Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide training to tour managers in Bumdes Puri Mataram, Tridadi, Sleman, Yogyakarta and photographers to use the Art of Photography Marketing in tourism promotion. In various references and journals the implementation of this service has never been done. The dedication process is done by combining photographic art techniques conceptualized in a tourist vehicle, edited with photoshop and uploaded on social media for promotional media. This Art Photography Marketing involves various parties from Puri Mataram, 80 Photographers, 4 make up artists, 6 models, and activity committees. Through this Art of Photography Marketing can increase tourism promotion which has an impact on increasing tourist income, as well as increasing the ability of photographers to produce works of photography related to increased tourism. This makes the tourist sites given this program can help more widely for the community and is expected to increase the number of tourist visitors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of digital information services with self-adjustment (independence of character) of students majoring in social studies in obtaining higher education information.This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study was all social studies students of class X. XI, and XII in SMA N 2 Bantul Yogyakarta in 2018/2019 Academic Year, totaling 111 students. Intake by using quota random sampling technique by taking 25% of the number of class XII students that is a number of 35 students. Data collection methods in this study used a validated questionnaire with logical validity. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis.The results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between digital information services and self-adjustment (independence of character) of students majoring in social studies in obtaining higher education information, by knowing the results of the calculation of rx1y = 0.741 with (P) 0,000 kurang dari 0.01, which means there is a positive and significant correlation between digital information services and self-adjustment (independence of character) of students majoring in social studies in obtaining higher education information. Implications in this study, schools should provide an intensive digital information service in accordance with the needs of students, so students will have comprehensive information about several aspects that exist in themselves as well as directions about higher education information services that are expected by students in develop their talents, interests, and potentials, so that they will influence and enhance the attitude of independence of good students.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to improve the photographer's post-processing capabilities based on Photoshop and Nik Color Pro software in optimizing the results of the photos. This workshop method by providing integrated training from exposure to the need for entrepreneurship studies, understanding of the composition of photography, the practice of shooting and training in the use of nik colour pro software in the post-processing process of work through editing. Assistance is also needed in evaluating the results of photography to produce better work. The conclusions of this paper (1) Community service activities can improve the skills of photographers in opening creative economic opportunities. (2) The intensive training system with direct practice in the field, the guidance of shooting techniques, the direct editing practice of the Nik Color Software Effect Pro training turned out to be effectively applied.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh kesiapan dan motivasi terhadap kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas V SD di Kapanewon Wates Kabupaten Kulon Progo dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri di Kapanewon Wates Kabupaten Kulon Progo dengan populasi berjumlah 638. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 245. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah kesiapan belajar dan motivasi belajar, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah kemandirian belajar. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket secara daring. Pengukuran variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 26. Dari nilai koefisien regresi kesiapan belajar (X1), motivasi belajar (X2), dan kemandirian belajar (Y) dapat dibuat persamaan regresi linier berganda sebagai berikut Y = 3,207 + 0,431X1 + 0,772X2. Berdasarkan analisis data statistik pengaruh kesiapan dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar diperoleh koefisien korelasi ganda (R) = 0,801 dan koefisien determinan (R2) = 0,642. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang kuat antara kesiapan dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap kemandirian belajar Peserta Didik Kelas V SD di Kapanewon Wates Kabupaten Kulon Progo dalam pembelajaran daring sebesar 64,2% dan selebihnya 35,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Kata Kunci: Kesiapan, Motivasi, dan Kemandirian Belajar AbstractThis research aims to examine the influence of readiness and motivation on the learning independence of elementary school V students in Kapanewon Wates Kulon Progo Regency in online learning. This research was conducted on students of class V of State Elementary School in Kapanewon Wates Kulon Progo Regency with a population of 638. The sample used was 245. The independent variables in this study are learning readiness and learning motivation, while the dependent variable is learning independence. Data collection in this study using questionnaires online. Variable measurements are carried out using the Likert scale. Data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 26 software. From the value of the learning readiness regression coefficient (X1), learning motivation (X2), and learning independence (Y) can be made double linear regression equations as follows Y = 3.207 + 0.431X1 + 0.772X2. Based on statistical data analysis, the influence of readiness and motivation of learning on learning independence obtained a double correlation coefficient (R) = 0.801 and determinant coefficient (R2) = 0.642. This means that there is a strong influence between the readiness and motivation of learning together on the learning independence of Class V elementary school learners in Kapanewon Wates Kulon Progo Regency in online learning by 64.2% and the remaining 35.8% influenced by other factors. Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dan pemanfaatan media gadget terhadap sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik SD kelas V di Kecamatan Jumo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang sebelumnya telah diujicobakan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji diskriptif statistik, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis (uji t dan uji f). Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif pola asuh orang tua terhadap sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik sebesar 25,3%.Terdapat pengaruh positif pemanfaatan media gadget terhadap sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik sebesar 23,0%. Terdapat pengaruh positif pola asuh orang tua terhadap pemanfaatan media gadget sebesar 18,1%. Terdapat pengaruh positif pola asuh orang tua dan pemanfaatan media gadget secara bersama-sama terhadap sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik SD Kelas V di Kecamatan Jumo sebesar 33,9% dan selebihnya 66,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin baik sikap-sikap pola asuh orang tua yang diberikan pada anaknya maka semakin baik pula sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik. Semakin baik pemanfaatan media gadget yang digunakan peserta didik maka semakin baik pula sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik. Begitu juga semakin baik pola asuh orang tua dan semakin baik pemanfatan media gadget maka semakin baik pula sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik. Sebaliknya semakin buruk pola asuh orang tua dan semakin buruk pemanfaatan media gadget maka semakin buruk sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik.Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Pemanfaatan Media Gadget, Sikap Tanggung Jawab AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out the influence of parenting and the use of gadget media on the attitude of responsibility of class V elementary school students in Jumo District. This type of research is quantitative research with survey methods. The instrument used is a questionnaire that has previously been tested to determine its validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques use statistical disqualified tests, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis tests (t test and f test). The results of the study are that there is a positive influence of parenting on the attitude of student responsibility by 25.3%. There is a positive influence on the use of gadget media on the attitude of responsibility of students by 23.0%. There is a positive influence of parenting on the use of gadget media by 18.1%. There is a positive influence on parenting and the use of gadget media together on the attitude of responsibility of Class V elementary school students in Jumo District by 33.9% and the remaining 66.1% influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that the better the parenting attitudes given to their children, the better the attitude of responsibility of learners. The better the use of gadget media used by students, the better the attitude of responsibility of students. Likewise, the better the parenting of parents and the better the utilization of gadget media, the better the attitude of responsibility of learners. Conversely, the worse the parenting of parents and the worse the use of gadget media, the worse the attitude of responsibility of learners.Keywords: Parenting, Gadget Media Utilization, Attitude of Responsibility

