Abstract

Ethnomathematics is the finding of mathematics in the cultural values of a place. Indonesia has many kinds of cultures, and ethnomathematics research has been done in some areas of Indonesia. This study aims to identify the cultural forms and mathematical materials found in ethnomathematical research in Indonesia. The research method used is a literature review. The stages of the research method included selecting a topic, developing tools of argumentation, searching the literature, surveying the literature, critiquing the literature, and writing the thesis. The instruments used were Google Scholar, the search engine, and the NVivo application. The number of articles analyzed was 88 articles. These articles represent the culture spread across 34 provinces of Indonesia. The research results obtained are cultural forms containing mathematical material, including ideas, activities, and artifacts. Mathematical materials explored in these cultures include statistics, trigonometry, vector, algebra, arithmetic, one-dimensional geometry, two-dimensional geometry, three-dimensional geometry, coordinate geometry, transformation geometry, calculus, logic, and opportunity. The complexity of the culture and material found in mathematics shows that ethnomathematical research can be developed in all forms of culture and applied in various mathematics learning materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerawanan gempa di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan salah satu metode pada fuzzy yaitu metode Sugeno orde nol. Data yang digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian ini ada tiga variabel, yaitu: Kedalaman Gempa Bumi, Kekuatan Gempa Bumi, dan Jarak Gempa Bumi. Penulis mendapatkan data gempa berupa tiga variabel tersebut dari Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) Yogyakarta. Data gempa bumi yang digunakan merupakan data gempa bumi di Yogyakarta pada tahun 2014 sampai dengan 2016 atau selama 6 tahun. Banyak data gempa bumi yang digunakan untuk penelitian sebanyak 300 data yang kemudian 225 data dikategorikan sebagai data training dan 72 data dikategorikan sebagai data testing. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai MAPE sebesar 3,5493% untuk data training dan 1,2731% untuk data testing, sehingga diketahui akurasi data training adalah 96,4506% dan akurasi data testing sebesar 98,7268%.Kata kunci: gempa bumi, fuzzy, sugeno orde nol.

Abstract

The potential for geothermal energy is very abundant, but its utilization is still minimal. Therefore, the utilization of geothermal energy facility that has been installed must be optimized. This study aims to predict drilling rate of penetration using the first-order Sugeno’s fuzzy system. Fuzzy c-mean and singular value decomposition were used to form the rules and determined the parameters respectively. This study used in total of 6738 data of geothermal wells drilling in Indonesia. The results show that the rate of penetration prediction has accuracy 85.76% for data training and 87.72% for data testing, and it is better than the radial basis function neural networks (RBFNN) and RBFNN-singular value decomposition (SVD) methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan daerah rawan bencana alam di Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang terdiri dari 35 kabupaten/kota berdasarkan jumlah kejadian bencana, jumlah korban bencana, dan jumlah kerusakan bencana. Data penelitian diperoleh dari website BNPB tahun 2018-2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Fuzzy C-Means (nilai , , , dan  setiap tahun secara berurutan adalah ) dengan menggunakan bantuan software R untuk menganalisis data dan ArcGis untuk membuat peta rawan bencana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) 2018: 14 daerah cukup rawan bencana dan 21 daerah tidak rawan bencana; (2) 2019: 23 daerah tidak rawan bencana dan 12 daerah rawan bencana; (3) 2020: 11 daerah rawan bencana dan 24 daerah tidak rawan bencana; (4) 2021: 2 daerah sangat tidak rawan bencana, 1 daerah cukup rawan bencana, 5 daerah sangat rawan bencana, dan 27 daerah tidak rawan bencana; (5) 2022: 1 daerah rawan bencana, 1 daerah sangat rawan bencana, 2 daerah cukup rawan, 4 daerah tidak rawan bencana, dan 27 daerah sangat tidak rawan bencana. Hasil pemetaan ditampilkan dalam bentuk peta rawan bencana setiap tahun 2018-2022. Terdapat beberapa kenaikan tingkat kerawanan di kabupaten/kota, seperti  Kabupaten Batang, Kabupaten Jepara, dan Kabupaten Kebumen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi atau memprediksi harga nikel menggunakan sistem fuzzy metode Mamdani dan mendeskripsikan tingkat keakuratan sistem yang dibentuk. Data yang digunakan data harga nikel dunia 4 tahun terakhir yaitu data mulai Januari 2014 sampai Desember 2017. Sistem Fuzzy Mamdani diawali dengan pembagian data menjadi training data (TR) dan checking data (CK). TR digunakan sebagai data pembuat sistem, sedangkan CK adalah data yang akan diuji menggunakan sistem yang telah dibentuk pada TR. Selanjutnya TR dan CK dipasangkan menjadi pasangan input-output data sesuai banyaknya input yang diinginkan. Variabel input pada penelitian ini adalah data harga nike pada bulan-bulan sebelumnya yang didefinisikan sebagai dan . Variabel output pada penelitian ini adalah data harga nikel yang didefinisikan . Selanjutnya berturut-turut proses yang dilakukan untuk memprediksi harga nikel dan menentukan tingkat keakuratan sistem yang dibangun yaitu melakukan fuzzifikasi, membentuk rule, melakukan inferensi, defuzzifikasi, dan menetapkan nilai MAPE untuk menentukan system error yang dibangun. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun sudah cukup baik untuk memprediksi harga nikel dengan error sebesar 7% .

