Abstract

Reading comprehension is very much a polemic in the world of education. The technique for carrying out the reading comprehension process at the elementary school level is still not by the rules; there are still many students in the process of reading comprehension in a text with sound and pointing. This has an impact on students' understanding of reading. This research aims to improve reading comprehension skills through the Scramble model in grade 4 students. The research was conducted at SDN 224/II Sijau, Bungo District, involving 20 students, 15 boys and 5 girls, registered in the 2023 school year/ 2024. This research uses the Kemmis and Mc research design. Taggart, which consists of two cycles. In each cycle, there are two meetings in class, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results showed that in the first cycle of action, individual absorption capacity was 58.70%, and classical learning completion was 24.56%. There was an increase in cycle II with a classical absorption capacity of 78.40%, while classical learning completeness was 88.27%. Thus, it can be concluded that learning can improve students' ability to read and understand the Scramble model in grade 4 elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang pada peningkatan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas kelas 3 SD Negeri 128/II Pasir Putih masih rendah, dengan hasil observasi kemampuan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 30,37%. Peserta didik merasa bosan saat pembelajaran berlangsung serta model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru kurang efektif berdampak pada materi yang dipelajari tidak tersampaikan dengan baik pada peserta didik. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada peserta didik kelas 3 SD Negeri 128/II Pasir Putih ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi Proses berbasis Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini PTK terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana data yang diambil yaitu berupa data hasil observasi melalui lembar observasi pengamatan kemampuan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik dan observasi guru dalam implementasi model pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi Proses berbasis Problem Based Learning, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik terlihat dari hasil observasi pada siklus I kemampuan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik 50,77%. Meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83,16%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan peningkatan kolaborasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas kelas 3 SD Negeri 128/II Pasir Putih dapat meningkat setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi Proses berbasis Problem Based Learning. Penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi proses berbasis Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan antusias peserta didik dalam belajar serta dapat memberikan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interatif dan inklusif.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research conducted in Grade VI of SDN 012/II Empelu was motivated by preliminary observations, which indicated the low quality of both the learning process and student outcomes. This could be seen from learning activities that were not yet aligned with the requirements of the Merdeka Curriculum and from the average scores of daily tests that were still below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP). To address this issue, the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model was implemented using “puzzle” media. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of the learning process and student outcomes through the application of the SAVI model on the topic How Our Body Moves.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 Grade VI students of SDN 012/II Empelu, while the object of the study was the implementation of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) model in IPAS learning. Data collection techniques included observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the SAVI model with puzzle media was categorized as very good. In terms of process, teacher and student engagement improved from the “good” category in Cycle I to “very good” in Cycle II. In terms of learning outcomes, the students’ average score increased from 70.4% in Cycle I to 86.3% in Cycle II, with the percentage of learning mastery rising from 28% to 80%. The application of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) model proved effective in enhancing student activeness and conceptual understanding of IPAS.

