Abstract

The web-based face recognition application will provide convenience for students to LDII organizations or Islamic boarding school, it is possible for the students themselves to give their best in carrying out their activities. Attendance is crucial to any organization. Where participation is one of the key factors that may encourage and support any action that will take place. Operating the attendance system manually at the moment, namely utilizing manual paper. This might lead to a number of errors.and unhygienic times during the pandemic, example is the inefficiency of utilizing paper, forgetting to fill in the absences, missing paper used and using pens alternately causing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. By using Face Recognition, students only show the face to be scanned using a webcam provided by the boarding school teacher. The strategy utilized in this study is rapid application development using modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The Django web framework's tools were then used to create this application, Postgresql and Python programming. This application was built with the aim of making it easier for boarding school teacher and students.

Abstract

At this time it is full of the use of technology everywhere that makes it easier to do everything, tools that support things like that, such as cellphones, computers, the internet and so on. Through this technology someone can easily find the various information they need. In the world of shipping, many need navigation and communication tools for their ship's needs and for that they will go to places that sell these tools to find ship equipment, ship navigation and communication tools consist of several types, namely Navigation Equipment consisting of Radar, Echo Sounder, AIS (Automatic Identification System), Gps and others that must be owned by every ship because it is really needed to help the ship's journey as well as communication tools that must be owned by a ship consisting of VHF Radio, VHF Radio, Satellite Phone, Marine VHF Radio and others that are used to communicate with each other for use by ship people. So, to make it easier to find and buy ship equipment, a technology called a sales application is needed. In this scientific work, the aim is to design a system for customers based on Android, Android is an operation that runs on cellphones and has been widely used by teenagers to adults, but Android is more in demand by many users compared to IOS because the PlayStore application on Android has many application options. The software used in making this system uses the MDLC method, and the results in making this android-based application make the application easy to access for users as well as the application for selling ship navigation and communication tools designed with an attractive appearance and utilizing a media of images, videos that are will increase the level of knowledge of the shipyard. Abstract

Currently the ongoing sales process in Bengkel Top 1 Motor requires the buyer to come and meet in person to purchase the required spareparts. This thus affects the sales process where buyers who come to look for spareparts equipment only reach buyers who are around the workshop, and conventional purchases require in-depth knowledge of employees about prices. System design is the best solution for solving problems and with a computerized system an activity can be achieved that effectively and efficiently supports workshop activities (Abdurrahman & Maspirah, 2017). The Agile development method has the stages used, namely the process of making a design based on mutual agreement in the form of interviews and observation (planning), coding and design (implementation), testing (testing), documentation, disseminating information (deployment), maintenance (Handayani et al., 2023) Apart from being used as an Android communication tool, Android can also be used as a platform to be accessed and developed easily because it supports several devices in making applications, one of which is Android games (Agis et al, 2021).From the problems experienced by the Bengkel Top 1 Motor, it is considered necessary to design a sales application so that the sales process is faster and more efficient.

Abstract

Developing business management applications for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is becoming increasingly important in the ever-changing digital age. A project's success is greatly enhanced by the appropriate software development method. The purpose of this research is to compare RAD and XP methods for MSME business management applications. A thorough examination of the concepts of both RAD and XP helps to understand the significant differences between the two methods. In contrast to RAD, which emphasizes rapid development with short iterations, XP prioritized a team approach that involves continuous testing, flexibility, and agile planning. This research guides software developers and MSME business owners in selecting the appropriate methodology for developing business management applications. By comprehending the distinctions, advantages, and challenges of each approach more thoroughly, it is anticipated to achieve efficiency and success in developing business management applications for MSMEs.

Abstract

The development of technology is getting faster every day, many technologies are used in many fields. The number of new technologies that appear. Innovations made using current technology can ease human work rather than having to be done manually. This research discusses the Design of a Room Temperature Control System Using the Fuzzy Method. The purpose of designing this tool is to control the temperature in the room and is designed in the form of a prototype. With the Fuzzy Mamdani method, this tool can help make human work lighter. This room temperature control uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller, I2C LCD to show the temperature and the number of people in the room, DC Motor Driver as a fan speed regulator, Infrared Sensor to detect people entering and leaving the room, DHT11 Sensor to detect temperature and Fan as a room temperature controller. If the number of people is large and the temperature is getting hotter in the room then, the fan can work to cool the room. The software used in this research is Arduino IDE. Based on the research results, this room temperature control can work effectively.

Abstract

Pendidikan sesuatu hal yang sangat penting bagi seorang individu agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dengan ilmu yang dimiliki. Upaya mewujudkan mutu pendidikan tersebut tentunya menempatkan pendidik sebagai tenaga profesional pada perguruan tinggi. Kinerja dosen menjadi hal yang paling utama dan menjadi perhatian dalam segala proses internalisasi nilai dari perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu pengukuran kinerja seorang tenaga pendidik sangatlah penting bagi pengembangan. Seorang pendidik harus memiliki responsiveness, reliability, apperance dan empathy. Seorang Dosen harus memiliki kemampuan dalam bidang ilmu yang diajarkannya, memiliki kemampuan teoretik tentang mengajar yang baik, mulai perencanaan, implementasi sampai evaluasi, dan memiliki loyalitas keguruan. Penilaian terhadap kinerja dosen tentu adanya suatu prediksi terhadap nilai kepuasan dari mahasiswa. Pemberian nilai tersebut bertujuan untuk kelangsungan sistem pendidikan menjadi lebih baik dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan perguruan tinggi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk memprediksi kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap kinerja dosen menggunakan data mining. Metode yang digunakan klasifikasi pada algoritma C4.5. Algoritma C4.5 yaitu sebuah algoritma yang digunakan untuk membangun decision tree (pengambilan keputusan). Pengujian hasil dari pada data mining algoritma C4.5 dilakukan dengan menggunakan software RapidMiner. Hasil pohon keputusan yang dihasilkan oleh perhitungan manual algoritma C4.5 sama dengan pohon keputusan yang dihasilkan oleh software RapidMiner. Metode decision tree lebih akurat dengan tingkat akurasi 90.00 % dan dengan pengujian software 91.37 %.