Abstract

The complexity of the IRT analysis makes it difficult to perform manually, therefore requiring easy-to-use software. While many software options exist for IRT analysis, the high cost of paid software can make it inaccessible for many students and lecturers in Indonesia. While the mirt package provides a complete, free option for IRT analysis, it requires proficiency in the R programming language to use. This study aims to develop an R package for IRT analysis, equipped with a user-friendly interface based on the mirt package, designed to be easy to use for beginners in IRT analysis. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model is used for development, which includes five stages: Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, and System. The resulting package is named irtawsi and includes functionality comparable to paid software. This package can calibrate both test and non-test instruments using various IRT models, such as the Rasch, 2PL, 3PL, 4PL, GRM, PCM, and GPCM model. The irtawsi package functionality includes (1) an easy-to-use user interface, (2) automatic interpretation of analysis results, (3) a guide for IRT analysis, (4) recommendations when assumptions are not met, (5) an HTML report format for analysis results,(6) support for two languages (Indonesian and English), (7) it’s free, and (8) can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Abstract

Abstrak Dalam dunia ilmu pengetahuan, matematika disebut sebagai bahasa ilmu pengetahuan. Artinya disiplin ilmu ini merupakan pondasi dasar dari semua cabang disiplin keilmuan lainnya. Jika kemampuan matematika seseorang cukup baik, maka mudah bagi seseorang tersebut untuk menguasai keilmuan yang lain begitu juga sebaliknya. Oleh karena itu, perlu kiranya memfasilitasi peserta didik dengan berbagai hal yang dapat meningkatkan pemahamannya terhadap setiap materi dalam bidang studi matematika. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mengusulkan diadakannya kegiatan pemantapan dan penyediaan modul yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai akademik para siswa. Untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas dari kegiatan ini, kami menggunakan uji normalitas gain dengan one group pre and post test design yang diaplikasikan pada bab himpunan di SMP Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan. Dari penelitian ini merepresentasikan dominasi efektivitas pada level sedang sebanyak 48,875%, disusul level tinggi dan rendah dengan persentasi yang sama sebesar 35 % dan tidak efektif sebesar 4.635 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa usulan pengadaan kegiatan pemantapan dan penyediaan modul memberi pengaruh keefektivan pemahaman para siswa terhadap materi pelajaran cukup signifikan, sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan nilai akademik peserta didik.
