Abstract

This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lancang Kuning. The study was conducted for 3 months from September to November 2015. This study is a descriptive research, where the first process is the process of making organic fertilizer derived from pineapple skin waste fermented for 1 month POC that has been taken samplenya and tested in the laboratory to determine the content of micro and macro nutrients and C-organicnya. To measure macro and micro nutrient content, the test method used was Kjeldahl for nitrogen content, while for P, K, CaO, MgO and Fe, the Atomic Absobtion spectrophometric (AAS) method was used and the C-organic content was tested by spectrophometric method. The results showed that POC of Pineapple Skin Waste contained P 23,63 ppm, K 08,25 ppm, N 01,27%, Ca 27,55 ppm, Mg 137,25 ppm, Na 79,52 ppm, Na 79, 52 ppm , Fe 1,27 ppm, Mn 28,75 ppm, Cu 0,17 ppm, Zn 0,53 ppm and C Organic 3,10%.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to examine the factors that caused melon harvesting age in Pekanbaru faster than in the melon-producing regions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the discussion found that the factors that influence the harvesting age of melon in Pekanbaru City are the water stress condition, the unfulfilled essential ingredients, the insufficient planting medium of organic matter, the importance of growth regulators that can enlarge the fruit and maintain the age of the plant, environmental modification.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain sweet corn varieties that can be cultivated Pekanbaru. The method used is an experimental method to design treatment 5 varieties of sweet corn that is v1 = Sugar 75; v2 = Star Asia; v3 = Bonanza; v4 = Sagita sweet; v5 = Master sweet, and using a completely randomized design environment and repeated 6 times. Parameter observation is plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, length cob without husk (cm), weight berkelobot cob, cob weight without berkelobot (g), and seed sugar content (%). The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by DMRT multiple range test at 5%. Asia Star varieties are best varieties, followed by varetas sagita Sweet.

Abstract

Research conducted experiments using a completely randomized design environment with three replications, and design of treatment that is the time of planting silk kale as secondary crops to the cultivation of sweet corn (K) consisting of: k1 = planting at the same time; k2 = time of planting silk kale 1 week after planting sweet corn; k3 = time of planting silk kale 2 weeks after planting sweet corn; k4 = time of planting silk kale 3 weeks after planting sweet corn; K5 = single planting sweet corn planting time = k1; k6 = single silk kale planting time = k1. The results showed that silk kale can be planted together with sweet corn planting time, up to three weeks after planting sweet corn. Results of sweet corn is not influenced by the timing of planting different silk kale. Land values in the cropping system Equality sweet corn with silk kale is 1.83. Competition index between sweet corn and silk kale is 1.73.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Lingkungan Acak Lengkap, dan Rancangan Perlakuan 3 jenis varietas (V) jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata) yaitu v1 = Varietas Sweet Boy, v2 = Varietas Super Sweet, dan v3 = Varietas Bonanza. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Sidik Ragam, dan parameter yang diamati adalah panjang tongkol berkelobot, berat tongkol berkelobot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot, dan kandungan gula biji jagung manis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa varietas Bonanza lebih baik dibandingkan kedua varietas yang lain, diman berat tongkol tanpa kelobot adalah 295 g, dan kadar gula biji adalah 15,3 %.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan waktu panen yang tepatdengan melihat kadar gula biji jagung manis yang paling baik. Penelitiandilakukan secara eksperimen, dengan perlakuan waktu panen yang berbeda yaitupukul 8.00, 10.00, 12.00, 14.00, 16.00, dan 17.00. Analisa data denganmenggunakan Regresi Polinomial, peubah yang diamati adalah Kadar gula bijijagung manis. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa kadar gula optimum =14.82% diperoleh pada waktu panen pukul 17.00, berdasarkan persamaan regresiy= 8.527 + 0.727 x - 0.022 x2 , dan r2 = 0.782

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was done by using completely the randomized design of cunstruction which consist of six treatments with three replications, such as : control, SNN 0,5 cc / l; SNN cc / l ; SNN 1,5 cc / l ; SNN 2 cc / l ; and SNN 2,5 cc / l. The parameter that we search are from the heigt of the plant, the count of the leaf, the length of the leaf and the fresh weight of the plant it self. The data which analyses is used Polynomial regression. The results showed that, the concentrate of SNN that given the hights product of lettuce is 2.5 cc / l of water.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pupuk daun yang paling cocok untuk memperbaiki kualitas jagung manis yang di tanam di Kota pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara eksperimen dengan menguji 5 macam pupuk daun sebagai perlakuan, dan kontrol ( tanpa pupuk daun ). Pupuk daun yang dimaksud adalah Bayfolan; Gandasil B; pupuk cair NR; pupuk SNN; pupuk Super Bionik, dan tanpa pupuk. Rancangan lingkungan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan acak Lengkap dengan 4 kali ulangan. Parameter yang diamati hanya Kadar gula total biji jagung manis ( Zea mays saccharata ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ke lima macam pupuk daun yang digunakan tidak dapat memningkatkan kadar gula total biji jagung manis tersebut.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the nutrient content of the compost derived from sweet corn crop residues after harvest. This research is descriptive, wherein the first process is the process of making compost derived from corn crop residue after harvest, are composted for 1 month by using bio activator EM-4. To measure the content of macro nutrients, the test method used is the Kjeldahl method for nitrogen content, while for P, K, CaO, MgO and Fe Atomic absortion spectrophotometric used method (AAS), and the content of C - Organic tested by Spectrophotometric method.Laboratory test results on the compost derived from sweet corn litter containing N 1:05%, 1.01% P2O5, 0.18% K2O, CaO 1.98%, MgO 0.53%, C - 10.5% Organic, and C / N ratio of 9.97.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian Ini bertujuan untuk menguji pupuk hantu dalam menstimulirperkecambahan benih selada. Rancangan lingkunan yang digunakan adalahRancangan Acak Lengkap, dan uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Uji t Berpasanganpada taraf uji 1 %. Parameter yang diamati adalah viabilitas benih selada, Kecepatanperkecambahan benih selada, Tinggi bibit selada pada waktu pindah tanam, danwaktu pindah tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk hantumemberikan beda yang sngat nyata terhadap viabilitas benih, kecepatanperkecambahan, tinggi bibit, dan waktu pindah tanam bibit selada.
