Abstract

In this comprehensive study, we conducted an in-depth and multidimensional analysis to explore the utilization of adaptive pedagogical strategies in the Indonesian higher education curriculum. Our primary focus was leveraging the fascinating neuroplasticity concept to enhance learning outcomes in this context. The study encompassed a wide array of aspects related to personalized learning, delving into its potential impact on education in Indonesia. One of the central themes of our research was the intricate relationship between neuroplasticity and the tailored learning experiences offered by personalized education. By understanding how the brain's plasticity allows it to adapt and rewire in response to new learning experiences, we aimed to shed light on how personalized learning methods can be further optimized to accommodate the diverse needs of Indonesian students. Furthermore, our study took a meticulous look at the tangible results of these strategies on learning outcomes. We aimed to provide empirical evidence of the effectiveness of personalized and adaptive teaching methods in enhancing students' educational experiences. The assessment considered the diversity of the student population. It sought to measure how these pedagogical strategies positively influenced learning outcomes, ultimately contributing to a more effective and dynamic educational landscape. The implications of our findings are far-reaching, particularly in the context of curriculum design and teaching practices in Indonesian higher education institutions. By illuminating the potential benefits of personalized learning and neuroplasticity-informed pedagogical strategies, this research contributes to the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and accessibility of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penyakit ini menjadi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia yang mendapat perhatian karena penyebarannya yang cepat dan dapat menyebabkan kematian dalam waktu yang singkat. Insiden penyakit ini meningkat di beberapa provinsi di Indonesia selama 30 tahun terakhir. DBD masih akan cenderung meningkat dan menyebar luas. Hal ini dikarenakan media penularan DBD banyak dijumpai di pemukiman penduduk dan tempat-tempat umum. Penggunaan semprotan ini digunakan untuk melindungi pengguna dari gigitan nyamuk sekaligus mengusir nyamuk yang dapat menyebabkan penyakit. Masyarakat perlu memahami bagaimana cara sederhana membuat semprotan antinyamuk dari serai. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi pembuatan semprotan pengusir nyamuk dari serai. Penemuan tanaman serai yang mudah dijumpai di lingkungan sekitar, membuat proses pembuatan produk obat nyamuk semprot tidak ada kendala. Produk ini terbuat dari bahan tumbuhan alami dan tidak menggunakan bahan kimia berbahaya bagi kesehatan. Kegiatan ini mendapat reaksi yang positif dari ibu-ibu RT 1 Dusun Sugo.

Abstract

Kesempurnaan riasan dapat dikenali dari beberapa faktor seperti kehalusan, kerataan, dan daya tahan. Untuk mendapatkan riasan yang halus, rata, dan tahan lama, anda perlu memperhatikan beberapa elemen pendukung. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menguji ketahahanan foundation liquid yang diaplikasikan pada kulit berminyak dan kulit kering dengan melakukan observasi ketahanannya tiap 2, 4, 6, 8 jam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan analisis data menggunakan pemograman SPSS. Hasil pembahasan penggunaan foundation liquid pada kulit kering (X2) memperoleh rata-rata 14,60 sedangkan penggunaan foundation liquid pada kulit berminyak (X1) memperoleh rata-rata 13,00. Penggunaan foundation liquid pada kulit kering memperoleh hasil rata-rata yang lebih tinggi karena hasil ketahanan yang dihasilkan oleh penggunaan foundation liquid pada kulit kering lebih baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pada kulit berminyak yaitu semakin lama tingkat ketahanan foundation semakin berkurang, pada kulit kering memiliki ketahanan yang lebih baik dibandingkan kulit berminyak, dan hasil analis data menunjukkan foundation liquid pada kulit kering lebih disukai responden karena memiliki ketahanan lebih baik dibandingkan kulit berminyak. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai penggunaan foundation liquid terhadap tata rias wajah flawless pada kulit kering dan kulit berminyak. Serta menemukan foundation jenis apa yang sesuai untuk kedua jenis kulit tersebut.

Abstract

Limbah bungkus buah apel merupakan barang yang tidak terpakai untuk membalut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pemanfaatan limbah bungkus apel sebagai hiasan busana pesta anak kepada masyarakat diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap busana anak yang memanfaatkan limbah bungkus buah apel. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis eksperimen dilakukan di Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya dengan sampel sebanyak 52 mahasiswa Tata Busana angkatan 2020 – 2021 Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. Metode pengumpulan data melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil perbandingan busana anak dengan hiasan dari bungkus buah apel fuji dan busana pesta anak dengan hiasan dari bungkus apel Malang diperoleh dari tabel statistik Independent sample T-test. Jika nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,001< 0,05 dapat dikatakan Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima, dengan bunyi ada hasil pembuatan busana pesta anak dengan hiasan bungkus buah apel. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan baru mengenai pemanfaatan limbah bungkus buah apel sebagai hiasan busana pesta anak. Hasil analisis studi ini yang ditetapkan dengan uji prasyarat serta uji hipotesis menyatakan sebagai berikut : 1) Pembuatan busana pesta anak, 2) hasil jadi busana pesta anak dengan hiasan dari bungkus buah apel fuji, 3) hasil jadi busana pesta anak dengan hiasan bungkus buah apel Malang.