Abstract

This research aims to explore the kinds of rituals done by the society in around Merapi mountain facing volcanic mountain eruption threat in Cangkringan and find educational meaning in the ritual. This research uses qualitative approach, phenomenology. Research informants are Cangkringan society, Merapi mountain caretaker, and Cangkringan figures.  Data collecting technique are participant observation; the researcher involved directly in the ritual. Data then analyzed by using domain, taxonomic, componential, and cultural theme. Research result shows that Cangkringan society in facing Merapi mountain eruption threat is still traditionally by labuhan ritual , laku topo bisu ritual, and sedekah Gunung ritual. These rituals are representation of educational values and local wisdom whose most fundamental objectives are to maintain nature, the values of togetherness, in order and respect to achieve outer and inner harmony.

Abstract

Teachers have a significant contribution to the learning success in schools. In creating conducive school, having good quality and generating graduates with integrity, good teachers’ performance is needed. Good teachers’ performance is affected by several factors including the principal's leadership, work motivation, and school culture. This study aims at analyzing whether there is a relationship between the principal's leadership, work motivation, and school culture with teachers’ performance. This research was conducted on classroom teachers at Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools in Gamping District with a population of 116. The sample used was the total population of 116. The independent variables in this study were the principal's leadership, work motivation, and school culture, while the dependent variable was teachers’ performance. The measurement of the variables was carried out by using a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out by using multiple linear regressions with the help of SPSS 22 software. Based on the simple regression test and multiple linear regressions, the test results show that there is a significant relationship between the independent variables, the principal's leadership, work motivation and school culture on the performance of classroom teachers at Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools in Gamping District. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test show that teachers’ performance (Y) can be explained by the variables of the principal's leadership (X1), work motivation (X2), and school culture (X3) by 65%, while the remaining 35% is affected by other factors outside of this study. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between the principal's leadership, work motivation, and school culture on the performance of classroom teachers in Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools in Gamping Subdistrict.

