Abstract

Abstract Children cognitive development can be increased by doing experimental activities because by doing experiments, children are able to engage actively in activities and use concretely media that can stimulate children cognitive development, so the children in TK Islamiyah Pontianak still can’t do the experiment by them self, they can’t find the cause due to the occurrence of something/ telling the results of experiments conducted, teachers are not able to understand how to improving children cognitive. The general purpose of this study is to increase the cognitive development through the experimental method.Thisresearchwasclassroomactionresearch.SubjectsandLocationofthisstudy areteachersand childrenaged 5-6years.From theresult of research and discussion can be concluded as follows (1) Learning plan made by the teacher to improve children cognitive development through experimental method has been prepared in accordance with the purpose of research and fulfill the preparation steps in accordance with the curriculum 2013. Abstract

Kompetensi professional guru diartikan guru mampu mengelola proses pembelajaran dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk: 1) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh pengembanagn keprofesian berkelanjutan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru, 2) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru, dan 3) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi profesional guru. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian asosiatif. Populasi penelitian ini 134 guru dan sampel penelitian 100 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data diskriptif, uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji linieritas dan uji hipotesis meliputi regresi linier sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) korelasi antara pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebasar 0.873. Pengaruh pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebesar 76,2 %, (2) Korelasi antara disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebasar 0.768. Pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebesar 68,9 %, (3) Korelasi antara pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebasar 0.874. Pengaruh pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebesar 76,3 %. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru sebesar 0,763 atau 76,3%. Penulis menyarankan agar kepala sekolah memefasilitasi kegiatan pengembangan diri guru terutama tentang penguasaan landasan kependidikan, kemudian guru juga mengikuti pelatihan dan seminar agar dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Guru dapat melakukan refleksi dan evaluasi dengan meningkatkan pengembangan diri dan disiplin kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how efforts to fulfill the rights of child prisoners and the implementation of child prisoner development in correctional institutions class II B Sorong City. The research used through empirical juridical legal research methods through a qualitative approach with material analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) Efforts to protect the rights of child prisoners in the Class II B Correctional Institution of Sorong City based on Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections. Its implementation runs in accordance with existing regulations. However, in granting these rights, it is necessary to pay attention to the development of child prisoners, including the growth and development of children, both physical, mental, and social, so it is not justified if the development and protection of child prisoners are equalized with adult prisoners. According to Lawrence M Friedmann, the success of law enforcement is determined by three elements of the legal system, namely: Legal structure, legal substance, and legal culture. First Legal Substance, in this case there is no new government regulation after Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections. Second Legal Structure, in this case the overcapacity that occurs in the Correctional Institution class II B Sorong City can affect the performance of the Institution itself so that extra services are needed for prisoners. Third Legal Culture, the existence of prisons that cannot keep up with the number of incoming prisoners, it is necessary to increase awareness of the legal culture of the community so that crime can be minimized and can reduce the number of incoming prisoners. (2) The existence of child prisoners who are still integrated with adult prisoners due to overcapacity needs to be addressed properly because the implementation should be specifically placed in the Child Special Development Institution (LPKA) based on the provisions of Article 47 of Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections.

Abstract

Background: Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Effective patient education regarding CHD and its risk factors is essential for prevention and management. Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a module-based educational intervention on improving patient knowledge of CHD risk factors. Methods: This quasi-experimental study employed a pre-test and post-test control group design. A total of 34 participants were selected via quota sampling, with 17 assigned to the intervention group and 17 to the control group. Participants' knowledge levels were measured using the Heart Disease Facts Questionnaire (HDFQ) before and after receiving education on CHD risk factors through a structured booklet and Counselling Events Units (SAP). Results: Statistical analysis using the Mann-Whitney test revealed a significant increase in the knowledge levels of the intervention group compared to the control group (p = 0.001), indicating the effectiveness of the module-based education. Conclusion: Module-based education on CHD risk factors significantly improves patient knowledge. This approach can be an effective educational tool in clinical settings for enhancing patient understanding and reducing CHD risk.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease that cannot be cured and is a comorbid disease that can add to a person's weight if the person suffers from certain diseases, one of which is Covid-19. Efforts to prevent exposure to Covid-19 can be carried out properly if the patient has sufficient knowledge to base their behavior on. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and behavior to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. Sampling used a total sampling technique with 40 respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire to determine the knowledge of type 2 DM patients about Covid-19 and a questionnaire about Covid-19 prevention behavior. Bivariate analysis using the Kendall-Tau correlation test showed p = 0.028 (p<0.05). These results indicate a significant relationship between knowledge and behavior to prevent transmission of Covid-19 in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior to prevent transmission of Covid-19 in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Abstrak Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan penyakit degeratif yang tidak bisa disembuhkan dan merupakan salah satu penyakit komorbid yang bisa menambah berat seseorang apabila seseorang tersebut menderita penyakit tertentu salah satunya adalah Covid-19. Upaya pencegahan dari paparan Covid-19 bisa dilaksanakan dengan baik apabila penderita tersebut memiliki bekal ilmu pengetahuan yang cukup untuk mendasari mereka dalam berperilaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di rumah sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan 40 responden penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengetahui pengetahuan pasien DM tipe 2 tentang Covid-19 dan kuesioner tentang perilaku pencegahan Covid-19. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Kendall Tau menunjukkan   p=0,028 (p<0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Disarankan untuk pasien DM tipe 2 dapat melakukan pencegahan secara dini dengan meminimalkan penularan sebagai upaya untuk mencegah dampak yang akan memperparah kondisi apabila terpapar Covid-19.

