Abstract

Breast-feeding to newborns is one of the efforts to prevent death and undernourishment problems in infants and toddlers, about 15% of the total incidence of children under five years of age in developing countries asa result of exclusive breast-feeding. Exclusive breast milk that is given to infants for up to 6 months is not added to other foods such as formula, lemon, honey, tea, water, bananas, milk porridge, cookies, and other foods. Infants who are exclusively breast-fed can avoid diseases. Sick infants are given exclusively by breast feeding can accelerate. This journal's search process electronically and online using one database, which is googgle sholar from 2015-2020 . The inklational criteria of the journal have the same variable as research, the journal used is the journal's 30-200 Indonesian respondents. Based on the journals received results that from the six journals it is evident there is a link between work status and a nutrient pattern in exclusive breast-feeding. This is confirmed by prior research. Thus, mother's work and nutritional patterns influence exclusive breast-feeding.

Abstract

Childbirth is a process of expelling viable products of conception (fetus and urine) out of the uterus through the birth canal or other means. Induction of labor causes the mother to experience discomfort in the form of labor pain. Anxiety is one of the main factors that influences the course of labor and results in a long opening. The husband's role is a very important factor in the labor process, because the husband can foster feelings of self-confidence and form a healthy mentality, so that feelings of anxiety and fear disappear. This research uses an observational analytical research design with a cross sectional approach. Using the accidental sampling technique, a sample of 35 respondents was obtained, from 142 populations, in December at the Merauke District Hospital, the independent variables were husband's support and Misoprostol labor induction using a questionnaire and the dependent variable was maternal anxiety during childbirth using observation. The Chi-Square statistical test was used to determine the relationship between the three variables.       The results of the study showed that the total number of respondents was 35 mothers who received Misoprostol labor induction, the majority (most) received support from their husbands, namely 19 respondents (54.3%) and the most respondents experienced moderate levels of anxiety, namely 16 respondents (45.7 %), and it can be seen that the most common type of misoprostol labor induction administered vaginally to mothers giving birth was 21 respondents (60%). Analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test resulted in p = 0.012 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means it can be concluded that there is an influence of husband's support on the anxiety of mothers who receive misoprostol labor induction at the Merauke District Hospital. In this context, the husband's role as companion and supporter has a significant impact on the level of anxiety of mothers giving birth. First of all, the husband's presence during the labor induction process.

Abstract

In Indonesia, many women experience difficulty in choosing the type of contraception. Factors that influence a mother in choosing an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) are family support, especially her husband, and the role of health workers especially midwives. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's support and the role of health workers on interest in choosing IUD contraception in the Mopah Baru Community Health Center area. This research uses a research design Analytical Observational. With technique accidental sampling A sample of 42 respondents was obtained. Statistical tests are used Chi-Square to find out the relationship between the two variables. Data analysis found that there was a relationship between husband's support and interest in choosing IUD contraception, namely p value = 0.023 < 0.05, and there was no relationship between the role of health workers and interest in choosing IUD contraception, namely p value = 0.167 > 0.05. The need for husband's support for wives in choosing IUD contraception emotional, instrumental, appraisal, and informational support.

