Abstract

This study aims to determine how Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment affect Employee Performance at the Medan Branch of DSociety Start Up Company. This research employed quantitative research techniques. The population used in this research was employees of the DSociety Medan Branch Start Up Company, with a sample size of 31 respondents. Purposive sampling was used in this research. The data was collected using a questionnaire and a Likert rating. The classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, and SPSS hypothesis testing were used in this research. According to the findings of this research, Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment all have an impact on Employee Effectiveness. Based on the findings of the determination test, it was discovered that the Adjusted R Square value of 0,375 or equals 37.5%, implying that there is a direct correlation between the variables of Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment, and Employee Performance. The R Square value of 0,375 (37,5%) on the independent variables Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment has a simultaneous impact of 37,5% on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance, while the rest is affected by other variables not examined by this research.

Abstract

The high demand for food and beverage consumption by the public has become a business opportunity which PT Grab Indonesia has realized by opening the Grabfood service feature, which is an online food and beverage delivery service feature. Grabfood's rapid development cannot be separated from PT Grab Indonesia's ability to attract customers, such as providing a perceived quality experience for customers and providing price discounts to create customer loyalty. This study aims to determine how the effect of perceived quality and price discount on Grabfood customer loyalty in Medan City on the Grab application. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study were Grabfood customers, the sample was determined to be 100 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that perceived quality and price discount have a significant effect on customer loyalty. The results of this study indicate that perceived quality (X1) and price discount (X2) have a significant effect on customer loyalty (Y). Based on the results of the determination test, it is obtained that the Adjusted R Square value is 0.296 (29.6%) the perceived quality and price discount variables simultaneously have an influence of 29.6% on the dependent variable customer loyalty. while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Pochajjang Korean Barbeque is one of the branches of Korean restaurants in Medan City which is currently developing. Based on observations, many responses from customers show that they are uncomfortable and even bad in terms of service and food quality. Consumers doubt the halalness of food ingredients due to several influencing factors such as the cheaper prices than the other restaurants with the same concept. This study aims to determine the influence of halal labels, food quality and service quality on customer satisfaction. This research method uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. A total of 96 respondents as the research sample. The data analysis technique used the IBM SPSS 20. The results showed that the halal label had a significant effect on customer satisfaction; food quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction; and service quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The coefficient value (R) is 0.854, and the R square value is 0.729. This value indicates that the three independent variables, namely halal label, food quality and service quality, simultaneously have an effect of 72.9% on the dependent variable, namely customer satisfaction. While the remaining 27.1% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The current existing condition in Labuhanbatu Regency, where the number and performance of SMEs are not yet competitive enough, especially in the digital market which currently holds significant influence in the buying and selling process of SME products. There is a need for further training related to digital transformation, considering that technology now plays a crucial role in SME development. This research aims to examine the average productivity index of SMEs in Labuhanbatu, the region's potential, and partnership strategies in Labuhanbatu Regency. The study employs average index analysis using a perception measurement scale of 1-7 on 81 SMEs in Labuhanbatu and 8 local government organizations, as well as a SWOT analysis. Based on the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats analysis, SMEs in Labuhanbatu have strengths such as optimized production, adequate local potential, support programs for SMEs, and fairly good SME skills. Weaknesses include limited production support equipment and inadequate marketing networks. Opportunities for SMEs include the growth of SME industries, supportive skills training programs, improved communication, ease of licensing processes, and non-burdensome taxes for businesses. Meanwhile, threats include unstable product prices, inadequate financial support from local government, and insufficient marketing awareness efforts by the local government.

