Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The role of scholars in developing and maintaining Islamic values ​​is vital. Among the scholars who play an essential role in the process is Shaykh Mahfudz at Tarmasi. This article aims to explore the traditions and intellectual networks of Shaykh Mahfudz, one of the archipelago scholars of the late nineteenth century who had a profound influence on the development of Islamic intellectual traditions in the archipelago. Despite spending his age in Mecca, he succeeded in educating Javanese clerics who were members of the Jawi community to become leaders of large pesantren in the archipelago. This research concludes that Shaykh Mahfudz is a productive ulama. The intellectual traditions and networks that he built spread to various Islamic worlds through several works he produced, and through his students who acted as transmitters of Islamic sciences from Mecca to the archipelago

Abstract

The low quality of human resources and inadequate facilities in madrasas are new problems for educational institutions based on an integrated curriculum. If these conditions continue to be allowed, then the goals of Islamic education will experience obstacles. This qualitative research was conducted to analyze the integrated curriculum management, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of its implementation at MA Al-Mumtaz Gunungkidul Special Region of Yogyakarta. Based on reliable sources of document data and sources, through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, inductive analysis was carried out to find meaningful final findings of research results. The results show that at MA Al-Mumtaz, 3 integrated curricula have been implemented, namely, the National curriculum, the Islamic Boarding School curriculum, and the Entrepreneurship curriculum. Management principles are also implemented, starting from curriculum planning by the Pondok Pesantren component at the beginning of each new school year. The implementation of the curriculum is assigned to the coordinators of the education sub-section with its members to students. The implementation of the curriculum is based on the autonomy of the foundation, an integrated curriculum system, a curriculum modification system, and the primacy of affective assessment. Supervision is carried out at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year. Its strengths are the one-way command system, the creation of independent human resources, and the consistency of regulations at MA Al-Mumtaz. Meanwhile, its weaknesses are found in organizing educators and education personnel, as well as community acceptance.

Abstract

Abstrak: Asbab al-Nuzul adalah salah satu aspek yang sangat penting dalam disiplin Ilmu Studi Al-Qur’an Perspektif Pendidikan Islam, dimana pemahaman terbaik tentang pendidikan dan Islam itu sendiri akan menjadi pondasi utama dalam memecahkan persoalan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Dalam konteks pendidikan perspektif Islam, Al-Qur’an merupakan sumber rujukan utama yang mendasari pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dalam memahami ayat-ayat dalam Al-Qur’an diperlukan pemahaman yang komprehensif sehingga dapat meminimalisir kekeliruan-kekeliruan yang mungkin akan terjadi. Pemahaman yang baik dalam memahami Asbab al-Nuzul tidak hanya membantu kita memahami peristiwa apa yang melatarbelakangi suatu surat atau ayat diturunkan, tetapi juga sebagai proyeksi dari kejadian-kejadian yang akan muncul dalam kehidupan era modern seperti saat ini.Kata Kunci: Asbab al-Nuzul, Nilai-nilai Pendidikan, Qur’an.

Abstract

The emergence of a knowledge always begins with a question. Students have good questioning skills which are one of the benchmarks for gathering information, informing what is known, and directing what is not known. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of lecturer policies on the quantity and quality of students' ability to ask questions based on Bloom's taxonomy which has been revised in the course of Islamic Religious Education Material Development course. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at FTIK IAIN Manado with the research respondents being all 5th semester C grade students, totaling 33 students. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the number of students who asked questions was 96%. The quality of the questions in this study was 40.62% in the category of low-level questions and 59.3% indicated that students asked questions in the high-level question category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the student's ability to ask questions is classified as high, seeing from the most data, although not significant, so it is felt that it needs to be improved and developed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskrifti kualitatif dengan mengunaka beberapa buku,jurnal,berita dan dokumen dokumen terkait pembahasannya atau bisa di sebut dengan Library Research, pentingnya penelitian ini adalah mengetahui relevansi konstruksi pemikiran Paulo Freire yang berhubungan dengan kebijakan merdeka belajar serta relevansinya pada pendidikan islam serta untuk menambah pengetahuan bagi pembacca. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada 3 relevansi pada pendidikan islam yaitu pertama, pendidikannya membebaskan sejalan dengan kebijakan penghapusan ujian nasional (UN). Kedua, pendidikan bersifat dialogis-kritis  cocok untuk kebijakan penyederhanaan RPP dan sistem zonasi. Ketiga, pendidikan pedagogik kritis layak diterapkan pada kebijakan ujian sekolah berstandar nasional (USBN) yang dikelola oleh sekolah.This research is a qualitative descriptive research using several books, journals, newspapers and documentation related to its discussion or can be referred to as Library Research, the importance of this research is to know the relevance of Paulo Freire's thought construction related to the policy of independent learning and its relevance to Islamic education, as well as to increase knowledge for the practitioners. As for the results of this study, there are three relevances to Islamic education, namely, first, its education is free in accordance with the policy of abolition of national exams (UN). Second, education is dialogic-critical, suitable for simplifying the policies of the RPP and the zoning system. Third, critical pedagogical education deserves to be applied to the national standard school examination policy (USBN) administered by the school.

