Abstract

The problems of this service are; 1) The process of guidance services to students in junior high schools in Palu City is not yet optimal; 2) Junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Palu City who have not fully optimized the role of peer counselors in providing guidance services to students. The purpose of this service is to improve the understanding, skills, and abilities of junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Palu City in carrying out services at school. The subjects of this service are junior high school counseling teachers who are members of the Consultation of Guidance and Counseling Teachers (MGBK) in PALU City. The stages of implementing this service through socialization and mentoring. The achievement of this service is that teachers can apply, optimize and carry out the implementation of peer counselors for students in the process of guidance and counseling services at school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher social support on students’ academic hardiness at SMPN 2 Sindue Tobata. The research employed a descriptive, quantitative approach with saturated sampling, involving all 108 students enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires on teacher social support and academic hardiness, both of which demonstrated good reliability (α = 0.944 and α = 0.780). Data analysis employed descriptive statistics and simple linear regression using SPSS version 27. The findings revealed that 95.4% of students perceived high levels of teacher social support, and 71.3% exhibited very high academic hardiness. Regression results indicated a positive and significant influence of teacher social support on academic hardiness (t = 3.885, p < 0.05), with a regression coefficient of 0.460. These results suggest that increased social support from teachers enhances students’ ability to manage academic stress, remain committed, and view learning challenges as opportunities for growth. The study underscores the importance of strengthening teacher–student relationships to foster resilience and motivation in learning environments.

Abstract

The Impactful Internship Program is an experiential learning initiative designed to enhance students' professional competencies through direct engagement in authentic workplace settings. For students enrolled in Guidance and Counseling programs, implementing classroom guidance services in schools is a fundamental professional competency. However, in practice, students often encounter challenges, including limited skills in developing guidance service plans, managing classrooms, utilizing instructional media, and establishing effective communication with students. Therefore, this community service project aimed to mentor university students in planning, implementing, and evaluating classroom guidance services in schools through the Impactful Internship Program. The program employed a participatory and collaborative approach involving university supervisors, school guidance and counseling teachers, and student interns. The mentoring process consisted of needs assessment, pre-service training, assistance in developing Guidance Service Implementation Plans (GSIPs), support during classroom guidance implementation, observation, supervision, reflection, and evaluation. The results indicated that the mentoring program significantly improved students' competencies in preparing guidance service plans, developing instructional media, managing classroom activities, enhancing communication skills, and conducting more systematic service evaluations. In addition to benefiting student interns, the program strengthened collaboration between the university and partner schools in improving the quality of school guidance and counseling services. These findings suggest that the mentoring model implemented through the Impactful Internship Program represents a promising practice for strengthening the professional competencies of prospective guidance and counseling teachers while supporting the continuous improvement of guidance and counseling services in schools.   Abstrak. Program Magang Berdampak merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam dunia kerja profesional. Bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling, pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan klasikal di sekolah menjadi salah satu kompetensi yang harus dikuasai, namun dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan dalam menyusun perangkat layanan, mengelola kelas, memanfaatkan media pembelajaran, serta membangun komunikasi yang efektif dengan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi mahasiswa dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi layanan bimbingan klasikal di sekolah melalui Program Magang Berdampak. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif dengan melibatkan dosen pembimbing, guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta mahasiswa peserta magang. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pembekalan, pendampingan penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Layanan (RPL), pendampingan implementasi layanan bimbingan klasikal, observasi, supervisi, refleksi, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam menyusun perangkat layanan, mengembangkan media bimbingan, mengelola kelas, meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, serta melaksanakan evaluasi layanan secara lebih sistematis. Selain memberikan manfaat bagi mahasiswa, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah mitra dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Dengan demikian, model pendampingan melalui Program Magang Berdampak dapat menjadi salah satu praktik baik dalam penguatan kompetensi profesional calon guru bimbingan dan konseling sekaligus mendukung peningkatan mutu layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah.

Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between listening K-Pop music consumption and levels of Self-Love and mental health among students in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, class of 2021, at Tadulako University. The research participants consisted of 146 students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, a 2021 batch, who actively listened to K-Pop music. Data collection employed adapted questionnaire instruments: a listening K-Pop music consumption questionnaire, a Self-Love scale, and a mental health assessment scale. The research employed a quantitative research methodology with a causal-associative design, utilizing correlation analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The Pearson Product-Moment correlation analysis yielded the following results: The correlation between BTS music consumption (Variable X) and Self-Love (Variable Y1) had a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.483, which is greater than 0.05. Similarly, the correlation between listening K-Pop music consumption (Variable X) and mental health (Variable Y2) yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.877, which is greater than 0.05. Based on these statistical findings, both relationships demonstrate non-significant correlations. For the BTS music and Self-Love variables, the significance value (2-tailed) exceeds 0.05, leading to the rejection of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). which means there is no relationship between listening K-Pop music and Self-Love and mental health____________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop dengan Self-Love dan kesehatan mental mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan angkatan 2021, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan angkatan 2021 Universitas Tadulako yang mendengarkan intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop. Jumlah subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 146 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner adaptasi yaitu kuesioner intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop, skala Self-Love, dan skala kesehatan mental. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal menggunakan analisis korelasi. Hasil dari uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson terhadap variabel X dengan variabel Y1 diketahui nilai variabel intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop dengan variabel Self-Love signifikan (2-tailed) 0,483 > 0,05. Pada variabel X dengan variabel Y2 diketahui nilai variabel intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop dengan variabel kesehatan mental signifikan (2-tailed) 0,877 > 0,05. Maka Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak yang artinya tidak ada hubungan intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop dengan Self-Love. Pada variabel intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop dengan kesehatan mental hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan (2-tailed) > 0,05 maka Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak yang artinya tidak ada hubungan intensitas mendengarkan musik K-Pop dengan Self-Love dan kesehatan mental.
