Abstract

In the digital era, choosing the right educational game is a challenge for parents, so a recommendation system is needed that is able to provide relevant suggestions according to children's needs. This research aims to build an educational game recommendation system using the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method. This method works by analyzing user rating patterns for games, then calculating the level of similarity between games using the Adjusted Cosine Similarity and Weighted Sum algorithms to produce personalized recommendations. Data is obtained explicitly through user interaction in the form of likes and comments on available games. System testing was carried out involving 22 respondents. To the question "Do the recommended educational games help increase your child's knowledge or skills?", 54.5% of respondents answered "Strongly Agree" and 45.5% "Agree", with no negative responses. This shows that all respondents considered the recommended educational games to be positively beneficial for children's development. Meanwhile, to the question "Do the game recommendations suit your child's wishes?", 50% of respondents answered "Strongly Agree", 40.9% "Agree", and 9.1% "Neutral". These results indicate that the majority of respondents considered the system to be quite appropriate in adapting recommendations to children's interests.

Abstract

Siswa SMK sering menghadapi tantangan dalam pembelajaran seperti akses informasi yang terbatas, kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah, dan kurangnya sumber belajar yang relevan. Oleh karena itu perlu metode atau alat untuk memcahkan masalah ini,salah satunya adalah ChatGPT. ChatGPT dapat memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dengan menyediakan akses informasi yang lebih luas, membantu dalam pembelajaran mandiri, dan memberikan panduan serta penjelasan tambahan dalam memecahkan masalah. Penggunaan ChatGPT juga memungkinkan siswa mengakses sumber daya pembelajaran tambahan di luar jam pelajaran. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ChatGPT memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi siswa dan guru, dengan kemampuan ChatGPT dalam menjawab pertanyaan, meringkas dokumen, menerjemahkan teks, dan memahami kode program. Respon siswa setelah pelatihan juga sangat positif terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran. Sehingga, ChatGPT efektif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Pantai Labu.

Abstract

SD PAB 23 Patumbak telah memiliki infrastruktur WiFi sekolah, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal untuk mendukung pembelajaran digital karena keterbatasan literasi digital guru. Sebagian besar guru masih menggunakan akses internet hanya untuk kebutuhan administratif, sehingga potensi WiFi sebagai sarana pembelajaran interaktif belum dimaksimalkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan WiFi sekolah guna meningkatkan literasi digital guru di SD PAB 23 Patumbak. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi awal kondisi pemanfaatan WiFi, pelatihan berbasis praktik tentang konsep dasar jaringan komputer dan penggunaan WiFi untuk pembelajaran, pendampingan pemanfaatan sumber belajar digital, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 10 orang guru dan dilaksanakan secara partisipatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi guru, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebesar 55,3%. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada aspek keterampilan kolaborasi daring (68%) dan pemanfaatan sumber belajar digital (60%). Kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap kesiapan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi jaringan ke dalam proses pembelajaran serta memperkuat literasi digital di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi WiFi sekolah melalui pendampingan terarah terbukti efektif dalam mendukung transformasi pembelajaran digital di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly influenced the process of buying and selling vehicles, especially used cars. The process of selecting used cars often faces several problems, such as limited information, difficulties in comparing vehicle specifications, and different vehicle locations. This study aims to develop a location-aware web-based Decision Support System using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method for used car selection. The system is designed to help users obtain the best used car recommendations based on several criteria, such as price, production year, engine condition, fuel consumption, transmission, mileage, and passenger capacity. The location-aware feature is implemented to allow users to search for used cars based on specific cities, such as Medan, Binjai, Pematang Siantar, and Sibolga. The SMART method is used to perform weighting and ranking of car alternatives to produce objective and measurable recommendations. This research uses data collection methods through literature studies, observations, and questionnaires distributed to 70 respondents. The results show that the developed system is capable of helping users choose used cars more effectively, efficiently, and according to user needs.
