Abstract

This study is entitled "The Application of Local Wisdom in the Subjects of Pancasila Education and Class VII B Citizenship in UPTD SMP Negeri 05 Bangkalan". This type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative descriptive study, research in which problem solving procedures are investigated by describing or describing the state of the subject or object of research. This research was conducted in 1 of the 1 meetings, consisting of four stages, namely questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. Questionnaire and interview data collection techniques. The results showed that the application of local wisdom in the PPKn was still being carried out in PPkn subjects at SMP Negeri 05 Bangkalan. This shows that in this globalization era, PPKn teachers still maintain local wisdom in PPKn subjects, such as praying, saying greetings, greetings, courtesy, mutual cooperation, and obeying discipline. Thus it can be concluded that by applying local wisdom in PPKn subjects can improve teacher skills, student activities, and teaching and learning in class VII B students of SMP Negeri 05 Bangkalan. The application of local wisdom can maintain local wisdom during the PPKn learning process. so that it can be applied to other subjects.

Abstract

Civics Education (PKn) is a subject that aims to educate students to foster morale and to make good citizens, which is expected to be realized in daily life, both within the school environment and outside the school environment. Civics education (PKn) was originally supposed to be able to shape the activeness, creativity, and intelligent thinking of students in solving any existing problem by way of consensus agreement in accordance with the IV points of Pancasila precepts, namely "Democracy led by wisdom in consultation and representation". Civics is a lesson about government and civic obligations relating to the state or between citizens'. This research uses a quantitative research type of quasi-experiment by using one variable to know the learning achievement, namely, affective, cognitive and psychomotor, which aims to determine the effect and differences in group discussion methods and lecture methods on results. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that shows that civics education (PKn) learning with group discussion method is better than lecture learning. There are differences in student learning achievement after using the group discussion method in the subjects of Civics Class VII A/ B MTs Miftahul Mubtadiin.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative research type of quasi experiment by using one variable to know the learning outcomes, namely, affective, cognitive and psychomotor, which aims to determine the effect and differences in visual learning media and conventional learning media on learning outcomes. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that shows that citizenship education (PKn) learning with visual learning media is better than conventional learning media. There are differences in student learning outcomes after using with visual learning media in the subjects of Civics Class VII A MTs Al Jaly.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam rangka memenuhi Tridarma perguruan tinggi yang wajib dilakukan oleh dosen. Dalam hal ini dirasa sangat tepat dilakukan untuk ikut menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada didalam masyarakat dengan tujuan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan meningkatkan daya saing bangsa. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat berupa pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi bekal serta mengantarkan para guru SD/MI kepada keterampilan atau kemahiran dalam melakukan penelitian dan menulis karya ilmiah. Dengan harapan, kegiatan ini diikutinya dengan baik dan serius agar menghasilkan kualitas yang baik dalam menulis Karya Ilmiah. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan tersebut secara runtut guru diharapkan mampu melakukan penelitian serta menulis artikel ilmiah sehingga menghasilkan karya berupa hasil penelian yang sekaligus dapat dipublikasikan di jurnal ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian masyarakat dalam hal ini berupa pelatihan dalam metode penelitian Kualitatif, kuantitatif dan PTK, merupakan upaya kita untuk membiasakan guru-guru khususnya guru SD/MI untuk meneliti dan mempublikasikan karya tulis ilmiahnya.

Abstract

Biosphere Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu reserve was based on managed zonations as a multi-benefit management approach. This region has a fairly large carbon stocks stored in its natural peat swamp forest ecosystems. How ever the general condition of the peat swamp forest in the landscape Biosphere Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu currently has suffered damage, especially in the buffer and transition zones. The threat to the existenceof protected areas are not only coming from forest fires factors alone, but also from encroachment and illegal logging. Therefore, is requires a recovery effort. This research aims to determine the survival rate and to estimate above ground biomass accumulation of the main tree species of peat swamp forest which was used to restore the burnt-peat. Estimate total biomass accumulation on the surface using allometric equations. Result of this research prove that the type of Jelutung (Dyera polyphylla) has the best survival rate among the values of other types (98%), while the species Pisang-pisang (Mezzettia parviflora) have a survival rate of 35%. Total above ground biomass accumulation on thehighest level found in Jelutung (Dyera polyphylla) it was 499.015 kg/ha/year, while the lowest total above ground biomass accumulation found in Meranti batu (Shorea uliginosa) 88.867 kg/ha/year.

