This study delves into the intricate relationships among Job Satisfaction, Situational Leadership, and Employee Performance in organizational settings. The research offers vital insights into these critical aspects of workplace dynamics. First and foremost, the study confirms the significant influence of Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance. It reiterates the well-established fact that contented employees tend to perform better. Organizations are urged to prioritize initiatives aimed at boosting job satisfaction to enhance overall employee performance, leading to increased productivity and organizational success. Secondly, the research unveils an intriguing finding: Situational Leadership, when examined independently, does not directly impact Employee Performance. However, Situational Leadership emerges as a vital factor in shaping Job Satisfaction. This underscores the paramount importance of leadership adaptability and its role in fostering a positive work environment, ultimately contributing to employee contentment. Moreover, when considering Situational Leadership, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance collectively, a robust and positive relationship emerges. This highlights the interconnected nature of these variables, emphasizing the need for organizations to adopt a holistic approach to leadership and employee management. In conclusion, this study provides organizations with valuable insights into optimizing their leadership strategies to enhance employee performance. It underscores the significance of nurturing job satisfaction and cultivating adaptable leadership styles to create a conducive work environment, fostering employee contentment, and, consequently, organizational triumph. Future research may delve deeper into contextual factors to refine these relationships further, offering even more precise guidance for organizations in optimizing their strategies for employee performance and satisfaction.

Abstract

Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) represent a critical mechanism for companies to raise capital by offering their shares to the public for the first time. This study investigates the determinants of stock underpricing in IPO companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2019 and 2022. Specifically, we examine the impact of return on equity (ROE), firm size, firm age, and reputation in terms of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) on stock underpricing. The sample selection process employs a saturated sample methodology, resulting in a final observation-worthy sample of 134 companies from an initial pool of 219. We employ multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 27 program to analyze the data. Our findings reveal that while firm size, age, and KAP reputation do not significantly influence stock underpricing, return on equity emerges as a significant determinant affecting the degree of stock underpricing in IPOs. This research contributes to a better understanding of the dynamics at play in the IPO market, providing valuable insights for investors, policymakers, and market participants.

Abstract

This study explores intercultural dialogue as a strategic approach to leadership development within a bilingual marketing team at PT Danone, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Adopting a qualitative single-case study design, the research investigates how intercultural dialogue is constructed, how cultural identity is negotiated, and how patterns of self-awareness emerge among reflective leaders within a multilingual multinational organization. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analyses involving ten participants from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The analysis generated three overarching themes: (1) Dialogue as a Bridge of Meaning, demonstrating how cross-cultural communication expands mutual understanding beyond linguistic boundaries; (2) Negotiation of Cultural Identity, revealing how recruitment leaders and team members redefine their roles through empathy and reflective engagement; and (3) Leadership Through Dialogical Growth, illustrating that effective leadership evolves through collective interaction rather than hierarchical structure. The study contributes theoretically by positioning intercultural dialogue as a mechanism of leadership learning, and practically by offering insights for multinational corporations to develop reflective leadership models that are inclusive and adaptive to cultural diversity.

Abstract

The growth of the digital economy in Indonesia has created significant opportunities for international brands to expand their market share. However, the success of global brands is not only determined by product quality but also by their ability to understand local cultural values and communicate effectively in a multilingual context. This study aims to analyze the influence of intercultural understanding on international consumer trust in Indonesia. The approach used is explanatory quantitative, with a survey method involving 200 respondents who have purchased international brands in Indonesia. The data was analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that intercultural understanding has a positive and significant effect on international consumer trust. Similarly, a multilingual branding strategy has a positive effect on consumer trust. Furthermore, the moderation results indicate that a multilingual branding strategy strengthens the relationship between intercultural understanding and consumer trust. These findings confirm that a combination of cultural sensitivity and multilingual communication is a key strategy in building consumer trust and loyalty in the Indonesian market. The implications of this research demonstrate the value of cross-cultural adaptation and inclusive communication as the foundation of sustainable global marketing.
