Abstract

This research was an experimental research which aimed to examize the effect of the Student Worksheet (LKM) to inquiry learning model on the metacognitive awareness of students in the STKIP-PI Biochemistry course. The research design was a one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument was a metacognitive questionnaire. The steps of the guided inquiry model consist of orientation, presenting the problem, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, testing hypotheses, and drawing conclusions. Measuring metacognitive awareness refers to the metacognitive categorization guidelines. First, the prerequisite test statistical data was the normality test and the homogeneity test. Hypothesis statistical testing used the help of the SPSS for Windows 17 application through the Paired Sample ttest. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the paired sample ttest obtained a significance result of p = 0.06 > α = 0.050, so this states that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected, which means that there was no effect of guided inquiry learning assisted by LKM on metacognitive awareness of STKIP-PI students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by interactive learning videos on the cognitive abilities of MA Ummul Mukminin students. The research design was a one group pretest-postest design. The population of this research was all students of class XI MA Ummul Mukminin. The sample in this study was chosen randomly. The instrument used to measure students' cognitive abilities was in the form of multiple-choice questions of 20 numbers given at the pretest and posttest. The data analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Inferential statistical analysis consisted of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Hypothesis testing used the help of the SPSS For Windows 17.0 application through the Paired Sample t-test. The test results obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.005, which means that there was a significant effect of using the discovery learning model assisted by interactive learning videos in improving the cognitive abilities of MA Ummul Mukminin's students.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Februari 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring atau pembelajaran dalam jaringan yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester satu prodi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia selama adanya pandemi Covid. Sampel penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa semester satu kelas A dan B prodi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Melakukan validasi isi sebelum menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner diisi melalui google form. Link pengisian kuisioner dikirimkan melalui grup WhatsApp masing-masing kelas. Sebanyak tujuh belas item pertanyaan terdapat pada kuesioner yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa. Kuisioner yang diberikan berupa pertanyaan essay. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari mereduksi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa semester satu prodi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia lebih menyukai aplikasi google meet dari pada aplikasi zoom, aplikasi WhatsApp, maupun aplikasi google Classroom. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) dinilai cukup efektif dilaksanakan selama adanya pandemi Covid. Adapun masalah yang sering dihadapi mahasiswa selama proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) berkaitan dengan jaringan internet yang kadang tidak lancar sehingga tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan maksimal, kuota tidak mencukupi karena semua kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online, fasilitas pendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang kurang memadai seperti laptop dan handphone, suasana belajar yang kadang tidak nyaman jika dilakukan di rumah, dan kurang maksimalnya pelayanan yang diterima mahasiswa dari beberapa dosen yang mengajar.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pokok asam, basa dan garam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 18 Makassar. Pengambilan sampel melalui teknik Random Class. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rata-rata motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif untuk kelas eksperimen masing-masing adalah 80,00 dan 73,40. Sedangkan kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata masing-masing adalah 74,42 dan 66,66. Ketuntasan belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 74,29 % sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 51,43%. Berdasarkan hasil statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil motivasi dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan thitung > ttabel, menunjukkan Ho ditolak, maka media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 18 Makassar studi pada materi pokok asam, basa dan garam.Kata kunci: Macromedia flash 8, Motivasi, Hasil belajar kognitifABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of media-based learning Macromedia Flash 8 to motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students in the subject matter acids, bases and salts. This study is a quasi-experimental research with a research design Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 18 Makassar. Random sampling via techniques Class. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive analysis showed the average value of motivation and cognitive learning outcomes for each experimental group was 80.00 and 73.40. While the control class average value of each is 74.42 and 66.66. Mastery learning students in the experimental class amounted to 74.29%, while the control class is 51.43%. Based on the results of inferential statistics by using a hypothesis test results obtained motivation and cognitive achievement with tarithmetic> t table suggests Ho is rejected, then the media-based learning Macromedia Flash 8 significant effect on motivation and learning outcomes of students of Class VII SMP Negeri 18 Makassar studies on materials principal acids, bases and salts.Keyword: Macromedia Flash 8, Motivation, Cognitive learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kesadaran metakognitif yang diajar dengan strategi What’s My Line ber-LKS induktif dengan strategi konvensional ber-LKS induktif siswa kelas XI IPA MAN Malakaji Gowa pada materi pokok sistem koloid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan pretest- posttest control grup design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN Malakaji Gowa yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 yang dipilih secara acak. Pengujian hipotesis dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Of Covariance (Anacova) dengan bantuan SPSS For Windows 16,0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kesadaran metakognitif siswa yang diajar dengan strategi What’s My Line ber-LKS induktif dengan strategi konvensional ber-LKS induktif pada materi pokok sistem koloid dengan signifikansi 0,15. Kata kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran, Kesadaran Metakognitif ABSTRACT The study aimed at examining the difference of meta-cognitive who were taught by using What’s My Line of LKS Inductive strategy and the conventional of LKS Inductive strategy of grade XI IPA students at MAN Malakaji Gowa on Colloid system subject material. This study was a quasi-experiment research which employed pretest-posttest control group design. The population of the study was all grade XI students at MAN Malakaji consisted of 4 classes. Sample were selected randomly and obtained 2 classes, namely grade XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The hypothesis test was analyzed using analysis of covariance (Anacova) supported by SPSS for windows 16.0 program. The result of the study revealed that (1) there was not difference of meta-cognitive awareness of student who were taught by using What’s My Line of LKS Inductive strategy and the conventional of LKS Inductive strategy on Colloid system subject material with the level of significant 0,15. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa dengan penentuan sampel secara random. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar pada materi pokok ikatan kimia yang berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 1,74 > ttabel yaitu 1,67 pada α = 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis H0 ditolak dan hipotesis H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif penggunaan model pengajaran langsung dengan pendekatan metakognitif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa pada materi pokok ikatan kimia.Kata kunci: Pengajaran Langsung, Pendekatan Metakognitif, Hasil BelajarABSTRACTThis study was an experimental study. Data collection technique used achievement test in the subject matter of chemical bonds in the form of multiple choice. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the analysis of data obtained t = 1.74> t table ie 1.67 at α = 0.05, which means that the hypothesis H0 and H1 hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the use of the teaching model directly with metacognitive approach to learning the results of class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa on material of chemical bonds.Keywords: Direct Teaching, Metacognitive Approach, and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran explicit instruction berbantuan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X SMA Guppi Samata. One group pretest-posttest adalah desain penelitian yang digunakan. Sebanyak 20 nomor instrumen tes hasil belajar kognitif. Soal terdiri dari kategori mengingat, memahami, menerapkan, dan menganalisis. Penelitian menggunakan analisis data deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis melalui uji paired sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,005. Artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran explicit instruction berbantuan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik.

