Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam bidang seni rupa. Salah satu inovasi yang muncul adalah penggunaan buku cerita bergambar berbasis digital dalam pengajaran seni rupa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana integrasi teknologi digital melalui buku cerita bergambar berbasis digital dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran seni rupa, serta memahami pengaruhnya terhadap kreativitas dan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di beberapa sekolah di Indonesia yang telah menerapkan media digital dalam pengajaran seni rupa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis konten buku digital yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku cerita bergambar berbasis digital dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa, memperkaya pemahaman budaya, dan mengembangkan keterampilan visual siswa. Meskipun demikian, tantangan dalam hal akses teknologi dan pelatihan guru menjadi faktor penting yang perlu diperhatikan untuk memaksimalkan potensi teknologi dalam pengajaran seni rupa.

Abstract

Penciptaan karya tari Sapa Rah mengangkat ide kisah Sumpah Drupadi dalam epos Mahabharata. Kisah ini menarik untuk diangkat karena erat kaitannya dengan isu pelecehan dan kekerasan terhadap perempuan yang terjadi saat ini, sehingga nilai pemuliaan terhadap sesama khususnya perempuan penting untuk disuarakan. Proses kreatif penciptaan karya ini berlandaskan pada metode dan tahapan penciptaan tari yang disebut angripta sasolahan oleh I Ketut Suteja. Proses kreatif ini terbagi atas lima prinsip atau tahapan utama diawali dengan tahap perencanaan hingga tahap pementasan karya secara utuh. Secara terstruktur tahapan proses kreatif angripta sasolahan terdiri atas: ngarencana, nuasen, makalin, nelesin, dan ngebah. Melalui proses kreatif yang dilakukan maka terciptalah tari Sapa Rah yang merupakan tari kontemporer dengan tema pemuliaan terhadap sesama melalui pengendalian api dalam diri, berbentuk duet dengan satu orang penari perempuan dan satu orang penari laki-laki. Sapa Rah dimaknai sebagai kutukan darah seorang wanita terhadap orang dengan etika negatif yang berujung pada kesadaran diri terhadap pengendalian emosi. Ciri khas yang identik dengan karya tari Sapa Rah ini yang jarang ditemukan pada bentuk karya tari duet lainnya adalah pemilihan tema pemuliaan terhadap sesama melalui pengendalian api dalam diri, saat tari duet lainnya justru berfokus pada tema romansa percintaan maupun tema heroik kepahlawanan.

Abstract

This article is the result of research related to the creative process of creating the Baris Bebek BingarBengkala (Bebila) dance in Bengkala Buleleng Village, which was created by Ida Ayu Trisnawati in 2016 as atraditional Balinese dance in the form of a line specifically created for the deaf-mute or kolok community in thevillage Bengkala. This dance work indirectly breaks the stigma of society that looks down on people with disabilitiesbecause it has managed to get quite good appreciation. Interestingly, the kolok dancers in their performances are notgiven any code or instructions from anyone at all. They danced like normal dancers usually on stage. It is thedrummers who follow every motion accent that comes out of the dancer's body. The method applied in this study is aqualitative method with reference to the Theory of Creativity and The 4P Theory. The research results obtained show thatthe process of creating the Baris Bebila dance work is a process of the body's journey to find specialties in eachindividual regardless of the shortcomings they have. The process of creating the Baris Bebila dance showsthat dance isa universal language for expression and communication. Abstract

Pendidikan seni memiliki peran strategis dalam melestarikan dan mengembangkan budaya lokal seperti batik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana pendidikan seni di SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya dapat digunakan sebagai wadah untuk pelestarian dan pengembangan budaya batik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi studi kasus yang dipadukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis dokumen pembelajaran, wawancara guru dan siswa, serta observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Kriya Kreatif Batik dan Tekstil SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya dengan penekanan pada mata pelajaran batik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran seni di SMK tidak hanya mengenalkan teknik pembuatan batik, tetapi juga menyisipkan nilai-nilai budaya, sejarah, dan filosofi batik kepada siswa. Selain itu, keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan praktik langsung dan proyek berbasis komunitas menjadi faktor penting dalam mengembangkan potensi inovasi mereka terhadap desain batik kontemporer. Dengan demikian, pendidikan seni di SMK menjadi instrumen penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan budaya batik sekaligus meningkatkan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

The art of storytelling, as one of Indonesia's rich cultural heritages, plays a crucial role in transmitting the values, norms, and collective identity of society. This study aims to explore the function of the art of storytelling as a medium of dialogue in the context of contemporary performing arts, focusing on how traditional elements can be integrated with modern innovations to create a profound aesthetic experience. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes several performances that successfully combine the art of storytelling with contemporary elements, as well as their impact on cultural preservation and strengthening local identity. The results of this study indicate that the art of storytelling functions not only as a means of entertainment but also as a tool for social reflection that can connect different generations. These performances create a space for dialogue that allows audiences to engage emotionally and intellectually, and encourages discussion on relevant issues in society. Thus, this study contributes to the understanding of the importance of the art of storytelling in preserving and celebrating Indonesia's cultural heritage, as well as its role in responding to the challenges of globalization and social change.

