Abstract

The counseling activity in Bendung Village aims to improve the community’s quality of life through the integration of public awareness on health, the importance of education within the family, and economic empowerment (SMEs). The program encourages families to adopt a healthy lifestyle, maintain cleanliness, utilize available health services, support their children’s education to foster a smart and independent generation, and strengthen family economic capacity through SMEs, skills development, and innovative marketing strategies. The activity followed four main stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The counseling was held on August 7, 2025, at the Bendung Village Office with 36 participants, consisting of 29 women and 7 men representing different neighborhood units (RT). The speakers were lecturers and practitioners in related fields, including Yania Febsi, S.Gz., M.K.M., Desma Yuliadi Saputra, M.Pd., and Ira Damayanti, S.T., M.T. The results showed active participation and enthusiasm from the participants during discussions, indicating the high interest of the community. This underscores the importance of an integrative strategy based on collaboration among the community, academics, and village government to achieve family resilience that is healthy, educated, and economically independent.

Abstract

Konsumsi buah dan sayur yang cukup sesuai anjuran (> 5 porsi sehari) pada masyarakat Indonesia masih tergolong sangat rendah yaitu 3,3%. Sehingga perlu adanya pemecahan masalah terkait konsumsi serat melalui inovasi produk berbahan dasar tinggi serat untuk meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam mengonsumsi sumber serat, seperti kebab sayur. Pendidikan terkait usaha di bidang pangan kreatif mendorong mahasiswa gizi dalam menciptakan usaha produk makanan yang bergizi dan inovatif dari bahan pangan lokal yang tersedia. Kebab sayur diharapkan menjadi produk yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mencukupi kebutuhan serat dengan konsumsi sayur yang menjadi bahan utama pada kebab sayur. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang berasal dari penjualan kebab sayur oleh mahasiswa S1 Gizi Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Bina Bangsa melalui kegiatan bazar kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat potensi pada usaha kebab sayur yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa S1 Gizi Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan sebagai bagian dari pendidikan kewirausahaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis kelayakan usaha dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha kebab sayur layak untuk dikembangkan dan strategi berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT dapat mendukung perkembangan usaha kebab sayur. Inovasi produk dibutuhkan untuk mempertahankan dan mengembangkan usaha kebab sayur ini.

Abstract

Nutritional problems in adolescents remain a serious public health issue in both developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. Nutritional problems in adolescents are not limited to malnutrition, but also include overnutrition and obesity. The purpose of this study was to identify several factors associated with the nutritional status of adolescents. A cross-sectional study design was used in this study. The research was conducted at a high school in Banjar Regency. The research was conducted in April 2024. The research population consisted of 10th and 11th grade students. The sample consisted of 53 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used was a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed a relationship between sleep duration (p value: 0.035) and physical activity (p value: 0.004) with nutritional status in adolescents. It is recommended that adolescents maintain a balanced diet, engage in physical activity, reduce sedentary behavior by limiting smartphone use, and ensure they get at least 8 hours of sleep per day. Keywords: Sleep Duration, Nutrition, Adolescents
