Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of health literacy and physical fitness of students at Senior High School PGRI 2 Palembang, This study is a quantitative descriptive research.. There are two methods used in this research, namely the survey method using the Health Literacy Study-European-Short Question 10-Indonesia questionnaire to assess the level of health literacy and the test method using the TKPN to determine the level of physical fitness. In this study, the research population consists of all students at Senior High School PGRI 2 Palembang, totaling 806 students. The sample for this research uses the Slovin formula approach, which results in a sample size of 88 students from classes X1, X2, and X3. Data analysis techniques employ quantitative descriptive analysis presented in the form of percentages using Microsoft Excel. The results of the health literacy level showed that 31.8% of students (28 students) were in the “insufficient” category, 33% (29 students) were in the “problematic” category, 30.7% (27 students) were in the sufficient” category, and 4.5% (4 students) were in the “perfect” category. Based on the average score is 28.8, the health literacy level of students at Senior High School PGRI 2 Palembang falls into the “problematic” category. For physical fitness the data reveals that 15.9% of students (14 students) have a “very good” level of physical fitness, 37.5% of students (33 students) have a “good” level of physical fitness, 46.6% of students (41 students) have “sufficient” level of physical fitness, and 0% of students (0 students) have “low” or “poor” physical fitness. Based on the average score is 3.15, the level of physical fitness of students at Senior High School PGRI 2 Palembang falls into the “good” category.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan di Kota Palembang tentang alat tes dan pengukuran kondisi fisik berbasis digital di laboratorium Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesehatan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan dan bimbingan teknis ini adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi dan praktik. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 40 guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan di Kota Palembang pada tanggal 3 Agustus 2024 - 14 September 2024 yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 52 Palembang dan Laboratorium Penjaskes Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya. Instrumen pengabdian ini adalah angket yang dibuat dalam google form, baik untuk pretest dan posttest kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil dari pendampingan ini adalah sebuah keberhasilan dimana terjadi peningkatan kompetensi setelah dilakukan pendampingan berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan dalam menggunakan alat tes pengukuran kondisi fisik berbasis digital.

Abstract

The use of technology in supporting learning is currently massive by teachers, one of the latest technologies that is often used is e-books that make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials. This study aims to evaluate how effective it is to use e-books based on the Flip PDF Professional application for high school students. The approach used is Classroom Action Research, consisting of three cycles, namely pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class X1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Palembang. Data collection was carried out through test and observation methods carried out in several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that in the pre-cycle stage, the classical completeness rate reached 30%, the average score of students was 55.6. Furthermore, the level of completeness increased by 60% and the average score was 72. Cycle II got even better results with the level of classical completeness reaching 66.6% and the average score of students increasing to 81. The conclusion of this study is that the use of e-books based on the Flip PDF Professional application for sepak takraw learning is effective for improving students' academic achievement. The use of this interactive e-book is expected to increase students' interest in learning, understanding of concepts, and skills in Sepak Takraw through a more dynamic, visual, and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

This community service activity is to conduct training and mentoring in the use of E-Books Based on the Flip PDF Professional Application as digital teaching materials. This community service activity is in collaboration with partners, namely Subject Teachers' Conference Physical education, sports and health teachers in Palembang City. The target audience in this community service activity in Palembang City. The method of implementing the activity is by mentoring Physical education, sports and health teachers in Palembang City in using the E-Book Flip PDF Professional. The stages in community service activities are the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The results of this community service activity are the pretest results, namely 10%. Physical education, sports and health teachers in Palembang City do not yet know about the operation of the E-Book Flip PDF Professional, namely 10%. According to Physical education, sports and health Teachers, the use of E-Book Flip PDF is less effective, as seen from the results, namely 35%. The post-test results showed an increase in the realm of knowledge about the E-Book Flip PDF Professional, namely 90%. Physical education, sports and health teachers in Palembang City can operate the E-Book Flip PDF Professional, namely 90%. According to Physical education, sports and health Teachers, the use of E-Book Flip PDF is effective for use, which is 90%. The conclusion of this community service activity is that it has a good impact on Physical education, sports and health teachers in Palembang City because it can be used as a reference in teaching and improving skills in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan e-book sepak takraw berbasis Flip PDF Profesional pada mahasiswa semester ganjil 2024/2025. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian menggunakan mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya semester III A kelas Indralaya berjumlah 33 orang. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh adanya peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada ranah kognitif saat pra-test sebesar 40% tidak tuntas secara klasikal dan setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I memperoleh 90,9% tuntas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah E-Book Flip PDF Professional dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat dan bakat dalam olahraga bola basket pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei untuk mengumpulkan data. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 216 siswa, dan sampel yang diambil berjumlah 36 siswa dengan kriteria laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 89% siswa menunjukkan minat yang baik terhadap olahraga bola basket. Tes fisik yang dilakukan meliputi tes sprint 20 meter, Illinois agility run test, push-up, dan vertical jump. Hasil tes bakat melalui tes fisik menunjukkan 40% siswa laki-laki, yaitu 5 dari 14 siswa, yang memiliki bakat dalam olahraga bola basket, sehingga dapat dikategorikan bahwa siswa laki-laki kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu menunjukkan bakat yang lemah dalam olahraga bola basket. Sementara itu, 36% siswa perempuan, yaitu 9 dari 22 siswa, yang memiliki bakat dalam olahraga bola basket, sehingga juga dapat dikategorikan memiliki bakat yang lemah pada siswa perempuan kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan lompat gawang terhadap power otot tungkai pada atlet bola voli putri usia 15–17 tahun. Power otot tungkai merupakan komponen penting dalam menunjang keterampilan dasar permainan bola voli, khususnya pada saat melakukan smash, block, dan servis lompat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 atlet putri yang mengikuti program latihan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu, total 18 kali pertemuan. Instrumen pengukuran yang digunakan adalah tes vertical jump. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan vertical jump setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa latihan lompat gawang. Rata-rata hasil pre-test sebesar 36,60 meningkat menjadi 41,50 pada post-test atau mengalami kenaikan 13,11%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan lompat gawang mampu meningkatkan daya ledak otot tungkai secara efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan lompat gawang memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada atlet bola voli putri usia 15–17 tahun. Latihan ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu bentuk program latihan fisik yang efektif untuk menunjang performa atlet bola voli.

