Abstract

Suminagashi is a technique for decorating fabric or paper by dropping ink or paint onto the surface of water or a water-gelmixture, then placing the fabric or paper on the liquid so that the color is absorbed. The study aims to examine the effect of increasing water volume in acrilylic paint on the color quality of the suminagashi technique appiled too polyester scraves, specifially in terms of color sharpness and color absorption. Additionally, it investigates the variations in color outcomes across different water-to-point ratios. An experimental method was employed using three paint-to-water ratios 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3. Color quality was evaluated through observations by 30 respondents and analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis H test with SPSS version 30. The result indicate that the volume of water in the acrylic paint mixture significantly influences color quality. The 1:1 ratio produced the higest color sharpness, while the 1:3 ratio showed the best color absroption. Distinct color differences were observed among the scarves produced with each ratio.

Abstract

Jobsheet merupakan suatu media cetak untuk pegangan peserta didik yang digunakan sebagai panduan dalam memperlancar proses pembelajaran praktik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) tingkat kelayakan media jobsheet pembuatan pola dasar rok, dan 2) hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembuatan pola dasar rok menggunakan jobsheet di SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X Tata Busana sebanyak 8 peserta didik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan 1) penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa terhadap media jobsheet pembuatan pola dasar rok, dan 2) tes hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu tes kognitif berupa soal pilihan ganda dan tes kinerja pembuatan pola d asar rok teknik konstruksi. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu tes kognitif serta tes kinerja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) tingkat kelayakan jobsheet pembuatan pola dasar rok teknik konstruksi mencapai rata-rata skor 3,45 dengan kategori sangat layak, dan 2) hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan 88% yang mana telah melampaui kriteria ketuntasan yang berlaku yaitu 75 pada materi pembuatan pola dasar rok teknik konstruksi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in teacher and student activities, psychomotor learning outcomes, and student responses through the application of the drill and practice method in the practice of sewing a flapped pasepelle pocket fragment. This study was conducted at SMKN 8 Surabaya in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample in this study were 32 students of class XI fashion 3. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) to determine the improvement of existing problems, by applying 4 stages of the cycle in the application of the drill and practice method in making a flapped pasepelle pocket fragment at SMKN 8 Surabaya. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics. Data collection techniques in this study are using questionnaires, psychomotor tests, and observations. The results of the study prove that: 1) The application of the practice method in making a valved passemaklle pocket fragment obtained a final result with an average of 3.5 in cycle I and 3.7 in cycle II with a very good category index, 2) The application of the practice method in making a valved passemaklle pocket fragment was able to improve psychomotor learning outcomes with an average classical completeness of 53.1% in cycle I and became 78.1% in cycle II, with an increase of 25%. 3) The response of students in making a valved passemaklle pocket fragment by applying the practice method got a positive answer of 90.7% agreeing that the drill and practice method can improve skills with an average percentage of indicators of 76% with a good category. The findings of this study are that using the practice method (drill and practice) can improve the learning outcomes of class XI Clothing 3 students at SMKN 8 Surabaya on the material of making a valved passemaklle pocket fragment.

Abstract

Technological developments have influenced various aspects of life, one of which is shopping methods. Consumers now have two main options for shopping: offline and online. Competition between offline and online stores is increasingly fierce, so it is important to understand the differences in consumer shopping interests in both methods. This study aims to identify whether there are significant differences in offline and online shopping interests and to measure the magnitude of these differences. The method used in this study is quantitative with a difference test approach. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Blitar with students from the Fashion Design and Production department as research subjects. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to respondents. The collected data were then analyzed using a paired two-sample T-test to determine differences in shopping interests between offline and online. After that, the effect size calculation was carried out using Cohen's D to measure the magnitude of the existing differences. The results showed that there are significant differences in interest in offline and online shopping. The results of the T-test indicate a clear difference between these two shopping methods. Furthermore, the Cohen's D effect size analysis produced a value of -0.940, which indicates that the difference is in the large category. This means that Fashion Design and Production students at SMK Negeri 3 Blitar are more likely to have a higher interest in online shopping than offline shopping. This is due to the convenience and practicality of online shopping, where consumers do not need to come to a physical store to make a transaction. This study provides an overview of how shopping interest can be influenced by the ease of access offered by online shopping.