Abstract

Abstrak Rusunawa TOP 100 Batam menghadapi permasalahan sampah plastik mencapai 1,2 ton per hari dengan 30% belum terkelola optimal. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan mengkonversi sampah plastik menjadi roster berkualitas untuk meningkatkan ekonomi penghuni rusunawa. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pengembangan teknologi tepat guna, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan selama 8 bulan. Target luaran mencakup peralatan produksi dengan kapasitas 50 kg sampah plastik per hari, pengurangan volume sampah 30%, pembentukan sistem pemasaran digital, dan peningkatan pendapatan 45 anggota komunitas. Program ini mendukung SDGs 1, 8, 11, dan 12 melalui konsep green economy digital. Teknologi pirolisis yang dikembangkan menggunakan reaktor berkapasitas 5-10 kg per batch dengan suhu operasional 300-500°C. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model replikasi untuk rusunawa lain di Indonesia dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah plastik secara berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan; sampah; rusunawa. Abstract Batam's TOP 100 Rusunawa faces a plastic waste problem of up to 1.2 tons per day, with 30% not yet optimally managed. This community empowerment program aims to convert plastic waste into quality rosters to improve the economy of rusunawa residents. The implementation method includes socialization, technical training, development of appropriate technology, and ongoing mentoring for 8 months. Target outputs include production equipment with a capacity of 50 kg of plastic waste per day, a 30% reduction in waste volume, the establishment of a digital marketing system, and increased income for 45 community members. This program supports SDGs 1, 8, 11, and 12 through the concept of a digital green economy. The developed pyrolysis technology uses a reactor with a capacity of 5-10 kg per batch with an operational temperature of 300-500°C. This activity is expected to be a replication model for other rusunawa in Indonesia in addressing the problem of plastic waste sustainably. Keywords: empowerment; waste; rusunawa.

Abstract

Digestive disorders in children are a serios health issue globally, with diarrhea being a leading cause of mortality among toddlers. In Batam City, the hitgh incidence of acute diarrhea and other digestive disorders in children underscores the urgency for better management. Contributing factors include immature immune systems, unhealthy eating patterns, poor sanitation, low parental understanding of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior, and limited access to medical information and facilities. This problem is futher exacerbated by overlapping symptoms of digestive disorders, making early diagnosis difficult. To address these challenges, this research aims to design and build a web-based expert system application capable of detecting digestive disorders in children. The system implements a Rule-Based Reasing method with a Forward Chaining algorithm, which logically matches user-inputted symptoms against rules in tis knowledge base to generate a rapid initial diagnosis. This application focuses on three main indicators of degetive disorders : Diarrhea, Constipation, and GERD, for children aged 5 months to 12 years. Thus, this expert system is expected to be an interactive tool that enhances parental understanding, facititates early diagnosis of digestive disorders in children, and serves ad a reference for healthcare professionals and the development of health information systems.

Abstract

Serangan Malware merupakan serangan yang dilakukan oleh seorang attacker dengan cara mengirimkan kode-kode berbahaya ke berbagai file atau bahkan banyak paket dan server. Oleh karena itu, operasional jaringan yang handal menjadi faktor yang perlu diperhatikan untuk mencegah terjadinya serangan sedini mungkin agar tidak terjadi kerusakan sistem yang lebih parah. Jenis serangan dapat berupa Ping of Death, flooding, remote-controlled attack, UDP flooding, dan Smurf Attack. Data serangan diperoleh dari dataset ClaMP, selain itu dilakukan penangkapan paket data pada log jaringan dan optimasi ekstraksi fitur yang selanjutnya dianalisa secara statistik dengan algoritma machine learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeteksi, mengklasifikasi serangan Malware menggunakan berbagai model Algoritma ML seperti SVM, KNN dan Neural Network serta melakukan pengujian kinerja deteksi. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari proses Pre-Processing, ekstraksi, pemilihan fitur dan klasifikasi serta pengujian kinerja. Data training dan testing pada penelitian ini menggunakan mixed model yaitu data division, split model dan cross validation. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa algoritma terbaik untuk mendeteksi paket Malware adalah Neural Network untuk kategori Feature Combination dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 96,91%, Recall sebesar 97,35% dan Precision sebesar 96,78%. Sehingga penelitian tersebut dapat berimplikasi bagi para ahli siber untuk dapat mencegah serangan Malware sejak dini. Sedangkan penelitian selanjutnya diperlukan algoritma khusus untuk meningkatkan deteksi serangan Malware, selain KNN, SVM dan Neural Network. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi para peneliti yang sedang melakukan penelitian di bidang yang sama.
