Abstract

Projects are activities that are intended to produce products or services. In processing on the project, a management process is needed to complete the project. In software projects, there are several project management method one of which is Agile Project Management (APM) with Scrum framework. APM method are suitable for use in dynamic projects environments because of those high adaptability. Debox Indonesia company enganged in the field of software development also use APM methods to manage the project. The number of projects received makes Debox Indonesia often difficult to manage, because this company that only using Google Spreadsheets to manage their own project. So that information about project management and reporting becomes inaccurate. This research will implement a mobile-based system for project management based on the Agile Project Management Methodology with the Scrum framework and can also do project scrumming, reporting, and collaboration between employee. The system was built based on waterfall modeling and developed using React Native framework with javascript programming language and using GraphQL as middleware. Implementation of the system produces an information system that facilitates the project management process because every activity is recorded in the system. This research resulted in 67 functional and 1 nonfunctional requirement. During testing phase, the system was successfully tested with all valid results for all test cases, and mobile compatibility testing can be run on 6 different devices.

Abstract

Software house handles a variety of software projects to meet client demands and solve various problems. A project can be led by a project manager. Project managers can have the task of making schedules, monitoring project work, assigning tasks to workers and reporting results of work project. During project work, the project leader can't observe daily work from project workers. In addition, the requirement or features of the client may change or increase, resulting in increased time spent on the project and the workload becomes larger. From these problems making a project management system using Scrum is the solution provided. Scrum is an Iterative and Incremental framework because of its successive and gradual development in terms of features for developing object-oriented software. In this study, development method uses Rapid Application Development and is built on Android platform. Testing on this system uses validation testing, unit testing, and compatibility testing. In unit test obtained 13 test cases with valid status. Whereas for validation testing there were 61 test cases with all test cases having valid status. And compatibility test state that the system can operate well on android lollipop until nougat.

Abstract

Canary or Serinus Canaria is a very popular bird in Indonesia and was first discovered in Spain. Walnuts have a distinctive feather color and sweet chirp. Many canary breeders do not have specific knowledge about livestock management and only depend on personal experience. Caring for canaries can be a promising business opportunity but many people do not realize the importance of identifying and recording breeding birds so that breeders can see information about bird data clearly and accurately. In addition, all records regarding bird data and financial reports are still done manually so that they are prone to errors or human errors. Based on the description of the problem above, a solution is given, which is to develop an information system to help the management of canaries using web technology, namely MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, and NodeJS). The developed system has the main feature to collect data on canary breeding and all financial activities during the cultivation process. This research uses the waterfall model development method with an object approach. The information system runs on a web platform so that it is tested for usability and compatibility to find out how easy the system is to use and recommendations for a suitable web browser for the system. Usability test results produce 74.5% which can be categorized as "Good". Besides compatibility testing is 100% valid.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the current era of globalization has a big influence on the world of research. Where research is an activity carried out by researchers of the object of discussion using methods that are appropriate to the scientific field, which obtains results with specific goals and intentions. It is proven by the number of universities in Indonesia competing to publish their research results, one of which is the Faculty of Computer Science which manages several scientific journal publication portals, namely the Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science (JTIIK) and the Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science Development (JPTIIK) . This portal serves as a place to publish research results from students or lecturers. In conducting research, researchers sometimes exchange information, debate or collaborate with other researchers. Although there are many platforms that provide a place to exchange information and knowledge in conducting research, the Faculty of Computer Science is deemed necessary to have a place to collaborate with fellow researchers which is certainly supported by the existing portal system for publishing scientific journals. In this study the authors designed a collaborative application research system that aims to establish communication between teachers, students or researchers at the Faculty of Computer Science. The author uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which is implemented with the Codeigniter framework in the system development process. Then the white box and black box methods are tested to ensure the system runs properly as needed. Browser Compatibility Test which aims to ensure the system can run on multiple web browsers.

Abstract

Based on studies conducted by Google and Temasek in 2018, Indonesia has great digital economic potential. This will be very good if business people in Indonesia can exploit this potential. But businesses in Indonesia which are dominated by small and medium scale entrepreneurs (MSMEs) will have some problems if they have to develop their own business websites. To overcome the following problem, an e-commerce landing page portal website was developed. With so much data being processed and transferred between servers and clients, the system will be developed using a single-page application pattern. The system will be developed with a prototyping model in the development process. The system interface was developed with the ReactJS library and on the server using NodeJS and Express framework. Communication between server and client is done with JSON. The results of the study found that there were 3 actors, 41 functional needs, and 3 non-functional needs. System testing is done by white-box and black-box testing. The results of testing each need found 100% valid.

