Abstract

Flipped classroom merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran di mana isi materi dan keterampilan yang biasanya diajarkan selama sesi kelas disampaikan di luar kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom pada materi stokiometri dalam kuliah kimia dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 35 mahasiswa kelas A di program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Negeri Manado (Unima). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dengan memberikan pretest sebelum proses perkuliahan dan posttest setelah proses perkuliahan dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pretest adalah 49,33, sedangkan pada posttest meningkat menjadi 87,33. Pengujian N-Gain score menunjukkan skor sebesar 77%, yang masuk dalam kategori efektif dan tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model flipped classroom secara efektif dan signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi stokiometri dalam kuliah kimia dasar di program studi pendidikan matematika Unima.

Abstract

The "Tuna Fish Ball Making" training aims to foster entrepreneurial spirit among students. Through this training, students not only gain technical knowledge in producing tuna fish balls but also acquire practical skills that can be applied to independent ventures. Tuna is chosen as the main ingredient because it is rich in nutrients and has significant market potential. This training covers the entire production process, from selecting raw materials and processing techniques to product packaging. Additionally, it includes material on marketing strategies, business management, and market analysis to strengthen students' understanding of the business world. This training is expected to enhance student's skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship and motivate them to create new business opportunities. Consequently, it is hoped that young, creative, and innovative entrepreneurs will emerge, contributing to reducing unemployment and boosting the economy. The results of this training show a significant increase in students' interest and readiness to enter the entrepreneurial world, as well as a better understanding of the importance of innovation and sustainability in business. Overall, this training has a positive impact on shaping the entrepreneurial mentality among students, making them more prepared to face future challenges.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Eceng gondok dapat mengganggu keseimbangan ekosistem air tawar dengan menghambat pertumbuhan tanaman air, mengurangi oksigen dalam air, dan merusak habitat ikan dan makhluk air lainnya. Ini dapat berdampak negatif pada keberlanjutan ekosistem air tawar. Kegiatan ini akan melibatkan Kelompok Pengrajin/UMKM yang ada di Kelurahan Kampung Jawa Tondano. Permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu, Pertumbuhan dari tumbuhan Eichhornia crassipes tak terkendali sehingga menutupi aliran sungai maupun Danau, Akar yang tumbuh kebawah air mengakibatkan pendangkalan Danau dan Sungai sehingga dapat mengurangi debit air yang ditampung, Pertumbuhan yang sangat cepat sehingga mengakibatkan pendangkalan pada danau dan sungai sehingga dapat mengurangi daya tampung air pada Danau maupun sungai, Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pendangkalan sungai dan danau yaitu air mengalir dan memenuhi jalan-jalan pemukiman disekitar danau dan sungai, Menghabat aliran air pada sungai, Menampung sampah yang dibuang masyarakat pada saluran air sungai, Akar dari tumbuhan Eichhornia crassipes membuat keramba ikan yang di budidaya menjadi rusak. Solusi yang akan diberikan dengan mengacu dari permasalahan prioritas adalah sebagai berikut, Membuat mesin untuk mengolah batang dari tumbuhan Eichhornia crassipes pada kegiatan ini teknologi tepat guna yang akan dibuat yaitu Mesin Pemilin Tali, Membuat mesin Pencacah dari akar, daun dan batang yang tidak digunakan untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan pembuatan pupuk organik, Tim pelaksana kegiatan akan membuat website sebagai media pemasaran dan promosi dari produk yang dihasilkan, Tim pelaksana kegiatan akan mengadakan pelatihan khusus dalam mengolah batang dari tumbuhan Eichhornia crassipes, tim pelaksana kegaitan juga akan memberikan pelatihan proses pengolahan akar, daun dan batang yang tidak di gunakan untuk menjadi pupuk organik, Tim juga akan memberikan pelatihan terkait manajemen dan pemasaran secara digital untuk produk yang telah dihasilkan, Tim pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian akan membuat Logo sebagai identitas yang akan digunakan pada hasil produksi. Kata Kunci: Eichhornia Crassipes, UMKM, Website Pemasaran ABSTRACT Water hyacinth or scientifically known as Eichhornia crassipes is a type of aquatic plant that is often found in fresh water in tropical and subtropical areas. This plant is a habitat that grows in fresh water and is home to several Water hyacinth can disrupt the balance of freshwater ecosystems by inhibiting the growth of aquatic plants, reducing oxygen in the water, and damaging the habitat of fish and other aquatic creatures. This can have a negative impact on the sustainability of freshwater ecosystems. This activity will involve the Craftsmen/UMKM Group in the Kampung Jawa Tondano Village. The problems faced are, The growth of Eichhornia crassipes plants is uncontrolled so that it covers the flow of rivers and lakes, The roots that grow underwater cause shallowing of lakes and rivers so that it can reduce the discharge of water that is stored, Very rapid growth causes shallowing of lakes and rivers so that it can reduce the capacity of water in lakes and rivers, The impacts caused by shallowing of rivers and lakes are that water flows and fills residential roads around lakes and rivers, Inhibits the flow of water in rivers, Accommodates waste dumped by the community in river channels, The roots of Eichhornia crassipes plants damage the fish cages that are being cultivated. The solutions that will be provided with reference to the priority problems are as follows, Making a machine to process stems from Eichhornia crassipes plants in this activity, the appropriate technology that will be made is a Rope Twisting Machine, Making a Shredder machine from roots, leaves and stems that are not used to be used as materials for making organic fertilizer, The activity implementation team will create a website as a marketing and promotional media for the products produced, The activity implementation team will hold special training in processing stems from Eichhornia crassipes plants, the activity implementation team will also provide training in the process of processing roots, leaves and stems that are not used to become organic fertilizer, The team will also provide training related to management and digital marketing for the products that have been produced, The service activity implementation team will create a Logo as an identity that will be used on the production results. Keywords: Eichhornia crassipes, UMKM, Marketing website