Abstract

Bioplastic material is derived from natural materials that microorganisms can break down producing water and carbon dioxide. With the expansion of chitosan, CaCO3 from Anadara granosa and glycerol, the structure of the materials utilized to create bioplastics from custard squander. The technique utilized was a trial, which started with producing chitosan and CaCO3 from Andara granosa. The production of bioplastics was completed with custard squander composites blended in with Anadara granosa with an organization of 80% : 20% with the expansion of CaCO3 and glycerol. The ratio of CaCO3 and glycerol differed into four creation proportions 0.3 g : 10 mL; 0.3 g : 15 mL; 0.4 g : 10mL; 0.4 g : 15 mL. Tensile strength upsides of tests 1 10.98 MPa. The elongation test values are sample 1 23.79%, sample 2 22.00%, sample 3 19.16%, and sample 4 23.80%. In the after effects of biodegradation tests with soil media, the worth is near sample 2 which can be evaluated by 51.5% with an ideal structure of the proportion of CaCO3 and glycerol 0.3 g : 15 mL.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' basic culinary practice skills through the application of the hands-on cooking method. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and skill tests, with instruments in the form of observation sheets and test questions that have been validated by experts. Data analysis is carried out descriptively and quantitatively to see the increase in students' skills from pre-cycle to cycle II. The results of the study showed a significant increase in basic culinary practice skills. At the pre-cycle stage, the average student skills were at 54.56% with (fair category). After the hands-on cooking method was applied, the average value increased to 67.38% (good category) in cycle I, and reached 81.06% (very good category) in cycle II. The conclusion of this study is that the hands-on cooking method is proven to be effective in improving students' basic culinary practice skills. This method not only makes students more active in learning, but also helps them think creatively, face challenges, and develop problem-solving skills directly through practical experience in the field.

Abstract

Packaging design is an essential competency for Culinary Vocational High School students in line with the growth of the packaging industry in Indonesia. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in the Creative Vocational Project subject focusing on packaging design elements through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in class XI Culinary 4 at SMKN 6 Surabaya with 36 students as subjects. The research was designed in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data were collected through observations of learning activities and student activities, as well as cognitive learning outcome tests. The results showed a significant improvement in learning activities from 72% (sufficient category) in cycle I to 84% (good category) in cycle II. Student activities also increased from 79% (sufficient category) to 81.6% (good category). The most significant improvement was seen in cognitive learning outcomes with the percentage of student mastery increasing from 72.2% in cycle I to 86.1% in cycle II, with the average score increasing from 77.6 to 85.6. Providing stronger motivation and more effective classroom management in cycle II contributed to improved learning outcomes. The implementation of the Discovery Learning model proved effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding and practical skills in packaging design, while also developing critical thinking skills and creativity relevant to industry demands.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of digital-based student management on the development of students' interests and talents through a literature review. Digitalisation in student management facilitates data management, accelerates communication between schools, students, and parents, and expands students' access to various self-development programmes. The results of the study indicate that the application of information technology in student management can improve administrative efficiency, monitoring transparency, and student participation in extracurricular activities. In addition, a data-driven approach enables schools to design more targeted and measurable interest and talent development programmes. However, challenges such as the digital divide and limited technological competence among educators still need to be addressed. Overall, digital-based student management has great potential to support the optimal development of students' interests and talents, provided that it is supported by continuous evaluation and collaboration among all relevant parties.

Abstract

Stunting tetap menjadi tantangan kesehatan yang cukup serius di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Wonokalang. Fenomena ini disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi yang berlangsung lama sejak masa kehamilan hingga periode balita, dan berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan serta perkembangan anak. Posyandu sebagai garda terdepan dalam layanan kesehatan masyarakat berperan sangat penting dalam mencegah dan mengurangi angka stunting, terutama melalui program Pos Gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran posyandu dalam mengurangi angka stunting di Desa Wonokalang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kader serta tenaga kesehatan, dan juga pengamatan langsung terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan Pos Gizi di lapangan. Temuan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa program Pos Gizi dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap tahun dengan fokus pada kelompok balita, ibu hamil, dan calon pengantin. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan meliputi pemantauan status gizi, penyuluhan tentang gizi, pemberian makanan tambahan, serta pendampingan intensif bagi keluarga yang memiliki balita berisiko stunting. Keterlibatan aktif dari kader posyandu dan kerjasama dengan tenaga kesehatan terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat akan pentingnya gizi yang seimbang dan memperbaiki pola asuh anak. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah posyandu memainkan peran yang sangat strategis dalam mengurangi angka stunting melalui pelaksanaan program Pos Gizi yang terstruktur dan berkesinambungan. Dengan adanya kerjasama antara masyarakat, kader, dan tenaga kesehatan, angka stunting di Desa Wonokalang bisa ditekan dengan signifikan.