Abstract

Currently, the beauty care industry is experiencing significant sales growth. However, in 2022, the number of monthly web visits to Sociolla decreased. High perceived risk can make consumers hesitant to make purchases. Similarly, online customer reviews can greatly impact consumer confidence. This study aims to determine the effect of online customer reviews and perceived risk on purchasing decisions for Sociolla consumers in Medan city. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The study focused on Sociolla application users in Medan City, with a sample size of 96 respondents selected through non-probability purposive sampling. Primary data was collected through direct distribution of questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained through literature review. The study results suggest that online customer reviews have a significant positive impact on purchasing decisions. The t-count value of 4.478 (>1.985) and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) indicate this. Additionally, perceived risk also has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, with a t-count value of 2.049 (>1.985) and a significance value of 0.043 (<0.05), and a regression coefficient value of 0.134. During simultaneous testing, the variable of online customer reviews and perceived risk have a combined effect with a level of influence of 21.3%. The remaining 78.7% is influenced by factors outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work-life balance and the work environment on employee job satisfaction in the nursing department of Mitra Sejati General Hospital Medan. This study uses an associative research method with a quantitative approach. The study population was 530 staff from Mitra Sejati General Hospital in Medan. Research sample consist of 85 nurses which obtained by purposive sampling. Direct distribution of a Likert-scaled questionnaire is used for data collection. The method of data analysis utilized an instrument test of validity, reliability, a classical assumption test, and a hypothesis test utilizing multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS version 25. Based on the findings of the study, the work-life balance variable has a partial effect on job satisfaction, as indicated by t-statistic 4,447 > t-table 1,633. As indicated by the value of t-statistic 3,242 > t-table 1,633, the work environment variable has a partial effect on job satisfaction. Based on simultaneous testing, work-life balance and work environment has a simultaneous influence on job satisfaction variable with a value of F-statistic 7,277 > F-table 3,11, a R value of 0,588 and an Adjusted R Square value of 33%, while the remaining 67% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Model Inkubasi Wirausaha Mahasiswa USU bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan kewirausahaan berbasis ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek), memperluas jaringan kerja dengan industri dan lembaga terkait, serta mengembangkan model pembinaan wirausaha yang efektif. Pada tahun 2024 ini telah diinkubasi 20 (dua puluh) wirausaha mahasiswa yang terdiri dari:  mahasiswa yang merintis usaha baru sejumlah 5 (lima) orang yang berasal dari 2 (dua) kelompok usaha, mahasiswa dari program USU Pitching sejumlah 13 (tiga  belas)  orang yang berasal dari 6 (enam) kelompok usaha dan 2 orang mahasiswa HIPMI PT yang berasal dari 2 (dua) usaha. Model inkubasi ini dimulai dengan Tahap Pre-Immersion yaitu perekrutan mahasiswa wirausaha, lalu mahasiswa mengikuti pelatihan yaitu Pelatihan Branding dan Marketing Strategi, Pelatihan Business Developmen dan Manajemen Keuangan Bisnis, selanjutnya para mahasiswa wirausaha akan mengikuti magang di PLUT Sumut dan UKM Bobabox (tahap immersion), diakhiri dengan Tahap Post-Immersion yaitu proses business coaching dan mentoring lalu business gathering, kurasi, demoday serta proses terakhir adalah monitoring dan evaluasi program. Luaran dari model inkubasi ini akan menghasilkan wirausaha baru mahasiswa yang mandiri, efektif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh daya tarik iklan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashuon pada mahasiswa pengguna fitur Tiktok Shop di aplikasi Tiktok, menganalisis pengaruh harga produk terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashion pada mahasiswa pengguna fitur Tiktok Shop di aplikasi Tiktok , dan menganalisis pengaruh daya tarik iklan dan harga produk secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashion pada mahasiswa pengguna fitur TikTok Shop di aplikasi Tiktok di kota Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pengguna fitur TikTok Shop di aplikasi Tiktok di kota Medan. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan dari pembagian kuesioner google form, dan data sekunder didapatkan dari buku dan artikel sertapenelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis linear berganda, uji parsial, uji simultan dan uji determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa daya tarik iklan (X1) dan harga produk (X2) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Daya tarik iklan dan harga produk juga berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y).

Abstract

Employee performance improvement is the key to a company's success. This work improvement is influenced by several factors, two of which are the provision of appropriate job descriptions as part of employee engagement and appropriate compensation by the company. However, employees of BRI Branch Office (KCP) Helvetia consider that the company has not provided job descriptions or compensation as they should. This then hinders employee performance improvement. The researcher uses Employee Engagement, Compensation, and Work Improvement as research variables. This study aims not only to solve the problems that occur at BRI KCP Helvetia but also to determine the level of relationship between the three variables and the level of influence of the first two variables on the Work Improvement variable. This study was conducted using a quantitative method with an associative approach. Research data were collected by distributing questionnaires to all employees with support from relevant studies. The data were then analyzed using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis tests. The researcher found that Employee Engagement and Compensation are closely related and have a significant effect on Work Improvement both individually and simultaneously with a level of relationship and influence of 90.2% and 80.1%. The results of the study show that job desk and compensation are two main components that can facilitate the improvement of employee performance at BRI KCP Helvetia.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan aset berharga bagi perusahaan. Namun, permasalahan yang banyak dihadapi oleh perusahaan selalu berkaitan dengan karyawan karena masih banyaknya perusahaan yang kurang memperhatikan dan memperdulikan peningkatan prestasi kerja. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus memikirkan bagaimana cara untuk meningkatkan prestasi kerja agar karyawan tetap mencapai tujuan perusahaan dengan maksimal. Terdapat beberapa cara untuk meningkatkan work performane improvement yaitu incentive giving dan performance productivity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh incentive giving dan performance productivity terhadap work performane improvement pada PTPN IV Medan. Pengaruh incentive giving dan performance productivity tersebut akan dianalisis secara parsial dan secara simultan terhadap work performane improvement. Bentuk penelitan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dan sampel yang dijadikan ada peneitian ini berjumlah 76 responden dengan teknik samping yaitu probability sampling menggunakan rumus slovin. Data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung sedangkan data skunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa variabel incentive giving (X1) dan performance productivity (X2) berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap work performane improvement pada PTPN IV Medan. Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinan didapatkan besarnya hubungan variabel incentive giving (X1) dan performance productivity (X2) terhadap variabel work performane improvement dengan nilai R sebesar 0,898. Melalui nilai adjusted R square juga diketahui bahwa variabel antara incentive giving dan performance productivity berkontribusi sebesar 80,1% terhadap variabel work performane improvement sedangkan sisanya sebesar 19,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.