Abstract

This study is driven by the learning process that does not yet align with the requirements of the Independent Curriculum, along with students' low academic achievement. The study is centered around the following research concern "How to improve the process and results of learning mathematics through the application of the make a match model assisted by card installation media at stage B (Class IV) SDN 094 / VIII Giriwinangun?" This type of research is This investigation followed the principles of Classroom Action Research and was performed in March 2025 at SDN 094 / VIII Giriwinangun in semester II. Class IV consisted of 15 students, including 10 boys and 5 girls. Relevant data was obtained gathered With the application of observation and testing methods. The findings revealed that the teacher's learning process adopting the make a match technique assisted with card installation media during the first cycle, the percentage was reaching 80.46%. Furthermore, there was a growth in Cycle II, reflected by a percentage of 82.81%. Students during the learning process the application of the Make a Match strategy supported by card-matching media in Cycle I achieved 46.7%. Furthermore, by Cycle II, it had reached 93.3%. Assessment of student academic results achieved using the Make a Match strategy aided by card-matching media in cycle I reached 60%. While in cycle II student learning outcomes reached 80%. As indicated by the conclusions drawn from this investigation, It may be inferred that implementing the Make a Match model with the support of card pairing media enhances both the learning process and outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 094/VIII Giriwinangun.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara sangatlah menjadi polemik dalam dunia pendidikan. Teknik untuk melakukan proses berbicara di tingkat sekolah dasar masih belum sesuai dengan kaidahnya, masih banyak peserta  didik dalam  proses berbicara yang menyampaikan gagasan belum lancar dan jelas, serta sikap dan Fokus pada pembicaraan tidak terlihat dalam proses berbicara. Hal  ini  berdampak  kepada  teknik berbicara peserta didik terhadap  keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian  ini bertujuan  untuk  meningkatkan  keterampilan  berbicara dengan teknik yang benar melalui  Sistem Therapy Doll (SPIDOL) pada peserta  didik kelas V. Penelitian  dilaksanakan  di  SDN 81/II Cadika Kec.Bungo,  melibatkan 18 orang peserta didik terdiri atas 12 orang laki-laki dan 8 orang perempuan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Arikunto yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Di mana pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan di kelas dan setiap siklus terdiri empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tindakan siklus I diperoleh daya serap individual 40.80% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 24.01%. Dan  terjadi  peningkatan  pada  siklus  II  dengan  perolehan  daya  serap  klasikal  70.40% sedangkan   ketuntasan   belajar   klasikal   70.27%. Dengan   demikian   dapat   disimpulkan   bahwa pembelajaran  dengan  menggunakan  dapat  meningkatkan  kemampuan peserta  didik keterampilan berbicara melalui sistem therapy doll (SPIDOL) di kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa dampak besar terhadap pola asuh anak, khususnya pada usia sekolah dasar yang saat ini telah banyak menggunakan gadget. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Kepala Desa Karya Harapan Mukti, Kecamatan Bungo, diketahui bahwa hampir 70% anak usia sekolah dasar di desa tersebut aktif menggunakan gadget, terutama untuk bermain game dan menonton video. Kondisi ini menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti menurunnya motivasi belajar, berkurangnya interaksi sosial, serta munculnya kecanduan digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua mengenai digital parenting sebagai strategi pendampingan anak dalam penggunaan gadget. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi, dengan melibatkan orang tua, guru, dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman orang tua mengenai dampak gadget, pentingnya pengawasan, serta penerapan aturan penggunaan gadget yang sehat. Peserta juga menunjukkan respon positif terhadap kegiatan ini karena dianggap relevan dan memberikan solusi praktis bagi permasalahan pengasuhan anak di era digital. Dengan demikian, edukasi digital parenting dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk membantu orang tua mengarahkan penggunaan gadget secara bijak sehingga mendukung tumbuh kembang anak secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and frequency of language errors in sixth-grade elementary school students' compositions. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing 20 student-composed texts using a reading-note-taking technique. The data were then classified based on error categories including spelling, word formation, sentence structure, and meaning. The results showed that spelling errors were the most dominant type of error, followed by errors in word formation, sentence structure, and meaning. These findings indicate that students' mastery of Indonesian language rules is still suboptimal, especially in terms of writing accuracy and word choice. The discussion of the study emphasizes the need for more targeted writing learning strategies, intensive practice, and continuous feedback from teachers. In addition to providing a picture of students' language error patterns, this study also opens up opportunities for further development, such as implementing learning interventions or developing special training media that can improve students' language accuracy.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) was carried out at SDN 103/II Tanjung Agung, Muara Bungo Regency. Partner problems are (1) Lack of student activity in speaking, (2) Lack of self-confidence and courage in the learning process in class. (3) Teachers do not interact enough with students and do not use exciting and varied learning models. This PKM aims to provide solutions for partners, namely teachers at SDN 103/II Tanjung Agung, Muara Bungo Regency, to increase the effectiveness of speaking skills using the elementary school paired storytelling model. The method for implementing PKM is carried out by (1) Lecture Method, (2) Learning discussions, and (3) Simulation of the effectiveness of speaking skills using the elementary school paired storytelling model. The PKM results were a workshop on the effectiveness of speaking skills using the elementary school paired storytelling model. The results of the participant response sheet stated that the results were very good, especially for class teachers, so that learning has variations in utilizing learning models.

Abstract

The implementation of this community service is motivated by the role of teachers, which has not had an optimal impact in efforts to prevent sexual violence against elementary school students. Several things become obstacles in implementing sexual violence prevention, including teachers not being brave and taboo, teachers not understanding, and teachers not having educational and integrative strategies. One way to prevent violence against elementary school students is through media-based sexual psychoeducation that is integrated into learning. The Muara Bungo Muhammadiyah University service team conducted socialization on applying sexual psychoeducation to teachers at SD 196/II Taman Agung. Service activities use practical methods by means of simulations with direct assistance from the service team, which begins with material delivery. The series of activities were carried out in the meeting room and continued with the simulation in the classroom. The methods used during the service are lectures, discussions, simulations, and reflection. The result of implementing this service is that teachers gain a new understanding of the importance of sexual psychoeducation given from an early age; teachers can create and use media that contain elements of sexual psychoeducation according to the child's age and obtain strategies for applying appropriate language and tone according to the student's age so that learning with sexual psychoeducation content indeed leads to denotative.

Abstract

This study examines the low initial reading skills and abilities of students in second grade at SDN 108/II Perumnas Muara Bungo. This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of second grade students' beginning reading skills using the SAS (Structural Analysis and Synthesis) method.This research method is Classroom Action Research (CLRS). This study consists of two cycles, each consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were second graders, consisting of one teacher and 22 students at Public Elementary School 108/II Perumnas. The results of this study show that teacher participation in the learning process was 76% in cycle I, meeting I, and increased to 80% in cycle I, meeting II. Furthermore, in cycle II, meeting I and II, the teacher participation increased again to 100%.The results obtained by students during the learning process in Cycle I, meeting I, were 52%, but in Cycle I, meeting II, they increased to 64%, which was considered unachievable. Furthermore, in Cycle II, meeting I, they increased to 88%, and in Cycle II, meeting II, they increased again to 100%, which was considered achieved. Observations of the assessment of students' beginning reading tests in Cycle I showed that only 9 students, or 60%, achieved the target. In Cycle II, 11 students, or 82%, achieved the target and were declared successful.