Abstract

Patients with diabetes mellitus without proper management may develop complications. Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most common complications. Peripheral neuropathy is the most common form of diabetic neuropathy and often leads to leg ulcer. The objective of this study is to provide an overview of neuropathy in diabetes mellitus as a contributing factor to the appearance of leg ulcer. The design and methods that were used were a literature review using databases from several studies, such as PubMed and Google Scholar articles, to meet inclusion criteria and publish in journal reviews in the last 10 years. Several suitable findings were then discussed and summarized. The result found four articles that met the inclusion criteria and discussed the incidence of neuropathy and the appearance of leg ulcer. The conclusion from this study showed that the average number of patients with diabetes mellitus who experienced neuropathy was 50.87% and leg ulcer were 14.6%. Patients with peripheral neuropathy have an 11.2 times greater chance of having a leg ulcer. The occurrence of leg ulcer due to neuropathy in patients with diabetes mellitus can be prevented as early as possible with routine examinations and actions or behaviors to support leg ulcer not to occur.   ABSTRAK Pasien dengan diabetes melitus bila tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat mengalami komplikasi. Neuropati diabetes adalah salah satu komplikasi yang umum terjadi. Neuropati perifer merupakan bentuk neuropati diabetik yang paling sering ditemukan dan sering menjadi penyebab terjadinya luka pada kaki. Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk memberikan gambaran tentang neuropati pada diabetes melitus sebagai faktor penyebab munculnya luka pada kaki. Desain: Literature review. Metode: Penelusuran menggunakan database dari Jurnal, literature review melalui Pub-Med, Google Scholar sesuai kriteria inklusi dan dipublikasikan dalam review jurnal 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil pencarian yang tepat kemudian dibahas dan disimpulkan. Hasil: Penelusuran menghasilkan empat artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan semua membahas tentang kejadian neuropati dan munculnya luka pada kaki. Kesimpulan: Temuan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata rata pasien diabetes melitus yang mengalami neuropati sebesar 50,87% dan luka pada kaki sebesar 14,6%. Pasien dengan neuropati perifer memiliki kemungkinan 11,2 kali lebih besar mempunyai resiko terjadi luka pada kaki. Terjadinya luka pada kaki akibat adanya meuropati pada pasien diabetes melitus dapat dicegah sedini mungkin dengan pemeriksaan runtin dan tindakan atau berperilaku untuk mendukung agar luka pada kaki tidak terjadi.

Abstract

Sriyati dan SukadariABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS melalui pendekatan contextual teaching learning (CTL). Adapun 7 siswa kelas VI SDN Pucungroto Kecamatan Kaligesing Kabupaten Purworejo Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 merupakan subjek penelitian. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Tahapan penelitian ini, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan contextual teaching learning (TCL) dapat meningkatkan: 1) motivasi belajar siswa dari 66,61% prasiklus menjadi 75,54% pada siklus I, dan 84,64% pada siklus II; 2) hasil belajar belajar siswa dari (capaian nilai KKM) nilai rata-rata siswa 71,71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 57,14% menjadi 74,86 dengan persentase ketuntasan 71,43% pada siklus I, dan 78,29 dengan persentase 85,71% pada siklus II.Kata kunci: motivasi, hasil belajar, metode contextual teaching learningThis research aims to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of IPS through contextual teaching learning (CTL) approach. Meanwhile, 7 students of fourth grade SDN Pucungroto Kaligesing, Purworejo, 2015/2016 are the subject of research. The type of research is classroom action research. . The research procedure starts from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The techniques of collecting data are questionnaires and tests within quantitative descriptive technique as the way of analysis data. The results of research show that the application of ccontextual teaching learning (TCL) can improve: 1) student learning motivation from 66,61% in pre-cycle to 75,54% in 1st cycle, and 84,64% in 2nd; 2) student learning outcomes from (achievement of KKM values) the average students score is 71.71 with the percentage of completeness 57.14% to 74.86 with the percentage completeness 71.43% in the 1st cycle, and 78.29 with the percentage of 85, 71% in 2nd cycle I.Keywords: motivation, learning outcomes, contextual teaching learning method