Abstract

Abstrak : Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Kakas dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis hypermedia dan website sekolah terintegrasi dalam konteks Merdeka Belajar. Pelatihan dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan participatory action research yang mengkombinasikan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi guru dengan rata-rata skor post-test 86,8 (meningkat dari pre-test 61,6), pengembangan website sekolah, serta tingkat kepuasan stakeholder 4,2 dari 5. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui integrasi teknologi dan pendekatan Merdeka Belajar di SD Inpres Kakas.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran inovatif menjadi salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Pelajaran IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang memerlukan model pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pustaka tentang implementasi model pembelajaran inovatif dalam pelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah review literatur dengan menggunakan kata kunci "model pembelajaran inovatif", "pelajaran IPAS", dan "sekolah dasar". Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inovatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi model pembelajaran inovatif, seperti kurangnya sumber daya dan kurangnya pelatihan guru.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a virtual laboratory TikTok-based. The virtual laboratory was designed for basic chemistry 1 labwork. The developed media was created to increase students' critical thinking and science process skills. The methodology of this research used ADDIE model. The virtual laboratory validations to evaluate the content and media were successfully done by two experts on each validation. Based on the validations, the score results were 93,6% for content and 88,1% for media. It means that the virtual laboratory was successfully created and is ready to be used as a teaching-learning source. The practical and effective tests were done in the chemistry education program grade 1 at A and B class. The data collection was through direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Next, the data was analyzed by descriptive statistic method. The research result showed that the Tiktok virtual laboratory was very good, practical, and effective to use in basic chemistry 1 labwork and could increase students' science process and critical thinking skills with an effectiveness percentage of 89,7%.

Abstract

In this research, a lab work module daily life base has been successfully developed in the basic chemistry 1 lab work. This module was created to make practicum implementation easier in the chemistry laboratory due to limited tools and materials. This research aims to assess students' science process skills. The lab work module development process uses the ADDIE model research approach. After that, the validation tests carried out were media experts and material experts, each consisting of two experts, and average validation test scores for material and media experts were found to be 4.67 and 4.54, respectively. These results indicate that the module is suitable for use as a learning resource. The next step was to test its practicality and effectiveness using pretest and posttest instruments, students' score results, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical methods and the results obtained were that the module was suitable and practical for use as a learning resource with a practicality percentage of 89.47%. Furthermore, the student's learning completion results were 100% and the N-Gain value was 0.71, which proves that the module created is effective. In conclusion, the product that has been developed is successful in improving students' science process skills.

Abstract

Liquid smoke has been widely applied in various fields. Several studies have developed methods, tools and materials for making liquid smoke. This research aims to design a tool for making liquid smoke using a simple pyrolysis method on a laboratory scale. The goal is that this tool can be used by students for practicums to further increase students' insight and skills regarding liquid smoke. The stages of this research start from literature study, technology design, tool fabrication and testing as well as the evaluation stage. The results obtained in this research are that a liquid smoke pyrolysis device has been successfully made with a capacity of 6 kg. Based on the test results, grade 3 liquid smoke was produced.

Abstract

Background/problems: Biodiesel from animal fats is vulnerable to metal-catalyzed oxidation that degrades fuel quality because of the unsaturated fatty acid content. This study investigates the oxidative stability and physicochemical changes of chicken fat and its biodiesel upon FeCl₃-catalyzed oxidation. Methods: Chicken fat was transesterified to produce biodiesel; chicken fat (CF) and chicken-fat biodiesel (CF-BD) were then subjected to an FeCl₃ oxidative condition. Acid value (AV), iodine value (IV), peroxide value (PV), kinematic viscosity at 40 °C, and density were determined using standard titrimetric and physical methods; FTIR assessed spectral changes. ANOVA compared group means. Findings: Oxidation significantly increased AV and PV for both matrices, with a marked PV rise in CF-BD (6.17 ± 0.29 to 88.17 ± 5.35 meq/kg), and decreased IV (CF-BD 84.3 ± 4.51 to 48.7 ± 4.32 g I₂/100 g). Viscosity and density increased modestly. Visually, CF-BD shifted from clear yellow-green to brown and turbid with sediment, consistent with polymer formation and methyl-ester degradation. FTIR showed attenuation/shift of ester carbonyl and aliphatic bands. Conclusion: FeCl₃-induced oxidation measurably deteriorates CF-BD quality, breaching key limits in ASTM/SNI for acid value and viscosity. Impact: Results underscore the need to control trace metals and apply antioxidant/metal-deactivator strategies in storage and distribution, and validate the FeCl₃ assay as a practical accelerated-degradation model for stability and additive screening.
