Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1). Untuk mengetahui awal munculnya Kampoeng Batara. 2). Untuk mengetahui perekonomian masyarakat di Lingkungan Papring sebelum adanya Kampoeng Batara dan setelah adanya Kampoeng Batara. 3). Untuk mengetahui upaya Kampoeng Batara dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Papring. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi (observasi), teknik wawancara (interview) dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kualitatif menggunakan sampel total atau populasi sebagai obyek dari Kampoeng Batara. Dari hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1). Kampoeng Batara (Kampoeng Baca Taman Rimba) merupakan tempat edukasi bagi masyarakat Papring. Berdiri pada tanggal 10 Oktober 2015. Awal mulai berdirinya kegiatan yang diajarkan hanyalah membaca, menulis, menggambar, dan menghitung. Tetapi seiring berjalannya waktu banyak orang-orang tepelajar yang tidak hanya sekedar datang tetapi berperan penting juga dengan mengikuti kegiatan di Kampoeng Batara. 2). Perkembangan Kampoeng Batara, sebagai berikut: a). Bermula hanya bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pontensi alam terhadap masyarakat sekitar di Lingkungan Papring. b). Mulai memperkenalkan Kampoeng Batara di media sosial dan mendapatkan respon yang baik terhadap masyarakat di luar daerah Papring. c). Menjadi tempat edukasi dalam bidang pendidikan maupun ekonomi, bahkan mejadi distribusi bagi pengrajin di Lingkungan Papring. d). Meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di Lingkungan Papring, Kecamatan Kalipuro, Kelurahan Kalipuro, Kabupaten Banyuwangi.

Abstract

The development of the world of tourism after the Covid-19 pandemic provides opportunities for the development of tourism products. This study aims to determine the potential of traditional food in Yogyakarta as tourism development; To find out the potential of traditional food in Banyuwangi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with sources, documentation, and supported by literature. The results of this study indicate that 1) Yogyakarta as a tourist city has many menus that can be used to attract tourists including gudeg, bakpia, ingkung, tiwul and Gatot, stir fry mercon, 2) traditional food menus that can be used to attract tourists including botok wasp, uceng-uceng, lanun, pepes olin, and kelemben. These traditional food menus are inseparable from the history of the first time these menus existed and were served. Based on the discussion that has been conveyed by the researchers, it can be concluded that traditional food influences tourists to visit an area, it is necessary to have a good relationship between the government, the community and tourists. If regional tourism is developed, the economy of the community around the tourist object will also feel a positive impact.

Abstract

Critical thinking is the ability to draw conclusions with the right facts and knowledge. Critical thinking is needed in the era of globalization. The low critical thinking skills of students are trained through the PSD learning model. This research was conducted to train students' critical thinking skills with classroom action research methods. The results of the implementation of classroom action research namely in the first cycle of critical thinking skills of students with a score of 61.6% and the second cycle of critical thinking skills of students with a score of 70%. Thus, the application of the PSD model can train students' critical thinking skills with an increase of 8.4%.

Abstract

This research examines the role of Ottolander, a Dutch figure who played an important role in the development of coffee plantations and cultural preservation in Tamansari, Banyuwangi in 1909-1933. Using the historical method which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. This study aims to reconstruct Ottolander's contribution in the Dutch East Indies colonial context. Ottolander was known as a smart and insightful plantation entrepreneur, and was active in agricultural organizations such as the Naerlandsh Indische Landbouw syndicaat. He also introduced gandrung Banyuwangi to the national level through the Java-instituut congress in 1921. During Ottolander's presence in Tamansari not only increased coffee production, but also had a positive impact on the local residents. Ottolander also provided a little knowledge to local residents through agricultural training.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of online learning between PGRI Banyuwangi University and PGRI Mahadewa University Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. So that the learning process continues to run well and keeps the quality of education high, universities collaborate in organizing a flexible learning system. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using literature study, document analysis, observation, and interviews. The informants in this research were 30 students from both universities who took Cultural History courses. The research results showed that this collaborative learning focused on online learning design to create social interaction and a humanist side of learning. It leads to effective learning, namely social interaction in the online learning process and performance between students. Collaboration-based online learning design was managed in the following way: (1) collaboration-based online learning planning begins with needs analysis; (2) the implementation of collaboration-based online learning is carried out by providing teaching materials in the LMS and then accessing them independently. Furthermore, the effectiveness of collaboration-based online learning was obtained through involvement in completing assignments through integrated online worksheets and group work.