Abstract

Cangkringan community has a perception that the Merapi eruption is a gift not a threat or danger. This phenomenon can be understood as an attitude of wisdom of Merapi slopes to always be ready to live modestly with nature. This study aims to analyze the incidence of Merapi eruption in 2010 which has killed 347 peoples and found perceptions for readiness to face the threat of Merapi eruption in Cangkringan. This study used a qualitative approach for the perception of cangkringan peoples as preparedness to encounter the threat of Merapi eruption. Informant in this study were the Cangkringan peoples, caretaker of Mount Merapi, officials of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Sleman, Yogyakarta and data collected by observation and in-depth interviews. The collected data were then analyzed by using domain analysis, taxonomic, componential, and the theme of culture. The results showed that Perception built over the years was not to face the threat of Merapi eruption, but gratitude of Cangkringan community to the gift given by Merapi Volcano in the form of extraordinary natural wealth. Community’s perception of preparedness to face the threat of Merapi eruption in the form of advice or messages that contain high phylosophy value is eling lan waspodo. The presence of disasters are not preventable, but casualties can be minimized by preparedness action in facing the threat of Merapi eruption.

Abstract

This research's objectives are to 1) develop a storybook with a picture (comic) as a learning media for Pancasila and Civic Education (PCE) and 2) to evaluate its effectiveness in improving the learning results of grade V elementary school students in learning the values of Pancasila. This is research and development by implementing the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research's subjects are 27 students of V (A), 28 students of V (B) and eight students of V (C) as experiment, control, and limited test classes, respectively. The result of the development found that the product, a book with pictures, is suitable for learning after being evaluated by a media expert and a material expert with evaluations of 99 and 71, respectively. The effectivity evaluation was conducted using a t-test on the experiment and control classes with sig. value of 0.000<0.005. The post-test results from the experiment and control classes are 70.64 and 60.93, respectively, which shows that the experiment class had higher mean results than the control class. The research concluded that the storybook with pictures is effective and suitable for enhancing the students' learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis internalisasi nilai motivasi dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa jarak jauh di UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta dalam menyelesaikan studi di UPBJJ-UT. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter motivasi belajar dan kemandirian mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta untuk menyelesaikan studi mereka. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Manajer UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta, Mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta, dan Keluarga Mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi partisipan dan wawancara mendalam. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik domain dengan pendekatan tipologi umur, jarak rumah, dan pendapatan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan kemandirian dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan perkuliahan. Motivasi dan kemandirian yang tinggi membuat siswa lebih rajin belajar, sebaliknya mahasiswa yang memiliki motivasi dan kemandirian rendah membuat mereka malas untuk belajar. Fnomena yang terjadi di UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta terlihat bahwa motivasi dan kemandirian mahasiswa masih relatif rendah. Secara umum, mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta hanya akan belajar jika mendekati waktu ujian atau jika ada tugas tutorial saja. Rendahnya nilai motivasi dan kemandirian mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta berdampak pada rendahnya daya tahan belajar siswa.Tingkat kelulusan rata-rata mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta menunjukkan bahwa 70% tidak dapat lulus tepat waktu, semakin tinggi motivasi dan kemandirian mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta, maka mahasiswa dapat lulus sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukanHabitual Character Values Motivation and Independence Complete Study at UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta. This study aims to analyze the internalization of the motivation and independence of distance learning at UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta in completing studies at UPBJJ-UT. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyze the values of learning motivation and independence of UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta students to complete their studies. Informants in this study were UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta Managers, UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta Students, and UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta Student Families. Data collection techniques are done by participant observation and in-depth interviews. The data collected was then analyzed using domain techniques with the typology approach of age, home distance, and income. The study shows that motivation and independence are needed by students in completing studies. High motivation and independence make students more diligent in learning, whereas students who have low motivation and independence make them lazy to learn. The phenomena occurring at UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta shows that students' motivation and independence are still relatively low. In general, UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta students will only study if approaching the exam time or if there are tutorial assignments only. The low value of motivation and independence of UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta students has an impact on the low endurance of student learning. The average graduation rate of UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta students shows that 70% cannot graduate on time, the higher the motivation and independence of UPBJJ-UT Yogyakarta students, then students can graduate following the specified time.
