Abstract

This research is entiled mapping facebook posts as a promotial media for provincipal libraries throught indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out how to map facebook posts as a promotional media for provincial libraries throught Indonesia. The technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. Statisticcollection strategies the usage of observation, documentation, literature look at, and interviews. The populace in this have a look at is 34 provinces and the pattern is 22 provinces. The result of this study were found in the provinces of Lampung and West Java with 353 posts, Bangka Belitung province with 288 posts, Riau province with 263 posts, Yogyakarta province with 143 posts, Jakarta province and West Kalimantan province with 141 posts. Of the nine indicators of the benefits of library promotion, the most posted are indicators that help inform library activities with the number of posts 1343 or (47.51%), indicators can help introduce existence with the number of posts 544 or (19.24%), indicators attract attention with the number of posts as many as 364 or (12.88%), the indicator helps tell about what is in the library with number of posts 242 or (8.56%), the indicator informs the new book with the number of posts 213 or (7,53%).

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the implementation of library accreditation instruments at the SMA/MA level in Kec. Tualang Sakti Kab. Siak. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive research. The results showed that of the 10 schools that had been studied, not all of them implemented library accreditation. The average of the percentages seen, the 6 components contained in the school library instrument at the SMA/MA level as a whole school does not exceed the NA value ? 60 or in the overall estimation of the instrument components not more than 50%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the habits, reasons, and impacts of social media use among generation z and alpha. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The population of this study amounted to 24,926 people consisting of generation z and alpha in Sidomulyo Barat urban village, with a sample of 394 people selected using certain sampling techniques. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the patterns, reasons, or impacts of social media use between these two generations. The most widely used types of social media are whatsapp, tiktok, and instagram. Most respondents access social media using wifi as the main connection source, and the dominant device used is a smartphone. The average length of social media use is three years, with an average access time of two hours a day. The preferred place to access social media is at home. The main reason for using social media is for entertainment, followed by the need to get information. The perceived positive impacts include the ease of communicating with friends or family, while the most commonly reported negative impacts are causing addiction and spending too much time which can interfere with productivity.

Abstract

This paper explains recreated old manuscript in flipping form. It is manuscript from digitalization result in research of cataloging and conserving Malay manuscript in Riau Province in first year. Generally, digitizing result will produce digital files in portable document format (.pdf). Basically, type of this file is general form in digitizing process. But, digitizing result in this form has not attractive view for young generation. And flipping form is one of the solution of this problem. It aims to give best and attractive experience for reading manuscript. This method can produce an digitizing result of Malay manuscript with flipping effect delightly. === Artikel ini membahas tentang kemas ulang naskah kuno dalam bentuk flipping. Naskah kuno yang konversikan ke dalam bentuk flipping adalah naskah kuno hasil digitalisasi dalam penelitian Katalogisasi dan Konservasi Naskah Kuno Melayu di Provinsi Riau pada tahun pertama. Pada umumnya, hasil digitalisasi naskah kuno akan menghasilkan file digital dalam bentuk *pdf. Pada dasarnya jenis file ini merupakan jenis file yang paling umum digunakan dalam proses digitalisasi. Namun, hasil digitalisasi dalam bentuk *pdf memiliki tampilan yang monoton dan kurang menarik bagi generasi masa kini. Solusinya, guna memberikan pengalaman membaca naskah digital yang lebih menyenangkan, hasil digitalisasi dikonversikan ke dalam bentuk flipping. Melalui metode ini mampu menghasilkan sebuah hasil digitalisasi naskah kuno Melayu dengan efek flipping yang lebih menyenangkan.