Abstract

Law is rules in written or unwritten form, which are arraned into a system that determines what can and cannot be done by humans in social life. To protect an prevent misuses of the law, we need someone who understands the problem that exist whithin the scope of the law, namely lawyers. Before determining the suitability of our cases with a lawyer, a consultation is needed about the case we are facing. Today many people need lawyers but to get it is difficult, which one is the mismatch between lawyer and client. To find out whether a lawyer is suitable or not with a client, first the client must consult with the lawyer. To facilitate the search and consultation of lawyers, a system is provided that can be used to consult and search for lawyers. The process for developing this research is using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with an Object-Oriented (OO) approach and website-based. Abstract

An event must be adapted so that it still can be held on a pandemic situation. Because it involves many people, the implementation of events during a pandemic must be done using online media to avoid direct physical contact. Therefore the process of managing an event must also be done using online media. Generally, the documentation of managerial process on an events is not done centrally or under the same roof, including assignments to each organizing committee. This can cause problems if there is miscommunication between parties, causing delays in the managerial event process. Especially when using online media. Therefore, a web-based event management information system was developed to help resolve these problems. This research was developed using the waterfall method because it is easy and suitable for building generic systems. The system developed has 77 functional requirements and 3 types of actors. This system is written on a web platform, using the JavaScript programming language and the help of the ReactJS library. Then MongoDB is used as a database service provider and is linked to the system using GraphQL. The testing phase was carried out using the white box and black box methods for the functional systems which all passed the test.

Abstract

There have been many bicycle communities that have sprung up in Indonesia. Every community has its own way of communicating. Smartphones and social media were chosen as communication tools that are widely used by community members as a forum for communicating, exchanging information and ideas. However, of the many social media that have been developed, there are problems that arise in their use, such as incomplete and inaccurate information obtained by community members. This is due to the mixing between knowledge information and communication information. In addition, there is no social media available on the Android platform which specifically only discusses the topic of bicycles. To overcome this, an Android-based bicycle community forum system was developed, with main features, such as community creation and post creation. Rapid Application Development was chosen as the method used in this research because it is able to accelerate system development and provide product results in accordance with stakeholder needs. System testing is carried out using white box testing and black box testing techniques. Each technique shows good results, in the form of input-out flow of three function program code verified correctly, and the entire system functionality is stated as one hundred percent valid, which means no failed functionality..

Abstract

Latansa Textile is one of the textile shops established in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The shop manages its sales transaction as a business report with a manual book and hand-writing. Hence, the transaction notes might be piled up. Delay of re-stock also occurred since the shop has never recorded the material stock, and it causes failure to comply with textile buyers' demand. To overcome the problem, a web-based sales system was developed to facilitate the process of transaction management. Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and Object-Oriented Programming methods were employed to develop the system. It was developed with Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the programming language and Codeigniter as the framework. Unit testing and integration testing employed the white-box method, while validation testing employed the black-box method. Results of the unit testing and integration testing show that the system runs as designed. The result of validation testing shows that the system fulfills all the functional requirements. Thus, all the testing show 100% validity, and the system is ready to use.

Abstract

UBCOFFEE is a coffee restaurant that has many variation of menus. Varitation of menus in a restaurant has a significant influence to consumer purchasing decision index. The more variety of menus available in a restaurant, the more the the restaurant needs efficiency in management of order and payment data. The restaurant needs a system that can support performance efficiency in logistic and order management. This application system will be built with Waterfall method of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) so that the system maintains quality during the development and maintenance process. The application system will be built with Flutter framework to make system more practical and executable by various platforms. This research begins with system design, then implemented into a program code that will be tested through white-box testing and usability testing by selected samples of testerwith System Usabilty Scale (SUS) as a standard. The test results of the system show that the logistics and order management system at UBCOFFEE has a usability scale with 72.63 points from the minimum point limit 68 in a scale between 1 and 100. It can be concluded that the system has met the usability standard.