Abstract

This study is ex-post-facto research that aims to determine whether there is a correlation between metacognitive awareness and process skills using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by students’ worksheets. The population of this research is the third-semester student of the biology education study program at STKIP PI Makassar. Sample selection is selected randomly. The research instrument that was used to measure process skills was 20 numbered objective questions. Process skill indicators are observing, classifying, predicting, measuring, inferring, and communicating. A total of 52 statement items (positive and negative) Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) were used to measure students’ metacognitive awareness. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Data testing using linear regression test of one independent variable with SPSS 17 program. Based on the results of the linear regression test, it was obtained that the value of R = 0,111 and R square = 0,012. This shows that there is a correlation between metacognitive awareness and process skill, even though it has a very low category with the percentage of impaired metacognitive awareness of 0,12%.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in May – June 2021 with the aim of seeing how the learning process takes place at school and how flexible learning is during school from home. The population in this study are all science teachers in South Sulawesi. Sample selection is done by area sampling. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire that had to be filled out by the science teacher through a google form distributed through the MGMP IPA Whatsapp group in several districts in the province of South Sulawesi. A total of 18 question items contained in the questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is to describe and describe the answers of the respondents. The research that has been done shows that there are still many teachers who have difficulty evaluating learning (cognitive, psychomotic, and affective). As many as 27,57% of teachers said it was very difficult to assess the cognitive aspect, 16,97% of teachers said it was very difficult to assess the affective aspect, and 20.3% of teachers said it was very difficult to assess the psychomotor aspect. Difficulties in evaluating learning are constrained by several things. The main obstacle that most often arises is inadequate children's learning facilities, starting from the inability of parents to buy communication tools for online learning to network constraints which almost some areas feel the impact.

Abstract

Computational thinking pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Seymour Papert pada tahun 1990 – 1996. Computational thinking awalnya digunakan dalam bidang ilmu sains dan bidang informatika. Tetapi, seiring perkembangannya, computational thinking mulai digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan. Metode computational thinking mengarahkan siswa untuk memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, komunikatif, serta keterampilan untuk berkolaborasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Masih banyaknya tenaga pendidik yang belum memahami tentang apa itu computational thinking, manfaat, dan bagaimana pengaplikasiannya dalam pembelajaran membuat kami melakukan edukasi pengenalan compuputational thinking agar dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah seminar via online berkerjasama dengan Konklusi Indonesiayang dilakukan via zoom dan live YouTube. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian ini adalah para peserta peserta sepakat bahwa metode ini sangat cocok untuk diterapkan pada peserta didik di era perkembangan teknologi saat ini sehingga memudahkan peserta didik untuk belajar dan menganalisa sebuah masalah.
