Abstract

Introduction. Library coverage in digital media reflects public attention to library development. This study examines trends in library news coverage in national digital media focusing on volume, topics, library types, tone, geographic location, and photo usage. Research Methods. A quantitative descriptive approach with content analysis was applied to 511 news articles published by Detik.com, Kompas.com, Tribunnews.com, CNNIndonesia.com, and Liputan6.com from January 2023 to December 2024. The unit of analysis consisted of news articles focusing primarily on libraries. Data Analysis. The analysis focused on the content and context of library reporting. Results. The findings show that themes of services, literacy activities, and facility development dominated coverage. Public libraries appeared most frequently, while community and mobile libraries received limited attention. The overall tone was predominantly positive, with coverage concentrated in urban areas, particularly DKI Jakarta. Most articles included photos to reinforce visual messages. Conclusion. Digital media portrays libraries as progressive and relevant institutions, highlighting the need for more structured publication strategies and broader coverage to ensure balanced representation.

Abstract

Plagiarisme merupakan masalah serius dalam penulisan karya ilmiah yang secara tidak langsung dapat menghambat perkembangan intelektual serta etika belajar mengajar di sekolah. Di SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru, pemahaman guru dan siswa mengenai plagiarisme, termasuk jenis, dampak, dan cara pencegahannya, masih terbatas. Rendahnya pemahaman ini berpotensi memicu praktek-praktek plagiarisme baik secara sadar maupun tidak. Untuk itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai plagiarism. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru tentang plagiarism. Metode yang dilakukan adalah ceramah, diskusi dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan plagiarisme dikalangan guru dan siswa dari 61.14% menjadi 85,42% artinya peningkatan pengetahuan naik menjadi 24,28%.

Abstract

This goal is to redesign the packaging for wajik tapai melayu that keep up with the times without changing the logo and product names that were previously known, redesigning the packaging for wajik tapai melayu  with more practical steps and calculating the performance of products and packaging for wajik tapai melayu. The method used is to coordinate with partners, assistance by providing views to partners about the redesign of the packaging for wajik tapai melayu and conducting market trials with new packaging from wajik tapai melayu  by observing consumer responses related to changes in wajik tapai melayu  packaging by going down to the shop where the product is marketed. The results show that 24 months before community service activities began, the average sales of new wajik tapai melayu  were around Rp. 67 million per month after the partner's average income was Rp. 114 million per month or an increase of 69.4%. Then the increase in income with the result of an increase of 16.3% on average to IDR 132 million per month. From the p-value .000 *** it can be ignored that the average increase that occurs is significant. That is, offering care and rejuvenation packaging that can significantly increase income for community service partners. The packaging comparison test results show that consumers agree to this contract and significant changes in graphic design and packaging form. Meanwhile, in terms of information on the packaging, there was relatively no significant difference (p-value = .159) between the old packaging and the new package. This is because there is not much information added or given from the two packages, so that the type of information presented is relatively the same by consumers.