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students in solving the story problem. So to improve the ability of the material researchers use alternative learning by using a realistic mathematical approach. This realistic mathematical approach is oriented to the real thing. So as to facilitate students to understand the abstract concept. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of realistic mathematical approach to the ability to solve the story problem addition, subtraction, and division. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method with pre-experimental research design with the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research was conducted in class III SDN 2 Setiamulya Kecamatan Tamansari Kota Tasikmalaya. The instrument used in this research is giving test. The test is performed before treatment (pretest) and after treatment (posttest). Data analysis is done by quantitative data analysis with the help of SPSS 16.0 and Microsoft Excel 2013 program. Based on the data analysis obtained from the research, it can be concluded that the process of learning mathematics with realistic mathematics approach in accordance with the four stages of realistic mathematical approach can improve students' abilities addition, subtraction, and division in grade II primary school. The increase in capability can be seen from the average of pretest and posttest results which increased from 6 to 12.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a very important aspect for a person to be able to develop potential. For this reason, this study aims to provide an overview of the confidence of group B children in Elshaddai Untang Kindergarten, explain the application of role play centers in the BCCT method as an effort to increase children's confidence, and explain the results of the application of role play centers in the BCCT method can increase children's confidence in group B in Elshaddai Untang Kindergarten. The research method used, namely Classroom Action Research, uses three cycles of nine meetings, one cycle of three meetings. With the number of subjects 10 children. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The results showed that the application of BCCT with role play centers can increase children's self-confidence, there are some children who increase their confidence. Overall increase in self-confidence of cycle 1 children 42.625% cycle 2 67.25% cycle 3 80.5%. So it can be concluded in this study that children's self-confidence can increase through role play centers with the BCCT method.AbstrakPercaya diri merupakan aspek yang sangat penting bagi seseorang untuk dapat mengembangkan potensi, khusunya kepada anak. Dalam penelitian ini, anak-anak yang diamati merupakan murid TK B di Taman Kanak-kanak Elsahadai Untang Terpadu Kalimantan Barat. Di mana dalam pengamatan penulis anak anak belum memiliki kepercayaan diri yang kuat, ketika diberi kesempatan memimpin baik dalam barisan, menyampaikan pendapat ataupun bertanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberi gambaran percaya diri anak kelompok B di TK Elshaddai Untang, menjelaskan penerapan sentra bermaian peran pada metode BCCT sebagai upaya meningkatkan percaya diri anak, serta menjelaskan hasil penerapan sentra bermain peran pada metode BCCT dapat meningkatkan percaya diri anak pada kelompok B di TK Elshaddai Untang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, menggunakan tiga siklus sebanyak sembilan kali pertemuan, satu siklus ada tiga kali pertemuan. Dengan jumlah subjek 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BCCT dengan sentra bermain peran dapat meningkatkan percaya diri anak, ada beberapa anak yang meningkat percaya dirinya. Secara keseluruhan peningkatan percaya diri anak siklus 1 42,625% siklus 2 67, 25% siklus 3 80, 5%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan pada penelitian ini percaya diri anak dapat meningkat melalui sentra bermain peran dengan metode BCCT.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease with increasing prevalence, with diabetic foot ulcer as one of the main preventable complications. Diabetic foot ulcers can lead to lower limb amputation and are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in diabetic patients. This study aims to determine the effect of foot care education on knowledge of diabetic foot ulcer prevention in diabetes mellitus patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta. The research method was a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test control group design. The sampling technique used the total sampling method with 30 respondents divided into an intervention group (15 people) and a control group (15 people). The research instrument was a questionnaire based on the Diabetic Foot Knowledge Scale (DFKS), which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study with the paired sample t-test showed a p-value = 0.005 (<0.05), which indicated a significant effect of education on knowledge of diabetic foot ulcer prevention. Foot care education effectively increases the knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients in preventing diabetic foot ulcers in diabetes mellitus patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta. This research is expected to serve as a reference for RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in developing policies and standard procedures related to the education and care of diabetes mellitus  patients.
