legs to decrease or even disappear. Flow disturbances in the legs could be detected by measuring the ankle brachial index (ABI), which measures the ratio of the systolic pressure in the arm to the systolic pressure of the lower leg. One of tnon-pharmacological therapy is lower range of motion (ROM). This study aimed to determine whether there is an effect of Range of Motion (ROM) exercise on sensory function and Ankle brachial Index in DM patients. This study was conducted in Tamamaung Health Center, Makassar. It used pre-experimental research method in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. It was conducted with direct observation by the researchers. The research sample was 15 respondents at Tamamaung Health Center Makassar who met the criteria of inclusion. Analysis of the data used Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and Paired Sample T-Test. Results of sufficient analysis showed the effect of range of motion exercise on the sensory function and Ankle brachial index in DM patients at Tamamaung Health Center, Makassar. The sensory function was tested using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and obtained the value of ρ = 0.001, indicating that value of ρ was smaller than α = 0.05. Thus, for the sensory function, Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. In addition, the right ABI value was tested using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and obtained the value of ρ = 0.001, while the left ABI value was tested using Paired Sample T Test and obtained the value of ρ = 0.000, indicating that the value of ρ was smaller than α = 0.05. It means that for ABI value, Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The results concludes that there is an effect of range of motion exercise on sensory function and Ankle brachial index in diabetes mellitus patients at Tamamaung Health Center, Makassar. It is recommended that there should be educational program and implementation of ROM exercises especially in diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract

Dalam Society 5.0, di mana teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, representasi sains secara verbal yang efektif adalah kunci untuk mengkomunikasikan pengetahuan dan inovasi di bidang sains dan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui representasi verbal ilmu pengetahuan di era Society 5.0 dan perannya dalam mendukung kemajuan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi literatur penelitian ini adalah telaah pustaka mendalam. Telaah pustaka merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan mensintesis literatur yang relevan dalam bidang studi tertentu. Hasil penelitian yaitu representasi verbal sains sangat penting dalam Society 5.0, di mana teknologi merupakan kekuatan pendorong kemajuan masyarakat. Dengan mengkomunikasikan pengetahuan ilmiah secara efektif dengan cara yang jelas dan mudah dipahami kepada berbagai khalayak, representasi sains secara verbal memperluas pengaruh pengetahuan ilmiah dan mempercepat kemajuan teknologi. Para ilmuwan dan peneliti harus mengasah kemampuan komunikasi mereka dalam representasi verbal ilmu pengetahuan untuk berkontribusi secara efektif demi masa depan yang lebih baik.
