Abstract

Software cost estimation is an important part of an information technology project for budgeting. In the process of determining the price of a system CV. The Profile Image Studio does not use the scientific standard format or is commonly called parametric, they only use the guesstimate method. It is only estimates based on intuition. Based on this case, the cost estimation in this study will implement Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model Based on Use Case Point method is implemented in calculating software costs as suggestion for CV. Profile Image Studio. Cost estimates can be obtained after obtaining estimated effort, number of human resources and estimated system development time. Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) Based on Use Case Point method is implemented in 2 systems that have been developed by CV. Studio Profile Image. At the end of this study, the cost comparison of system development was done by comparing estimated cost results obtained using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model based on the Use Case Point with the allocation of costs incurred by CV. Studio Profile Image. The results of applying the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model Based on the Use Case Point method in calculating software costs, it was found that the total estimated cost of the DBA ticket system was Rp. 17,703,140 carried out by 12 people in 1247.46 hours while the pintu air system was Rp. 6,436,860 carried out by 12 people in 453.6 hours.

Abstract

Malang, one of the regions in East Java that contributes the highest number of migrant workers in Indonesia can be an advantage for the Argaraya Medika Clinic in developing business and labor inspection services. However, the large number of patients who register for the health check-up of workers every hour of service makes it difficult for officers to handle the inspection files and queue of patients. The registration process of patients that takes a long time because it is done twice on the frontoffice and polyclinic causes the length of the queue. Another problem that is faced is the easy loss of the old data checking and data recording form files. Based on these problems the solution that can be applied is to develop an information system for labor inspection services that can help the patient registration process, check the inspection work, store inspection data, and help the recording of inspection data. The system was developed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with the stages of inception, elaboration, construction, and transition phases. The labor health inspection service information system has been implemented with the results of validation testing to test the system's functionalities with 100% valid results and compability testing to test non-functional requirements resulting in 2 critical issues in 2 browser applications. User Acceptance testing is carried out with seven correspondents from each user indicating that the information system of labor inspection services is well received by the user.

Abstract

Injers (Indonesia Jersey) Malang is a garment / clothing business UKM built by PT. Askes (Persero) East Java Regional VII, which is engaged in Malang local sports equipment apparel. But the problem in terms of ordering goods is still often experienced, namely the process carried out still manually makes the production party must wait for the data manually too. The growing age has an impact on the increasingly tight business competition using technology, this has triggered the Malang Injers to build a system of ordering goods information in order to suppress the problems experienced. To build an information system there is a concept that is made for the basis of system development, namely Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). One SDLC framework is Use Case Driven Object Modeling with UML or commonly called ICONIX process. ICONIX process consists of 6 processes, namely requirements, analysts / preliminary designs, preliminary design reviews, detailed design, critical design review and implementation. This study explains how to build the system needed by Malang Injers at the stage of analyzing needs and designing the system using ICONIX process until the evaluation stage. The evaluation used is consistency analysis and correctness. In the consistency analysis test results in the percentage of RCI (Requirement Consistency Index) of 100%, while the correctness test produces a category of “correctness”.

Abstract

Sumput Village is located in Sidoarjo City with a large population, so that there is often a demand for public services. One of the public services is the public service request for government letters, this service is still done conventionally / manually. The negative impact are, unregulated service, takes a long time, allows the occurrence of errors (writing data), not well documented datas (data lost / damaged). Many villagers find it difficult to administer these important documents. In order to improve public services for the better, information systems are needed to overcome these problems. The development of this information system uses the Waterfall Model method, which is a systematic approach to software development. The Waterfall Model is used because the business process regarding the service for requesting government letters manually has been determined by the village hall agency. The output of this research is the government mail service information system by applying 4 main stages, namely requirements analysis and definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, and integration and system testing. After developing a government mail service information system functional and nonfunctional testing was carried out. Functional testing in the form of validation test with 93% results and nonfunctional testing in the form of browser compatibility using sortsite software with results found 2 critical issues and 1 major issues. Then it can be concluded that this information system is feasible to use.

