Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the influence of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT Wahana Graha Makmur. The population in this research were all employees of PT Wahana Graha Makmur, totaling 81 employees. The number of samples taken was the population, namely 81 karyawants. This research was conducted from January to June 2024. This research used quantitative data processed with SPSS 24.0 with multiple linear regression method. The results showed that work discipline and work motivation either partially or simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Wahana Graha Makmur. Work discipline was the most dominant variable affecting performance. 91.1% of performance could be explained and obtained from work discipline and work motivation while the rest by other factors. Performance had a very strong relationship to work discipline and work motivation

Abstract

In this paper, the author will discuss the thoughts of Fatima Mernissi in criticizing the hadis on women’s leadership. From the results of her investigation, Mernissi criticized Abu Bakrah in relation to the narration of the hadis as follows: 1) Abu Bakrah is difficult to trace his lineage because he was originally a slave who was freed when he joined the Muslims. 2) Abu Bakrah was sentenced to qazaf, because he could not prove the charge of zina against al-Mughirah ibn Syu’bah at the time of the Caliph Umar bin al-Khattab. 3) Looking at the historical context, why did Abu Bakrah remember this hadis (which, if correctly uttered by the Prophet, means that he has passed a period of approximately 25 years) after knowing Aisha had lost the war, while the initial stance he took was neutral. Based on this rule, Mernissi concluded that Abu Bakrah was a narrator who was rejected, and his hadis was not acceptable. Based on the foregoing reasons, Mernissi concluded that even though the hadis was contained in Sahih al-Bukhari, it was still debated by the jurists. According to her, this hadis is used as an argument to displace women in the decision-making process.

Abstract

This study discusses "Educational Transformation Through Curriculum Introduction: Current Review and Future Challenges" with the aim of exploring the role of curriculum in the process of educational transformation, as well as current approaches and future challenges in its implementation. Using a qualitative methodology with a literature review design, this study examines how changes in the curriculum can increase the relevance and effectiveness of learning. The focus of the research includes the latest approaches such as competency-based curriculum, project-based learning, and technology integration that aims to make learning more applicable and responsive to the needs of the times. Adaptive curriculum models, which adapt to students' learning styles and individual needs, are also being explored as a solution to create a more personalized and effective educational experience. However, the study also identifies challenges in the implementation of the new curriculum, including social and economic gaps, practical constraints, and resistance to change. Strategies to address these challenges include developing policies that support equitable access to education, training for educators, and efficient managerial approaches. The results of the study emphasize the importance of continuous adaptation and improvement of the curriculum to ensure relevant and effective education in the future.Keywords: Educational Transformation, Introduction to Curriculum; Recent surveys; Future challenges Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas "Transformasi Pendidikan Melalui Pengantar Kurikulum: Tinjauan Terkini dan Tantangan Masa Depan" dengan tujuan mengeksplorasi peran kurikulum dalam proses transformasi pendidikan, serta pendekatan terkini dan tantangan masa depan dalam implementasinya. Menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan desain tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana perubahan dalam kurikulum dapat meningkatkan relevansi dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Fokus penelitian meliputi pendekatan terkini seperti kurikulum berbasis kompetensi, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan integrasi teknologi yang bertujuan menjadikan pembelajaran lebih aplikatif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan zaman. Model kurikulum adaptif, yang menyesuaikan dengan gaya belajar dan kebutuhan individu siswa, juga dieksplorasi sebagai solusi untuk menciptakan pengalaman pendidikan yang lebih personal dan efektif. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam implementasi kurikulum baru, termasuk kesenjangan sosial dan ekonomi, kendala praktis, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan ini meliputi pengembangan kebijakan yang mendukung akses pendidikan yang adil, pelatihan bagi pendidik, dan pendekatan manajerial yang efisien. Hasil penelitian menekankan pentingnya adaptasi dan penyempurnaan kurikulum secara berkelanjutan untuk memastikan pendidikan yang relevan dan efektif di masa depan.Kata Kunci: Transformasi Pendidikan,Pengantar Kurikulum; Tinjaun terkini; Tantangan masa depan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the publication trend of green sukuk. The data retrieved from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish. To analyze the data, bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, and Systematic Literature Review were used in this study. The research findings indicate that the distribution of green sukuk studies can be grouped into 96 documents, with 22 documents (23%) being articles, 67 documents (70%) being journals, and 7 documents (7%) being proceedings. Based on language, the majority of the research is conducted in English (68%). The productivity of green sukuk research is evaluated in terms of the most productive journal, which is Environmental Economics (3), the most productive author, S Merlinda (4), the most productive country, Indonesia (69), and the most productive institution, the University of Indonesia. The most cited articles and authors are MA Naeem with 94 citations. The trend of research topics is analyzed based on the use of keywords with network visualization, and overlay visualization. Based on keywords, and SLR analysis, this study reveals 30 topics approximately need further investigation. Since this study focused on bibliometric, next study might deeply focused on SLR.

Abstract

This study examines the dual effects of recognition and appreciation on employee motivation and performance. It aims to address how these elements influence workplace dynamics and explore practical strategies for implementing sustainable recognition and appreciation systems across various organizational contexts. Utilizing a qualitative systematic literature review approach, this research synthesizes findings from recent studies to analyze the roles of recognition and appreciation. The study integrates theoretical frameworks such as Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory and Self-Determination Theory to understand their impact on extrinsic and intrinsic motivation comprehensively. The study reveals that recognition significantly enhances extrinsic motivation by validating employees’ contributions, fostering a sense of achievement, and encouraging task completion. Appreciation strengthens intrinsic motivation by fulfilling psychological needs for relatedness, competence, and autonomy, enhancing emotional engagement and long-term commitment. The synergistic integration of recognition and appreciation optimizes employee performance, increasing engagement, reducing turnover, and promoting organizational citizenship behaviors. The findings emphasize the importance of tailoring these strategies to align with organizational and employee needs while leveraging technology for real-time and accessible implementation. This study offers practical and managerial insights by recommending flexible, technology-based systems to integrate recognition and appreciation into organizational policies. The findings support the development of inclusive and innovative workplace cultures that enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. Furthermore, the research highlights opportunities for future empirical studies to validate these findings and adapt strategies to evolving workplace trends, such as remote and hybrid environments.