Abstract

Currently, the higher education system is in a continuous process of change. There is a change paradigm in learning that is nowadays being carried out online, or what is commonly known as e-learning. The purpose of this study was to discover college students perspective of e-learning that have been applied. An online survey with a semi-structured questionnaire was conducted on 177 (M: 112; F: 65) college students of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Departement, Faculty of Teacher Training, Sriwijaya University. The results show that 70.06% of students liked the application of e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, but on the next semester, 63.84% of students wanted face-to-face (offline) learning. This is because 67.79% & 69.49% of students stated that there were lack of interaction with lecturers and classmates in the application of e-learning, although 64.41% of students think that the application of e-learning can increase their learning independency. The contradiction in the results of the study shows, only when an extraordinary event (pandemic) occurs, the application of e-learning becomes a priority to do, but if the situation returns to normal, students prefer faceto-face (offline) learning. This is because students are accustomed to practice in the field as a PE teacher candidate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of hanging ball training on top serve ability in volleyball extracurricular activities for female students of North Indralaya 1 Public Senior High School. The method used in this research was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest one group design. The sampling technique is total population sampling with a sample size of 30 people. The treatment in this study was hanging ball training given for 6 weeks with a training frequency of 3 times a week. The results of data processing and analysis using the data normality test and hypothesis testing with the t test formula show that hanging ball training has an effect on the results of the top serve. This can be seen from the results of data analysis through calculating the t test formula with the criterion tcount being greater than ttable (19.28 > 1.70) with a significance level of α = 0.05 and the number of samples (N = 30), then the hypothesis proposed accepted. Hanging ball training has an influence on the results of top serve ability. The research results showed that hanging ball training hanging ball training is useful for teachers and coaches as a guide to improving the top serve in volleyball extracurricular activities for female students of North Indralaya 1 Public Senior High School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah alat tes vertical jump berbasis digital efektif digunakan untuk pengukuran power pada pelatih dan atlet PB Pusri Palembang dan Ranau Gymnastic Club. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan angket dan tes vertical jump menggunakan alat vertical jump berbasis digital. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah presentase error secara perhitungan manual. Selanjutnya, mengambil kesimpulan dari tes dengan menggunakan uji presentase error secara digital dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatih dan atlet Pengurus Besar Pusri Palembang dan Ranau Gymnastic Club. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan nilai keefektifan sebesar 96,16% dan hasil analisis angket menyatakan alat tes vertical jump layak untuk digunakan dengan hasil analisis angket pada atlet PB Pusri Palembang sebesar 96,75%, hasil analisis angket pada atlet Ranau Gymnastic Club sebesar 97%, sedangkan hasil analisis angket pada pelatih PB Pusri Palembang dan Ranau Gymnastic Club sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat vertical jump berbasis digital ini efektif digunakan untuk mengukur power pada pelatih dan atlet PB Pusri Palembang dan Ranau Gymnastic Club. Abstract: This research aims to find out whether a digital-based vertical jump test tool is effective for measuring power in coaches and athletes at PB Pusri Palembang and Ranau Gymnastics Club. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research method, using a questionnaire and a vertical jump test using a digital-based vertical jump tool. The data analysis used is the percentage error using manual calculations. Next, draw conclusions from the test using a digital error percentage test and draw conclusions. The research subjects in this study were coaches and athletes from the Pusri Palembang Executive Board and the Ranau Gymnastic Club. The research subjects were 22 people. The results of the research showed that the effectiveness value was 96.16% and the results of the questionnaire analysis stated that the vertical jump test tool was suitable for use with the results of the questionnaire analysis on PB Pusri Palembang athletes being 96.75%, the results of the questionnaire analysis on Ranau Gymnastic Club athletes being 97% , while the results of the questionnaire analysis for PB Pusri Palembang and Ranau Gymnastic Club coaches were 100%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this digital-based vertical jump tool is effectively used to measure power in PB Pusri Palembang and Ranau Gymnastic Club coaches and athletes.