Abstract

Presentasi kelompok dalam dunia kampus hususnya fakultas ilmu tarbiyah dan keguruan ialah merupakan bagian dari latihan mengajar untuk calon pendidik, karena dalam presentasi ialah dilakukan tidak hanya dalam satu arah akan tetapi melibatkan antara presenter dan peserta, ice breaking menjadi strategi yang sering diterapkan dalam presentasi kelompok untuk menunjang semangat dan konsentrasi belajar. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui bagai mana implementasi ice breaking dalam presentasi kelompok terhadap penjunjang semangat dan konsentrasi belajar mahasiswa, Penelitian field research ini menggunakan data deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui Observasi Partisipan, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi, dari data yang didapat oleh peneliti maka ditindak lanjuti dengan analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data (kesimpulan). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) implementasi ice breaking dalam presentasi kelompok dapat dilaksanakan pada saat awal,tengah dan akhir dalam presentasi dan jenis-jenis ice breaking yang diterapkan ialah seperti tes konsentrasi, yel-yel, game,  penyemangat dan semacamnya. (2) Peran dari implementasi ice breaking ialah dapat membuat suasana menjdi menyenangkan, sehinggah mahasiswa tidak merasabosan dan mengantuk sehinggah dapat menunjang semangat dan konsentrasi belajar.

Abstract

The country of Brunei Darussalam is a country with a geographical area that is not large, but has many unique features, apart from the people living in abundance, this country is a country that adheres to the Malay Islam Beraja ideology, which is an ideology. which combines Malay culture, Islamic teachings and the Royal system. This research tries to examine and dig deeper into the role of MIB and its relationship to Islamic education. The purpose of writing this article is to find out what the Islamic education system is like in Brunei Darussalam and the role of MIB and its application to Islamic education in Brunei Darussalam. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique for this research uses three analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. This research examines the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation, technical triangulation and time triangulation. The research process lasted for 1 month. The results of this research are that in general the concept of education in Brunei Darussalam is similar to countries in the world in general such as Malaysia and Singapore. However, what is unique about education in Brunei is that there are 3 main subjects taught in schools, namely bilingual subjects, Islamic Melayu Beraja and increased resources including vocational and vocational studies

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of the research is to provide an overview to educators regarding the practice of implementing direct interactive learning strategies, in which errors considered common often occur. In this case, they are not believed to be mistakes, whereas they are not implemented by the theory, such as the absence of implementation of clarification in the learning process. Methods – This research is qualitative type. Therefore, the data is collected by observation. Observations were carried out in the classrooms of students of the 5th semester Islamic Religious Education study program at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of steps for data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Findings – The results of this research indicate that the implementation of interactive learning strategies in the classroom contains a sequence of steps by theory, commencing with goals and establishing a set, explanation or demonstration of knowledge, guided practice, checking understanding and providing feedback, as well as extended practice and expanding transfers. Nonetheless, the two steps are combined into one by the educator who implements them.Research Implications – This research is limited to the application of interactive direct learning strategies. In this case, the obstacle in this strategy is the difficulty in generalizing several steps in the learning strategy since there are steps combined into one. The researcher hopes that this research can be a guide for educators in implementing interactive direct learning strategies in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Evaluation Of Islamic Education From The Perspective Of The Prophet Muhammad SAW. The author uses qualitative research methods in this study, using the type of library / library research and with a content analysis approach. Therefore, the authors collect hadiths related to educational evaluation. In this way, hadiths related to the evaluation of education will be found. In this research, the authors found the objectives, functions, principles, and types of evaluation of Islamic education according to the perspective of hadith. In this way, this writing will add to the treasures in Islamic education regarding the evaluation of Islamic education from the perspective of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting untuk diterapkan pada peserta didik karena karakter dan kepribadian yang kuat pada diri peserta didik akan berdampak pada masa depan bangsa, sehingga kualitas pendidikan karakter harus benar-benar diterapkan dalam segala kegiatan pendidikan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pandangan Thomas Lickona dan Buya Hamka tentang pendidikan karakter untuk mengetahui persamaan dan perbedaan, serta relevansi pemikiran Buya Hamka dan Thomas Lickona tentang pendidikan karakter di era modern. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pustaka kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deduksi. Menurut pandangan Thomas Lickona tentang pendidikan karakter, ada tiga komponen mendasar dalam pendidikan karakter: nowing the good, viling the good, action the good. Menurut Buya Hamka tentang pendidikan karakter yang ditulis dalam bukunya yang berjudul “Kepribadian Hebat”, Buya Hamka mengungkapkan bahwa pendidikan karakter adalah upaya mengembangkan potensi-potensi dalam diri manusia berdasarkan nilai-nilai agama yang dirumuskan menjadi nilai-nilai universal bagi seluruh aktivitas manusia sebagai makhluk individu dan sosial. .
