Abstract

Garbage in Indonesia is still a very troubling issue for the community. Lack of public awareness of the importance of being clean is still a problem. Likewise the importance of improving the quality of primary school education. Based on the description and problems above, the community service activities carried out are providing environmental education in waste management and improving the quality of primary school education through community service programs in Geger Village, Turi District, Lamongan Regency. Geger village was chosen as a place of community service because in this village there is still very little awareness of the community about the importance of maintaining cleanliness by not littering in rivers or rice fields. In the village of Geger there is also a lack of teaching staff for primary schools, so that there is often one teacher teaching for two classes, due to lack of teachers. In carrying out this service activity, there are two programs implemented, namely improving primary school education through soft skills and environmental education in waste management. Programs implemented include: educational programs in the form of school services, learning stimulations, character education, and synergy between parents, teachers, and students. For school service activities, in the form of physical activities by cleaning classrooms, cleaning windows, and grasses. Character education is done by shaping student behavior such as: polite behavior, as we do by shaking hands when going home from school, greeting the teacher when we meet, apologizing to the teacher or friend, saying thank you when receiving help and much more other positive things. In waste education, the program implemented: the separation between organic and non-organic waste, the making of a waste bank, the management of waste to produce organic fertilizer.

Abstract

Batik Sidoarjo has two regions that became the trademark of Sidoarjo batik, batik and batik Jetisan of Jetis Kenongo of Reinforcement. The difference they are located on the motifs, colors and history. Batik motif Jetisan has a classic and just a few modifications. As for the batik Kenongo is the work of designer prior to 2006 lapindo mud disaster befall Sidoarjo district, Sidoarjo batik craft centers visited by many cutomers from different areas. Sidoarjo batik is one tourist destination shopping in Sidoarjo, in addition to industrial centers and industrial bags and luggage thunderstorm Sidoarjo. But since the Lapindo mud disaster occurs, there is also a decrease of sales turnover by 60%. The fall in sales turnover also resulted in a decrease in revenue received craftsmen. In order to decrease turnover not there are some things that can be done by the craftsmen, among others: 1) Create a model of the design development of batik design innovative and varied, and original works of craftsmen, especially batik today's competition more rapidly, 2) select and define marketing strategies appropriate.

Abstract

Banyaknya keluhan dan pengaduan masyarakat, baik secara langsung maupun melalui media massa tentang rendahnya kualitas pelayanan publik yang diterima masyarakat menjadi salah satu indikator rendahnya kualitas penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik saat ini. Pelaksanaan Citizen;s Charter adalah suatu cara pendekatan pelayanan publik yang terbaik. Aspirasi masyarakat lebih bisa diakomodasikan, pelayanan yang diberikan menjadi lebih baik meski disisi lain diperlukan adanya dukungan teknologi untuk mempercepat dan mempermudah layanan, yaitu dengan penerapan Sistem Informasi Puskesmas (Sispusk) secara On-line.

Abstract

Kondisi umum penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik di Propinsi Jawa Timur masih dihadapkan pada sistem pelayanan dari aparatur pemerintah yang belum maksimal atau pelayanan publik yang diberikan ke masyarakat masih kurang efektif dan efisien. Hal ini terlihat dari masih banyaknya keluhan dan pengaduan dari masyarakat, baik secara langsung maupun melalui media massa tentang rendahnya kualitas pelayanan publik yang diterima masyarakat. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini antara lain bahwa pelaksanaan Citizen’s Charter atau CC adalah suatu cara pendekatan pelayanan publik yang terbaik di Puskesmas Bendo, dimana aspirasi atau keinginan masyarakat lebih bisa diakomodasikan di tengah-tengah perilaku feodalisme dari para birokrasi yang masih banyak memilih untuk tidak mau disentuh atau dimasuki oleh masyarakat terutama dengan kritikan-kritikan dari masyarakat. Namun dengan adanya CC ini kedudukan antara masyarakat dan birikrat menjadi sejajar, tidak ada yang dimenangkan dan yang dikalahkan. Masyarakat dianggap sebagai pusat perhatian dan bukan sebagai raja. Tetapi dengan CC ini pemda mencoba menerima kritikan dan keinginan dari masyarakat serta segala macam kebaikan atau aturan yang dikeluarkan oelh pemerintah dengan tetap harus memperhatikan kepentingan masyarakat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini diberikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk, manajemen dan pemasaran. Adapun beberapa permasalahan yang ada terkait dengan mitra adalah permasalahan aspek produksi, permasalahan aspek manajemen, dan permasalahan aspek pemasaran. Metode kegiatan (1) pelatihan, praktek, dan pendampingan pembuatan minuman lidah buaya dengan berbagai varian rasa, (2) pelatihan, praktek, dan pendampingan materi manajemen proses bisnis tentang standar manajemen mutu, (3) pelatihan, praktek, dan pendampingan manajemen usaha berbasis syariah (4) desain dan layout ruang display produk baru, ruang produksi, ruang penyimpanan bahan baku dan produk, (5) rancang bangun mesin pengupas dan potong bahan baku lidah buaya. Hasil dan luaran: (1) produk minuman yang bervariasa rasa serta kemasan yang menarik, (2) dokumen proses bisnis dan manajemen mutu usaha, (3) mendapat modal pengembangan usaha, (4) desain dan layout ruang display untuk produk baru, ruang produksi, ruang penyimpanan bahan baku, dan produk.