Abstract

Abstract: This article describes the understanding of students' concepts, especially the misconceptions that occur during the implementation of online learning for Social Education subjects during the Covid-19 Pandemic throughout the year 2020/2021. The method used is a quantitative approach with the type of survey research. The subjects studied were selected based on convenient sampling, namely class IX students of SMP 1 Negeri Kamal who used the Quizizz application. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) by matching the score and the accuracy of the answers, after obtaining the score, it could be matched to the table of certainty levels on the CRI scale. The results showed that there was a 50% remediation of student misconceptions.Abstrak: Artikel ini memaparkan pemahaman konsep siswa khususnya miskonsepsi yang terjadi selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran Ilmu Pendidikan Sosial di dalam masa Pandemi Covid-19 sepanjang tahun 2020/2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survey. Subjek yang diteliti dipilih berdasarkan convenient sampling yakni siswa kelas IX SMP 1 Negeri Kamal yang menggunakan applikasi Quizizz. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan Certainly of Respone Index (CRI) dengan cara mencocokkan skor dan akurasi jawaban, setelah diperoleh skor, dapat dicocokkan pada tabel tingkat kepastian dalam skala CRI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya remediasi Miskonsepsi Siswa sebesar 50%.

Abstract

Abstract: Has conducted research development of learning tools at the elementary school civics model of Cooperative Scripts with 4D modifications aimed at eliminating misconceptions learning outcomes Civics on the subject matter Cultural Diversity in Indonesia. Research procedure divided into 2 steps that are, first step is the making of learning tools, and second step is the implementation/trial step. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results show a valid learning tool, learning implementation was good (3.87), activity centered on active student. Student learning outcomes were analyzed by N-gain indicates increased student learning outcomes Civics (0.6) as well as the elimination of misconceptions students. The conclusions of this study, that the learning device models Cooperative Scripts Civics feasible, can enhance and significantly affect the elimination misconception civics student learning outcomes in primary school. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri atas 2 tahap, yakni tahap I merupakan tahap pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, dan tahap II merupakan tahap uji coba/implementasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran valid, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran baik (3.87), kegiatan berpusat pada murid aktif. Hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan N-gain menunjukkan hasil belajar PKn siswa meningkat (0.6) begitu pula dengan eliminasi Miskonsepsi siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa perangkat pembelajaran PKn model Cooperative Scripts layak, dapat meningkatkan dan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap eliminasi Miskonsepsi hasil belajar PKn siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to eliminate misconceptions and increase the level of students’ comprehension on Civic Education subject cultural diversity in Indonesia matters. The research applied a quasi-experimental method. The respondents were 25 students of SDN Muhammadiyah 1 Banyuajuh, Malang. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results show valid learning materials, activity on student-centered, teaching and learning materialized well (3,9). The result of students’ concept comprehension has been analyzed by N-Gain that shows improvement (0,75), and students’ misconception is decreasing. It can be said that the Cooperative Scripts learning materials are feasible, has influence, and can enhance the concept comprehension and significantly affect the elimination of students’ misconception on Civic Education subject in Elementary school students.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar model Cooperative Scripts dengan 4D modifikasi yang bertujuan untuk mengeliminasi Miskonsepsi pemahaman konsep IPA pada pokok bahasan materi sistem pernapasan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran valid, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran baik (3.97), kegiatan berpusat pada murid aktif. Hasil tes pemahaman konsep siswa dianalisis dengan N-gain menunjukkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa meningkat (0.65) begitu pula dengan eliminasi Miskonsepsi siswa, sejalan dengan hasil penilaian afektif siswa menunjukkan hasil yang baik (3.9). Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model Cooperative Scripts layak, dapat meningkatkan dan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap eliminasi Miskonsepsi pemahaman konsep IPA siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian perancangan sebuah alat sistem alarm kebakaran dengan berbasis arduino menggunakan flame detector dan sensor MQ-2. Alat ini memberikan peringatan melalui buzzer ketika sensor mendeteksi api dan gas atau kebakaran yang berada di sekitarnya. Sumber objek berupa lilin yang akan dideteksi sensor flame detector dan sumber objek gas portable yang akan dideteksi sensor MQ-2. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode eksperimen dimana dilakukan pengambilan data pada flame detector sebanyak 7 kali dan sensor MQ-2 sebanyak 5 kali. Sistem alarm kebakaran ini telah dilakukan validasi kelayakan alat oleh pakar media, tujuannya yaitu untuk mengukur kelayakan pada alat yang telah dirancang dengan membagikan angket kepada validator. Berdasarkan hasil validasi alat didapatkan hasil rata-rata 3,57 dimana skor tersebut memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dengan standar kelayakan 3,26 < x < 4,00. Hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa sensor flame detector dapat mendeteksi keberadaan api pada jarak 5 cm - 40 cm, dimana pada jarak 5 cm dengan rata-rata waktu 0,57143, jarak 10 cm 1,57143, jarak 20 cm 8, jarak 30 13 dan jarak 40 cm 9. Sensor MQ-2 dapat mendeteksi kadar PPM yang melampui 1,20 PPM pada jarak 5 cm – 20 cm, dimana pada jarak 5 cm dengan rata-rata waktu3,8, jarak 10 cm 7,6, jarak 20 cm 11,4. Berdasarkan data dapat disimpulkan semakin jauh jarak yang ditempuh sensor dengan objek maka semakin lama pula waktu sensor mendeteksi objek tersebut.