Abstract

Maternal deaths are one of the causes of delays in making referral decisions. This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of the family and the role of midwives in decision making for referrals for maternal complications in the Kuprik Community Health Center working area.This research uses an analytical observational research design with a cross sectional approach. Using the accidental sampling technique, a sample of 30 respondents was obtained, the independent variable (family role and midwife's role) and the dependent variable (referral decision making) using a questionnaire. The Chi-Square statistical test was used to determine the relationship between the two variables.The research results showed that the majority of respondents had families who did not play a role in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications, namely 17 respondents (56.7%), the majority of respondents had a role for midwives in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications, namely 27 respondents (90%) , and the majority of respondents refused to be referred, namely 16 respondents (53.3%).Chi-Square statistical test analysis found that there was a relationship between the role of the family in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications (p value = 0.000 < 0.05), and there was no relationship between the role of midwives in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications (p value = 0.088 > 0, 05).The need for a good family role in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications through the role of the husband, wife's parents and in-laws. Apart from that, the midwife's role in making decisions regarding referrals for maternal complications must be increased to the role of facilitator.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a pain in the abdomen that originates from cramps in the uterus and occurs during menstruation. Dysmenorrhea is divided into two, called primary dysmenorrhea if the underlying cause is not found, and called secondary dysmenorrhea if the cause is an abnormality. The aim of this study was to find out the difference in the effectiveness of giving young coconut water and carrot juice against the scale of dysmenorrhea in teenage princesses. Pre-experimental research design with research approach two group comparison pre-test and post-test design. The research population was the entire teenage princess of class XI in SMAN 3 City of Kediri with a sample of 32 respondents using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used are the observation sheet and the FRS pain scale. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in the effectiveness of the administration of young coconut water and carrot juice against the dysmenorrhea scale with a p-value of 0.047 < α. (0,05). The findings of this study showed that giving young coconut water (p-value 0,000) was more effective in decreasing dysmenorrhea in teenage girls compared to giving carrot juice. (p-value 0,008).

Abstract

Postpartum bluesis something that needs to be considered, because it is a mental disorder (affective) that occurs in women after giving birth. Postpartum blues is a period of emotional stress that occurs in 80% of mothers after giving birth. Social problems, environment, family relationships, and medical history such as premenstrual syndrome (PMS) can be predisposing factors for postpartum blues. Support from midwives is needed so that it can be addressed immediately if the mother feels symptoms of postpartum blues. The purpose of this study was to analyze the signs and symptoms of premenstrual syndrome with the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers on the seventh day at PMB Lailatul Mariam, A.Md.Keb. This type of research uses a cross-sectional analytical method. The number of samples was 35 people with accidental sampling. The statistical test used was the Fisher's Exact Test. The results of this study were that most postpartum mothers experienced premenstrual syndrome and postpartum blues, namely17 respondents (48.6%). The results of the study mshowed no significant signs and symptoms of premenstrual syndrome with the occurrence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers on the seventh day becausethe p-value > ɑ (0.451> 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between signs and symptoms of premenstrualsyndrome with the occurrence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers on the seventh day at PMB Lailatul Mariam, A.Md.Keb.

Abstract

Efforts to indirectly prevent stunting incidents, namely through sensitive intervention efforts, are various development activities outside the health sector targeting the general public, activities include providing clean water, various poverty alleviation efforts, food and nutrition security, and others. The incidence of stunting at Bululawang Health Center reached 15.32% while in Krebet Village it was 15.13%. Based on the increasing incidence of stunting at Bululawang Health Center, researchers are interested in examining the risk factors that influence the incidence of stunting in terms of pregnancy history at Tunas Bangsa PAUD, Krebet Village, Bululawang Health Center work area.The research design uses correlational analytics with a cross-sectional approach.Population All mothers who have children at Paud Tunas Bangsa, Krebet Village, Bululawang Health Center Working Area, purposive sampling technique. The independent variables in this study are Risk Factors, while the dependent variable is stunting. Data analysis using the Chi Square testThe results of the study obtained testing of risk factors affecting stunting in toddlers are the Asymp. Sign value <0.05. Based on the table above, the value that is <0.05 is questions 2,3, 4. It is interpreted that there are 3 risk factors during pregnancy that affect stunting in toddlers. While the other 4 factors in the questionnaire do not affect stunting in infants.Based on the results of research and discussion on risk factors that influence stunting during pregnancy at Bululawang Health Center on May 12, - May 18, it can be concluded as follows: Respondents were 30 people, with the characteristics of toddler respondents who were indicated as stunting as many as 11 toddlers and risk factor analysis as many as 7 questions. The test results used the chi-square method on each risk factor for stunting indications with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that Lila, Anemia, and Pregnancy Complications were risk factors that influenced the incidence of stunting at Bululawang Health Center.

