Abstract

Penerapan teknologi pada media pembelajaran di sekolah masih rendah. Rendahnya penerapan teknologi pada media pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari bagaimana pengalaman belajar yang terjadi di dalam kelas. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang disebut Research and Development dengan menerapkan model 4-D (four-D) Thiagarajan, yang terdiri atas 4 langkah, yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Dessiminate. Namun peneliti mengubah model 4-D menjadi 3-D, agar menghemat waktu dan biaya dalam proses penelitian. Melalui hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 1) dibutuhkan pengembangan produk pendidikan berupa modul digital interaktif materi aritmatika sosial. Penelitian ini menghasilkan modul digital interaktif aritmatika sosial yang terdiri dari halaman cover, halaman petunjuk, halaman KD-KI, halaman materi, halaman evaluasi, halaman profil dan 2) pengembangan Modul Digital Interaktif Materi Aritmatika Sosial di Kelas VII SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 49 Medan memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan dengan persentase sebesar 88% untuk guru dan sebesar 84% untuk siswa, maka dikategorikan kriteria “sangat praktis” sehingga produk pendidikan modul digital interaktif sangat praktis, sangat mudah untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. ABSTRACT The application of technology to learning media in schools is still low. The low application of technology in learning media can be seen from how the learning experience occurs in the classroom. The research and development method are called Research and Development by applying the Thiagarajan 4-D (four-D) model, which consists of 4 steps, namely Define, Design, Develop and Dessiminate. However, researchers changed the 4-D model to 3-D, in order to save time and money in the research process. Through the results of the research, it was obtained that 1) the development of educational products in the form of interactive digital modules of social arithmetic materials is needed. This research produced an interactive digital module of social arithmetic consisting of a cover page, instruction page, KD-KI page, material page, evaluation page, profile page and 2) the development of an Interactive Digital Module of Social Arithmetic Material in Class VII of Muhammadiyah 49 Private Junior High School Medan meets the criteria of practicality with a percentage of 88% for teachers and 84% for students, so it is categorized as a "very practical” criterion so that the educational products of the interactive digital module very practical, very easy to use in the learning process.

Abstract

Introduction: Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the highest cause of death due to non-communicable diseases in Indonesia. This condition is certainly very worrying, because the trend of NCDs is increasing followed by a shift in disease patterns, where previously NCDs were experienced by the elderly group, are now starting to threaten younger age groups. Public awareness of NCD risk factors needs to be increased. This requires community participation in PTM (penyakit tidak menular) integrated development activities (Posbindu). Posbindu PTM is an activity for early detection and monitoring of the main risk factors for PTM through community participation. The aim of this activity is cadre training and the establishment of a mesque-based Posbindu PTM. Methods: The method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The ABCD method is a service method that focuses on the strengths and capacities of local communities. The establishment of the PTM Posbindu was carried out at the Aisyah Abdul Latif Farah Mosque, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency. There were 10 cadres recruited at Posbindu PTM Mosque. Results: The results of the establishment of the mask-based PTM Posbindu are expected to be able to detect PTM risk factors as early as possible and reduce the number of PTM congregants at mosques in particular and society in general. Conclusion: The socialization and formation of the mosque-based Posbindu PTM received positive support from the Deli Serdang Health Service and the Aisyah Abdul Latif Farah Mosque.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where the growth of children under five is hampered due to a continuous lack of nutritional intake, which results in their height not being appropriate for their age. The short-term impact of stunting is increased morbidity and mortality rates, impaired growth, and increased burden of care and treatment costs. This study aimed to analyze about the nutritional value contained in avocado seed flour nuggets with chicken, catfish, and shrimp variants, especially the protein and calcium content. This study uses two research methods, namely descriptive and experimental methods. The aim of the descriptive method in this research was to explain the results of the nutritional content in avocado seed flour nuggets. The experimental method used in this research was to determine the nutritional content of protein and calcium in avocado seed flour at the Medan Center for Standardization and Industrial Services Laboratory using the Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) method, referring to the SNI 01-2891-1992 procedure. Laboratory tests revealed the highest protein content in the chicken variant at 11.1%, followed by the shrimp variant at 10.3%, and the catfish variant at 9.57%. Meanwhile, the highest calcium (Ca) content was found in the catfish variant at 408 mg/kg, shrimp at 227 mg/kg, and chicken at 45.3 mg/kg.. Based on the results of nutritional content testing at the Medan Research and Standardization Center, the amount of protein and calcium content of avocado seed flour nuggets can meet 20% of the protein and calcium needs of toddlers.

Abstract

Pisang kepok (Musa paradisiaca L.) menjadi komoditas unggulan Indonesia yang memiliki nilai ekonomi dan gizi tinggi. Namun, perbanyakan bibit secara konvensional seringkali lambat dan rentan terhadap penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT) IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) dan BAP (Benzylaminopurine) serta penambahan air kelapa terhadap induksi tunas pisang kepok secara in vitro. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non-faktorial dengan empat perlakuan: A1 (MS + IBA 2 mg/L + BAP 3 mg/L), A2 (MS + IBA 3 mg/L + BAP 2 mg/L), B1 (MS + IBA 2 mg/L + BAP 3 mg/L + Air Kelapa 15%), dan B2 (MS + IBA 3 mg/L + BAP 2 mg/L + Air Kelapa 15%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap waktu muncul tunas, tinggi tunas, diameter tunas, jumlah daun, dan bobot basah eksplan. Perlakuan B1 merupakan media yang paling optimal untuk menginduksi jumlah tunas terbanyak (1,67 tunas), tinggi tunas tertinggi (3,32 cm), diameter tunas terbesar (1,42 cm), dan jumlah daun terbanyak (2,11 daun). Secara keseluruhan, kombinasi sitokinin yang lebih tinggi (BAP 3 mg/L) dibandingkan auksin (IBA 2 mg/L) didukung oleh penambahan air kelapa 15% memberikan hasil pertumbuhan  lebih stabil dan optimal pada fase induksi tunas pisang kepok.
