Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak positif dan negatif media digital dalam kehidupan manusia modern melalui pendekatan filsafat. Perkembangan media digital telah mengubah secara fundamental cara manusia memperoleh informasi, berkomunikasi, dan menjalin relasi sosial. Namun, kemajuan ini juga menimbulkan persoalan mendalam terkait aspek eksistensial, realitas, dan etika. Dengan merujuk pada pemikiran para filsuf seperti René Descartes, Immanuel Kant, Martin Heidegger, dan Jean Baudrillard, penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh media digital terhadap epistemologi, aksiologi, serta memunculkan kritik terhadap fenomena alienasi dan realitas semu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, di mana data diperoleh dari literatur filsafat, teori media, dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memperluas akses terhadap pengetahuan, membentuk interaksi sosial yang lebih inklusif, serta mendorong terbentuknya nilai-nilai baru yang lebih terbuka dan toleran. Di sisi lain, media digital juga berpotensi menimbulkan alienasi eksistensial serta menciptakan realitas palsu yang menyulitkan individu membedakan antara fakta dan ilusi. Dari perspektif etika, media digital dapat menjadi sarana penyebaran hoaks dan ujaran kebencian yang mengancam tatanan sosial dan moralitas bersama. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kesadaran kritis dan pengelolaan yang bijak agar media digital dapat berfungsi secara konstruktif dalam pembangunan peradaban manusia.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to reveal the importance of comprehensive values and character education by teachers. Education plays a significant role in shaping students as whole human beings, which is why values and character education is not merely about making students behave well or obey existing moral values. Rather, it is about enabling students to express their character, which develops through the integration of their thoughts, feelings, desires, and actions. This process is achieved through the internalization of values and character, so that all dimensions of humanity can grow and be shaped into well-rounded individuals. Meanwhile, the context (needs) of this study is to answer the problems caused by the crisis of values as expressed by Wawan Wardiana from the Integrity Assessment Survey. To achieve the objectives in this context, teachers in the Nusantara Learning Community (KGBN) in Banyumas Regency need to receive values education training through a process of internalization using the value transmission method. To achieve the desired results, a qualitative case study research method was used. The results of this study can improve the understanding and competence of KGBN teachers in conducting values and character education through the internalization of values and character by means of value transmission.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of understanding and meaning in communication from the viewpoint of Hans-Georg Gadamer. It focuses on hermeneutics, which is the skill of accurately comprehending the message transmitted by another person via language. According to Gadamer, hermeneutics is seen as a method of interpretative comprehension that is used to bring out an interpretation of the communicated message. This research emphasizes the significance of comprehending in hermeneutics for the interpretation of the current state of affairs. This research further investigates the impact of Gadamer's perspective on the concept of meaning and comprehension within the realm of communication.