Abstract

Batik tulis merupakan batik tradisional Indonesia yang paling baik dan tradisional. Proses pembuatan batik tulis melalui tahap-tahap yang rumit, selain juga tidak dijumpai pola ulang yang dikerjakan sama, artinya meski sedikit pasti ada perbedaan, misalnya sejumlah titik atau lengkungan garis. Kekurangan ini merupakan kelebihan dari hasil pekerjaan tangan, karena pada proses pembatikan jenis ini sering terjadi gerakan spontan yang merupakan faktor pembeda dengan batik cap. Disamping itu, untuk batik cap desain dasar batiknya telah ditentukan terlebih dahulu dan di buat pola-polanya dalam sebuah papan cap/pencetak. Sedangkan batik tulis dilakukan secara manual yaitu digambar dengan tangan oleh para pengrajin-pengrajin. Hasilnya tentu berbeda, batik cap lebih terpola, teratur namun terkesan kaku sedangkan batik tulis lebih terkesan dinamis karena kesan desainnya yang lebih luwes sesuai dengan kreasi yang menggambarnya.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kelurahan Tebel Barat Desa Tebel Kecamatan Gedangan Kabupaten Sidoarjo merupakan salah satu program dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam penataan kampung bendo dari kampung yang kumuh dan tidak tertata menjadi kampung yang tertata rapi, indah dan asri. Perkampungan yang kumuh menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh warga desa Tebel Barat kecamatan Gedangan. Atas inisiatis serta swadaya dari warga masyarakat, kampung Bendo dari kampung yang kumuh, banyak sampah, tidak tertata disulap menjadi kampong yang tertata rapi serta bersih. Dengan memanfaatkan berbagai potensi yang dimiliki oleh warga kampung Bendo, yang merupakan asset yang dipunya oleh warga masyarakat., maka kampung Bendo ditata menjadi kampung nan asri. Metode dalam pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan, praktek, dan pendampingan upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat, manajemen, sosialisasi baik secara internal maupun secara eksternal. Pelatihan, praktek, dan pendampingan materi manajemen proses bisnis dan ISO 9001: 2015 tentang standar manajemen mutu. Pelatihan, praktek, dan pendampingan manajemen usaha berbasis syariah. Hasil dari program pengabdian ini adalah terciptanya kampung yang indah nan asri, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

villages in Surabaya that has a very dense population. In this digital era, children and young people are less aware of the need to read. In the tongue, teenagers are not so concerned with learning. Bhayangkara University in Surabaya held a Community Service program which took place in the Lidah Wetan Hamlet, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya City. With the theme "Preserving Literacy Culture". The program is inseparable from the vision and mission of local village officials. With the mini library created by Community Service Team, Bhayangkara University is expected to increase the enthusiasm and interest in reading in the surrounding community. This mini library provides a variety of books ranging from children's story books, learning books to read, learning books to write, learning books to draw, school materials, to religious nuances books and other books (food recipes, fiction stories, etc.). Some programs are directed at encouraging children's potential in reading culture and fostering youthful enthusiasm in organizing. Nowadays many young people are trying to challenge Karangtaruna. Several agendas are designed to solve these problems.

Abstract

Bureaucracy of regional government in reformation era is demanded to affors in creating clean and good, transparency, responsive, efficient and effective government as well. The demand is increasingly avoidable by public distrust because of KKN (Corruption, Collution, Nepotism) practice in government bureaucracy wich is increasingly systemic and privade to areas of region. Bureaucracy reformation is the needy wich capable to lessen KKN practical, it is, however in appropriate if phenomena tern only in administrative technigues. Public servant status must be put to have main role from government bureaucracy to create good local governance. This study want to examine comprehensively how bureaucracy of government to increase public servant in the framework of good local governance and review the factors of causality relationship as well which influence either bureaucracy internal or external so it able to create clean and accountable in regions. The result from the study is : The development of participatory bureaucracy reformation model and equality wich oriented to public service. Among other creative, innovative and proactive public servant, low cost administration and easy license, transparency cost, fast and easily accessible, society as locust (citizen charter)

Abstract

Today there has been found 69 leprosy colony at 21 province in Indonesia. This reflects that discrimination is still high. “The settlement of Leprosy is exist because they are afraid return to their society, so they will feel saver if they colonize and live in the community. They are increasingly underdeveloped, abandoned and discriminated. Unfortunately, there are a lot of society living in poverty, so this disease still emerges. Socioeconomic has the main role that’s why this disease is more experienced in poor people than the rich. The study want to review comprehensively about Life Skill Implementation Model based local economy in effort to poverty alleviation for former leprosy in East Java and review the relationship causal factors which influence either related to life education/ability problem or poverty one. The result of the study in the first year are: giving chance and increasing the ability of poor people to former leprosy concerning: the easiness to obtain resources, increasing life skill, the utilization of technological process, utilizing the market continuously, and getting services from other financing process. Life Skill Implementation Model based on Local Economic potential as following: insight, paradigm and mental attitude of learning resident is increased so they able to optimize their own potential, change the challenge to increase their living. The increasing of quality facilitation toward the education program implementation of life skill is to supervise the program so the purpose will be achieved, accompaniment model is developed to support life skill education program, optimize the role in every department to implement and develop life skill program as with characteristic and region potential.
