Abstract

Forests are a vital element in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem because they provide various needs for living things, such as a source of oxygen, carbon dioxide absorber, food provider, climate regulator, and biodiversity conservation place. However, along with the times, deforestation is increasingly rampant and threatens the sustainability of forest ecological functions. One potential approach to preserving forests is local wisdom-based conservation by involving indigenous communities. This study aims to analyse forest conservation practices carried out by the indigenous people of Kampung Naga in Tasikmalaya through a zone division system based on local wisdom values. Using qualitative methods and a case study approach, this research examines how the Kampung Naga community maintains ecosystem balance through structured land management and preservation of forest ecological functions. In addition, this research also explores customary values and norms that shape community behaviour in environmental management, such as the use of natural materials in house construction, sustainable management of agricultural land, and the application of silviculture principles in maintaining forest areas as a life support. The results of this study show that local wisdom can be a strong basis for sustainable natural resource management.

Abstract

Australia is used as one of the countries that overshadow the Australian continent. Civilization from the Australian continent itself emerged with the initial presence of the British arrival to Australia in the form of decolonization. This is what causes cultural acculturation to experience continuity in it. However, the main issue is whether there is a return to the original culture that is maintained by the Aboriginal Tribes as the original tribes that inhabit the Australian continent to be passed on to their generations. Apparently, the original culture is contained in a wind instrument called the Didgeridoo. Didgeridoo is used as a musical instrument that has a conservative role in relaxation for its listeners. In fact, this wind instrument has also been declared the oldest musical instrument from Australia which has a long estimate of the beginning of its civilization. This is what makes it a point in historical value with outstanding usefulness values in the use of Didgeridoo which is associated with the past to the modernized era in order to preserve the musical instrument by holding an exhibition in it to introduce and show how to play it for many people which listening it.

Abstract

The purpose to be achieved in this study is to determine the effect of project-based learning (PjBL) model on students' chronological thinking ability at SMKN 11 Pandeglang. The methodology used in the research is a quasi-experimental method with a “pretest postest control group design” which consists of two class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research population used is class XI students of SMKN 11 Pandeglang. Statistical data analysis used in proving the hypothesis using the independent sample t-test formula with the criteria for success if the significance value (2-tailed) <0.05. The results obtained from this study are sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 then H_a is accepted and H_0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the project-based learning model has an influence on students' chronological thinking ability. This shows that students' chronological thinking ability using the project-based learning model is higher than the discovery learning model seen from the acquisition of the average student score after the test in the experimental class of 82.44 and the control class of 72.48. The indicators of chronological thinking skills tested in this study are the ability to understand the concept of time, the ability to read the timeline, the ability to distinguish between the past, present and future, the ability to sequence historical events, and the ability to analyze historical events.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Sharia Financial Institutions (SFIs) in strengthening sharia financial literacy as a preventive measure against illegal online lending practices in Indonesia. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method through literature review and normative legal analysis of fintech regulations (POJK 77/2016, PBI 19/12/PBI/2017, PDP Law 27/2022, and DSN-MUI Fatwa 117/2018) as well as various studies related to Islamic financial literacy, the role of LKS, and the phenomenon of illegal online lending. The results of the analysis show that Islamic financial literacy still lags behind conventional financial literacy, while the educational and social roles of LKS have not been fully utilized. On the other hand, the legal framework for fintech is adequate, but weak in terms of implementation and public literacy. This study recommends strengthening LKS literacy strategies based on community and digital platforms and developing Islamic microfinance as a safer alternative to illegal online loans.