Abstract

Toys are objects or tools designed for the purpose of entertainment, learning, or recreational activities. Technological advances and the wide flow of information via the internet have shaped the lifestyle of Generation Z. They are used to communicating using gadgets, getting information from various sources via the internet, playing games, and even shopping using smartphones, a device that is always in their hands. Pocket money plays a key role in shaping the financial independence of children and teenagers. Pocket money can impact access to technology, including devices and internet connections. This article will examine the influence of the amount of pocket money on students' game choices, with a focus on traditional and modern games. The type of research carried out is quantitative research, where the researcher uses a causality design to test the relationship between variable X as the independent variable, namely the amount of pocket money, and variable Y as the dependent variable, namely the choice of game. The amount of pocket money has a significance value of 0.017. This value is smaller than 0.05 (0.017 < 0.05). The hypothesis stating that there is a relationship between the amount of pocket money and the choice of game is accepted. This means that pocket money influences the choice of games, both traditional and modern.

Abstract

The aims of this study was: To find out whether there is or not a gap between the ideal condition and real condition of Geopark module used by geopark ambassadors at SMPN 3. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Total respondents of this reserach were 20 students consisting of 10 female and 10 male. The procedure of this study was that researchers give questionnaires consist of idel condition and real condition to the geopark ambassadors by using google form. The results of this study showed that: in ideal condition,students expected that the module must be interesting,easy to understand and based on their desires. In real condition, 17 students or about 85% of students answered "no" this proved that the ijen geopark module needs development of the content. Based on the result above, , It can be concluded that there is a gap in the geopark ijen module Keywords : Analysis, Need Analysis, Ijen Geopark Module

Abstract

The goal of the research was how a multisensory method assisted dyslexic graders increase their vocabulary mastery. The low of vocabulary scores of preliminary study obtained by dyslexic students. It encouraged this research. This research was conducted at Bianglala homeschooling Banyuwangi. There were two cycles to this Classroom Action Research. Three meeting in cycle 1, and two meeting in cycle 2. Three dyslexic students were the subjects of this research. The data was collected through a vocabulary test in multiple choice form. The test consist of 10 items of abstract noun and concrete noun. The results showed that the students’ test scores in cycles I and II increased significantly. The students’ achievement in cycle I was 66.6% who achieved the minimum criterion, but in cycle II, it increased to 100% who passed the minimum criterion. In addition, the minimum score was reached. From cycle I to cycle II, students’ vocabulary increased. The students’ vocabulary mastery improved from cycle I to cycle II, according to the findings. It may be concluded that using the Multisensory Method can assist dyslexic students enhance their vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This research is error analysis research on students’ comparison and contrast paragraph writing of the second semester students’ of English Educational Department at PGRI University of Banyuwangi. The aims of this research was to identify the types of errors in writing comparison and contrast paragraph made by second semester students’ at PGRI University of Banyuwangi. Using a purposive sample, students in the second-semester of the 2021/2022 academic year were selected as samples in this study. The research study is classified into a descriptive qualitative study. The data source were collected from the students’ writing of second semester. The instrument used in this research is the document. Corder theory becomes the main key in the data analysis. Based on the analysis of the grammatical errors, four types of errors were found. These four errors are as follows. In class A, there are 18 total error sentences with 4 types of errors (six errors in omission, five in addition, two in misformation, and three in misordering). Meanwhile, in class B, there are 7 of total errors sentence with 4 types of errors, they are two errors in omission, two in addition, two in misformation, and one in misordering.

Abstract

Kaliploso is a village in Cluring District, Banyuwangi Regency which has a lot of potential, one of which is a Horticultural Village. The existing potentials must be developed to become village-based tourist destinations in order to improve the community's economy. Village development efforts must involve many parties, one of which is the role of youth. Youth as the spearhead towards change with all the potential it has. The method used is qualitative research. The data collectors used include observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results and discussion, the existence of Karangtaruna contributes a lot to the development of Kaliploso Village as an empowered village and a tourist village. The youth together with the village government produced various creative ideas packaged in a festival agenda ranging from agriculture, animal husbandry, health, culture and religion. Kaliploso adalah sebuah desa di Kecamatan Cluring Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang memiliki banyak potensi salah satunya sebagai Desa Hortikultura. Potensi-potensi yang ada harus dikembangkan untuk menjadi destinasi wisata berbasis desa agar dapat memperbaiki ekonomi masyarakat. Upaya pengembangan desa harus melibatkan banyak pihak salah satunya peran pemuda. Pemuda sebagai ujung tombak menuju perubahan dengan segala potensi yang dimilikinya. Metode yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumplan data yang diunakan antara lain observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, keberadaan Karangtaruna banyak memberikan konstribusi bagi pengembangan Desa Kaliploso sebagai desa berdaya dan desa wisata. Dari pemuda bersama pemerintah desa menghasilkan berbagai ide kreative dikemas agenda festival mulai dari pertanian, peternakan, kesehatan, budaya dan keagamaan