Abstract

Tari Sandar merupakan salah satu tari upacara yang dipentaskan dalam rangkaian upacara Dewa Yadnya di Pura Luhur Ulun Swi, Desa Adat Seseh, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami Tari Sandar yang ada di Pura Luhur Ulun Swi, Desa Adat Seseh, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Awal mula Tari Sandar; (2) Bentuk pertunjukan Tari Sandar; (3) Makna yang terkandung dalam pertunjukan Tari Sandar. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi teori religi, teori estetika Hindu serta teori semiotika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemunculan Tari Sandar ditandai dengan peristiwa tapel Barong Ket dihanyutkan dari wilayah Jimbaran karena dianggap tidak layak, lalu terdampar di pesisir Desa Adat Seseh. Peristiwa tersebut diyakini sebagai pawisik, kemudian tapel itu diabadikan sebagai benda suci di Pura Luhur Ulun Swi, peristiwa tersebut kemudian diyakini sebagai cikal bakal lahirnya Tari Sandar. (2) Bentuk pertunjukan Tari Sandar dapat dikategorikan sebagai dramatari, yang melibatkan beberapa lakon yaitu penari Sandar, Jauk Kembar, Topeng Tua, dan Topeng Telek. (3) Makna yang terkandung dalam Tari Sandar terepresentasi melalui alur pertunjukan tersusun atas dasar penanda dan petanda yang dapat dibaca secara denotatif, konotatif, maupun dalam bentuk mitos. Sebagai kesenian sakral, Tari Sandar menjadi bagian penting dari identitas budaya masyarakat Desa Adat Seseh dan terus dijaga keberlanjutannya melalui siklus upacara dan keterlibatan kolektif warga setempat.

Abstract

Art education plays a crucial role in preserving and developing local cultural heritage, including batik. This study aims to examine the role of art education at SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya in supporting the preservation and development of batik culture. The focus of the study was on the learning process in the Batik and Textile Creative Crafts Program, specifically for eleventh-grade students. This study employed a qualitative approach with case study and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included analysis of learning documents, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and direct observation of learning and practical activities. The results indicate that the art learning process at this school focuses not only on technical skills in batik but also integrates rich cultural content, such as the history of batik, the philosophical values within motifs, and the role of batik in local cultural identity. Through this approach, students are equipped not only with technical skills but also with a deep understanding of the cultural values inherent in batik. Furthermore, student involvement in hands-on activities and community-based projects provides space for innovation. They are encouraged to create contemporary batik designs that remain rooted in traditional motifs but are adapted to contemporary tastes. This activity also fosters a sense of ownership of cultural heritage and fosters creativity and independence. Thus, arts education at SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya has proven to play a strategic role in maintaining the sustainability of batik culture. More than just skills training, arts education is an effective means of building cultural awareness, fostering innovation, and strengthening local identity among the younger generation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the concept of the Janger Semara Ratih dance work which aims to attract the interest of visitors to the Indonesia Kaya Gallery, especially the younger generation. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. This was carried out in an interview process with the Janger Dance choreographer Semara Ratih, founder of the Kembalikan Baliku Community. Apart from that, data can also be obtained from recordings of the Janger Semara Ratih dance, choreographer interviews from several media and supporting books that match the focus of the discussion. The traditional art of Balinese dance is still very popular among the younger generation, especially in the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. There is a dance community in Jakarta, founded three years ago which presents a dance performance entitled Janger Semara Ratih. This dance work has been performed at an annual event namely Indonesian Cultural Heritage and also at regular events at the Indonesia Kaya Gallery. The Janger Semara Ratih dance work was performed by several dancers who are members of the Kembalikan Baliku Community. This performance is presented to attract the interest of the younger generation in Jakarta to help preserve Balinese dance arts by providing story concepts related to the lives of today's young people.

Abstract

Children on the autism spectrum (autism) often face challenges in social interaction, communication, and expressing emotions. For them, understanding and responding to sensory stimuli and social situations can be complicated. However, through an interdisciplinary approach that combines psychology, music therapy, and dance, dance learning has been proven to be an effective method for helping autistic children overcome these obstacles. This article will explain why learning to dance which involves psychology, music therapy and dance has a positive impact on the development of children with autism. Contributions that can be made after carrying out the learning process, children who have autistic disorders, they are able to appear in Home Scooling school graduation performances, with very good application, starting from the level of imagination which supports very well, can produce very good dances above. performance stage. Abstract

Education is the main foundation for human growth in an ever-developing world. In this context, the learning environment in the classroom is a crucial factor that influences the effectiveness of the learning process. The researcher applied a qualitative phenomenological approach in completing this research to understand how the psychosocial and physical environment of the classroom at SMPN 2 Denpasar influences the learning process. A conducive class is the main focus, considering various aspects ranging from cleanliness, freedom to learn, to student-teacher social interaction. The role of a teacher who serves as a class manager who is responsible for creating a learning environment that motivates students as well as teachers. The research results highlight that a conducive classroom environment does not only involve physical aspects such as room layout, but also social and psychological aspects. Positive social interactions, students' freedom to learn, and camaraderie in the classroom influence their learning motivation. Organizing the classroom environment holistically is an important key in increasing the effectiveness of the learning process. Teachers need to understand their role in creating a learning atmosphere that stimulates student learning motivation. By paying attention to these aspects, the learning process becomes effective and is able to improve student learning outcomes.