Abstract

Low maternal knowledge about the benefits of prenatal exercise so that pregnant women do not take prenatal classes. Many pregnant women do not take prenatal classes because no one accompanies them because other family members, especially their husbands, are at work. Husbands have a significant role in the compliance of pregnant women in taking prenatal classes. To improve the implementation of prenatal classes, it can be done by increasing several factors that can influence the implementation of prenatal classes in Trimester III, including increasing the role of the family, especially husband's support. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between husband's support for the application of prenatal classes at home and preparation for childbirth for pregnant women in Trimester III. This study uses a quantitative research method using a cross-sectional approach. The population studied were pregnant women in the third trimester in March in the Kandangan Health Center Work Area, Kediri Regency, totaling 35 people, using the total sampling technique. With the independent variable being husband's support for the application of prenatal classes at home, and the dependent variable being preparation for childbirth for pregnant women in the third trimester. The research results were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test statistically, it was found that the Exact Sig.(2-tailed) p value obtained a result of 0.41, which means that the Exact Sig.(2-tailed) p value < 0.05, soaccepted means there is a relationshipH_1Husband's support for the application of home pregnancy classes for preparing pregnant women for childbirth in the third trimesterin the working area of the Kandangan Health Center, Kediri Regency.Husband's support is the most dominant factor influencing the participation of pregnant women in pregnancy classes. Motivation and support from the husband are things that influence the preparation of childbirth for pregnant women in the third trimester in applying pregnancy classes at home. When the husband supports and is involved in implementing pregnancy exercises at home, it can make pregnant women in the third trimester more prepared to face childbirth.

Abstract

According to the 2015 ministry of health of the republic of Indonesia data, the proportion of deliveries in health care facilities in Indonesia was 79%. This shows that the proportion of deliveries in non-health workers is still high. While in Central Sulawesi province, the proportion of deliveries in health care facilities is approximately 30%. The results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers in Loru Village, Biromaru Health Center Working Area, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province by interviewing 10 pregnant women, it was found that 5 (50%) pregnant women did not know about the signs and dangers of labor. The statement of one of the mothers was that there was a lack of knowledge in choosing the right birth attendant. This causes the behavior of mothers and family members to carry out pregnancy checks with midwives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Knowledge and the Selection of Birth Assistance in mothers in Loru Village, Biromaru Health Center Working Area, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The design of this study was correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 37 respondents. Then for sampling using the Accidental Sampling technique. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis used the Chi square test. The results of the study showed that most respondents had good knowledge about childbirth, which was 54.1%, in addition, most respondents chose to be assisted by health workers in giving birth, which was 83.8%. The results of the chi square test showed a relationship between knowledge and the selection of assistants with a P Value of 0.012 <α = 0.05. Abstract

Problems on the stimulation provided when the child is a child too are required to develop their cognitive intelligence but limited his creativity. One of the efforts to improve children's creativity is through constructive play. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of constructive game block of flats with the development of creativity in pre-school age children in kindergarten Dharma Wanita Tosaren II Kediri. This study was an observational study with cross sectional approach. By using simple random sampling technique obtained a sample 34 respondents. The independent variables studied were constructive play a block of flats, the dependent variable under study was the development of creativity. The instrument used is the observation sheet, the results were analyzed using chi square test at the significant level of 5%. The results showed most respondents carry out constructive play, with 21 respondents (58.33%) and the majority of respondents have a level of creativity in the creative category, ie 19 respondents (52.78%). Results of analysis of the data shows the p-value (0.008) <α (0.05), meaning there is a constructive game block of flats with the development of creativity in pre-school age children in kindergarten Dharma Wanita Tosaren II of Kediri with the level of closeness of the relationship in the medium category. Stacking blocks constructive play stimulates the formation of new nerve fibers to improve intelligence and memory of children, in addition to the child's imagination took honed thereby encouraging better kretifitasnya that is able to create something new with a variety that has been exemplified
