Abstract

The goal to be achieved from this study is to Improve Critical and Creative Thinking Skills, as well as Increase Students' Interest in Learning Biology in Class XI A4 SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi Through the Application of the Synectics, Mind Maps, Cooperative Learning (SM2CL) Learning Model. The problems in this study are low interest in learning students; Students are more likely to be passive when studying; Teachers have never used learning models that can make students think critically and creatively; Learning is more teacher-centered. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The results of the research conducted in class XI A4 of SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi showed that the acquisition of scores in the first cycle with a classical completion percentage of 38.88% increased to 66.66% in the second cycle. Although the classical completeness did not reach 75%, individually. Namely, 24 out of 36 students got a satisfactory score above the KKM, the highest score of 95, and the lowest score of 85 in cycle II. The score obtained from the learning interest questionnaire in the first cycle was at the percentage of 68% to 70% in the second cycle, and both were in a good category. Then, subject teachers and the school need to consider and evaluate some things, namely, the character of 12 students who did not want to do assignments at all from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk bahan ajar dan mengetahui kelayakan dari pengembangan bahan ajar yang dikemas dalam bentuk e-modul menggunakan lalat buah (Drosophila melanogaster) pada kajian pewarisan sifat hukum mendel I dan II yang layak digunakan oleh peserta didik sebagai sumber belajar jenis penelitian ini digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan merupakan penelitian R&D menggunakan desain penelitian yang disederhanakan dan dimodifikasi oleh Rengkuan (2012) dari desain penelitian yang dipresentasikan oleh Kemp dan Dayton (1995) yang sebelumnya memiliki 9 langkah menjadi 4 langkah utama, yaitu 1) penyusunan, 2) desain, 3) pengembangan dan 4) uji coba. Hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh presentase 81% mencapai kriteria sangat Valid, hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh presentase 96% mencapai kriteria sangat valid, hasil validasi guru biologi memperoleh presentase 97% memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, dengan demikian produk di uji kepada peserta didik,berdasarkan respon peserta didik 83,2% mencapai kualifikasi Sangat layak.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan pastoral merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam mendorong keterlibatan jemaat dalam kehidupan bergereja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan pastoral dalam membangun partisipasi aktif jemaat di Gereja Eklesia Wonosobo. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan pastoral yang bersifat visioner, komunikatif, dan partisipatif mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan jemaat dalam kegiatan ibadah, pelayanan sosial, pendidikan, dan misi gereja. Namun demikian, masih terdapat tantangan seperti rendahnya kesadaran sebagian jemaat terhadap pentingnya pelayanan bersama dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan pastoral yang berorientasi pada pelayanan dan pemberdayaan jemaat merupakan kunci dalam membangun gereja yang hidup dan relevan di tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

Virus material in high school biology often causes learning difficulties due to its abstract nature and difficulty in visualizing. This condition results in low student conceptual mastery and high potential for misconceptions. This study aims to map the pattern of student learning difficulties in the virtual material and the factors that cause it. Descriptive research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tondano in April 2025, involving 21 grade X-1 students selected using a simple random technique. Data were collected through observation, written tests (15 multiple-choice questions and 5 essays), and questionnaires on difficulty factors covering aspects of self, family, school, and society. The test instrument was tested for validity with point-biserial correlation and reliability, KR-20, resulting in a coefficient of 0.63, indicating sufficient reliability. The results of the study showed that the average student conceptual mastery only reached 31.14, far below the Minimum Completion Criteria (70). The memory aspect (C1) was higher (34.19%) than the understanding aspect (C2) (26.45%), indicating the dominance of memorisation. A total of 47.61% of students were in the high difficulty category, while 23.8% were in the very high difficulty category. The dominant external factors came from the school environment (88%), particularly limited visual media and laboratory facilities, followed by family support (83.2%), while community influence was lower (52.2%). Internal factors such as student interest, motivation, and attention also contributed significantly.In conclusion, students' learning difficulties in viruses were dominated by weak conceptual understanding and limited learning resources. Innovative learning strategies based on visualization, interactive technology media, concept maps, and virtual laboratories are needed. Practical implications: Biology teachers need to design more contextual and visual learning experiences, utilize technology, and provide space for exploratory activities to strengthen student understanding.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam memahami topik sistem pencernaan hewan dengan mengadopsi metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping di SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian difokuskan pada sampel sebanyak 20 siswa kelas XIB yang memanfaatkan teknik pembelajaran Mind Mapping. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan meliputi pemanfaatan tes dan observasi. Secara tradisional, hasil belajar siswa yang dicapai dengan pembelajaran Mind Mapping pada siklus I adalah 70%, dan persentase ini meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa kelas XIB Peminatan di SMA Negeri 2 Tondano.

Abstract

Scientific learning plays an important role in the development of students' understanding of concepts and skills in science. Although there are often obstacles in providing practical experience to students, this triggers teacher creativity and innovation to overcome the limitations of tools and materials at school. This study aims to design a practicum guide based on simple tools and materials that are feasible to use to improve student understanding in scientific learning at school. The research method used in this study is the development research method according to Borg and Gall (1983) modified by Rengkuan and Howan (2016), into five development steps which include: (1) Need Analysis & Reference Study, (2) Material Development, (3) Expert Validation, (4) Try Out, (5) Final Production. The results showed the feasibility of designing a practicum guide based on simple tools and materials obtained from material experts with a percentage of 93.3% with a very feasible category, from media experts with a percentage of 90.3% with a very feasible category, from student practicality assessments with a percentage of 84.3% with a very feasible category, and from teacher responses with a percentage of 90.3% with a very feasible category. So it can be concluded that the design of practicum guides based on simple tools and materials is very feasible to use to improve student understanding in scientific learning at school. <

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews with class This research aims to find out whether the mind mapping model can improve student learning outcomes in plant tissue material in class XI Tumou Tou Christian High School. This research uses a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experiment). The subjects of this research were class XI-A as the experimental class and class XI-C as the control class. Both classes will be given learning outcomes tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Based on the results of data analysis, the results showed that there was an influence of the mind mapping model on student learning outcomes in plant tissue material in class XI Tumou Tou Christian High School. This is based on the results of the t test using IBM SPSS for Windows if the Sig. (2-tailed) < Research Alpha (0.05), namely 0.00 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of applying the mind mapping model on improving student learning outcomes in plant tissue material in class XI Tumou Tou Christian High School.

The method used in this research is the experimental method with a completely randomized design (RAL) approach. This shows that rice husk charcoal and planting media have different average values for plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, number of fruit and weight of white cayenne pepper. At the 12th week of observation, the M2ASP2 treatment had the highest value compared to other treatments, namely124.65 ± 31.73cm. Meanwhile treatment M1 ASP 0has the lowest value, namely79.23 ± 21.9cm.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with a tropical climate so it has a large forest area. High rainfall and sufficient solar irradiation make the diversity of living things both flora and fauna very high. This study aims to identify and determine the level of diversity of forestry plants in the forest area of Manado State University, North Sulawesi. This research will be carried out in April - May 2023 in the forest area of Manado State University, North Sulawesi. Sampling in this study was carried out using the Purposive Sampling (Judgmental Sampling) technique with 9 plots in 3 observation stations. The results of the study found that in all sampling plots, there were 17 individuals of forestry plants with 9 species. The highest Important Value Index (IVI) belongs to the species Petrocarpus indicus with an IVI of 61%. The Shannon Winner diversity index H = 2.07 was found to be in the medium category.