Abstract

SD Negeri Prigen 1 is a basic education institution located in Pasuruan Regency. SD Negeri Prigen 1 has human resource covering a teacher. Teacher must be improve their abilities and skills in appliying the competencies needed in the learning process. Teacher performance assesment is needed to identify the teacher's ability to carry out his duties through the measurement of the competency mastery shown. Teacher performance assesment at SD Negeri Prigen 1 still has a number of problems that can interfere the process of teacher performance asessment such as still using conventional system, that is a difficult calculation process, make a report and recapitulation. An information system is needed to solve these problems. In developing this system using the RUP method because in order to balance between the needs and priorities of stakeholders and system requirements that are not clear. The teacher assessment information system produces a number of 19 features. Black box testing successfully tested 43 items of validation tests that were valid, while compatibility testing resulted in several minor and major issues in some browsers. UAT gets the final result of 90% or strongly agrees to be accepted by the user. Therefore, the existence of an information system evaluating the performance of teachers can solve problems such as the process of evaluating teacher performance more quickly, efficiently and simplify the process of making reports.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University is one of the faculty which has enormous students and lecturers with various activities. Some cases of student's activities must be involved lecturers such as sending message to make an appointment, hence problems arise, students frequently don't get any feedback from lecturer. Based on these problems, information system development is implemented to help and use by lecturer and student. The development process is performed by using Rational Unified Process (RUP) development metho, which its dynamic and iterative, thus can be make it easy to develop information system.. First, the inception phase, bussines process analysis focused on schedule arrangement, make an appointment, and rescheduling. Second, the elaboration phase, the result of user requirements analysis are 14 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement to support main functional. Third, the construction phase is carried out, the black-box testing was done through 28 test cases. The conclusion is system can be running successfully. Compatibility testing was done and the result is it can be running on 6 different browsers without issues. The last phase is transition, the user acceptance test (UAT) was done on each actor (both lecturers and students) with the results of 100% acceptance rate for lecturers and 82,86% for students. It can be concluded that all actors are very consent with the scheduling information system functionality that has been developed. Through these development, it generate an information sytem that facilitate lecturers to setup availability, rescheduling, cancellation of appointment, and students will able to make an appointment based on lecturer's availability.

Abstract

There are a number of problems encountered by companies related to project work, the problem about triple constraints on the project, namely time, cost and scope of the project. Calculation of time estimates that have not been standardized properly makes the project cost load can be over-estimated or under-estimated. The application of scientific method, namely Use Case Point (UCP) can be used as one of the standardization calculations for a project's time estimation, this is the purpose this study with the object Sistem Konstruksi Tiang on PT. PLN (Persero) Area Malang , therefore in this study scheduling uses Gantt Chart which refers to the Work Breakdown Structure or WBS. In this study using the UCP method resulted in an estimated time of 411.04 hours and estimated costs of Rp20,383,062.50.

Abstract

Fresh Food Indo is a company engaged in livestock agribusiness. There are several problems that affect a company's performance, one of which is the recording of goods data is still done by writing it on paper. Therefore, an effective and efficient product management information system is needed to be able to improve business processes at PT. Fresh Food Indo. The research method use Rational Unified Process (RUP). In the inception phase, it do as-is modeling and proposed business process modeling (to-be). The results of the analysis of business processes as-is obtained sales business processes and addition of goods and for the results of to-be analysis obtained sales business processes, addition of goods, and return of damaged goods. In the elaboration phase, requirements analysis and system design were carried out which produced 26 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. In the construction phase is to implement and test the system. System implementation produces a web-based Product Management Information System. Validation testing does 17 tests with all valid results. Compatibility testing produces a product management system that has no problems. The last phase is the transition phase where this phase is tested by User Acceptance Testing (UAT). UAT results on the five respondents included the criteria of "Strongly Agree", so it can be concluded that the five users strongly agree with the existence of a product management information system.

Abstract

Malang State Vocational High School 2 every year carries out industrial work practices (internship). In the internship activities, the school has difficulty, because the industrial work practice data management process was managed manually. This resulted in several difficulties, one of which was in the registration of apprenticeship, the head of the department had difficulty recording data for all students who enroll in apprenticeship, because the head of the department needed to visit classes according to his department to provide a list of Business / Industrial World that can be chosen by students., then the head of the department needs to record the data of the students and where students want to carry out internship. Based on these problems, a web-based Prakerin Information System was built. In the system development process, the SDLC method will be used is V-model. The results of the requirements analysis are strongly approved by the user, evidenced by the results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), with a system that can run in accordance with the expected system functionality as evidenced by system testing. The system is implemented using the PHP programming language and MySQL database management system. Implementation of the system is in accordance with the results of the design made, because the results of unit testing are all sample functions in accordance with the flow of design sequence diagrams and the system has a well structured and written code, high testability, and less cost and effort, then integration testing produces a valid percentage of 100% which means the system has been well integrated.

Abstract

Institute of Research and Community Services (LPPM) Brawijaya University is a unit that carries out the main tasks and functions of Brawijaya University in the sector of research and community service. In carrying out their duties, LPPM leaders are assisted by a secretary. The several tasks of the secretary are events scheduling, loan room scheduling, and leader's appointment scheduling. During this time the task is still done manually, now the solution that is applied is still using excel files and google calendar service, so there is no integration between one data with the other data, while the three scheduling data have relationship with each other. Based on these problems the frontdesk application was made which can be used by secretary and receptionist of LPPM to serve event scheduling, loan room scheduling, and leaders appointment scheduling. Furthermore, to test the implementation result of the making event schedule, making loan room schedule, and making leaders appointment function, validation and user acceptance testing were performed. From the testing phase, the result obtained 74.88% which indicates thet the application built can help users in recording scheduling data and also the application can be accepted and approved by the user.
