Abstract

The objectives of this study were (i) to analyze external and internal factors of bioethanol business unit in PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI and (ii) to evolve its development strategy. The study used AWOT analysis, a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SWOT analysis. The results of A’WOT analysis are internal factors of company: strength  is availability of raw materials (0.383) and weakness is high production costs (0.536). External factors of company: opportunity is market opportunity (0.340) and threat  is the low market index prices (0.305). Strategy prioritized in the development of bioethanol business unit is reducing the cost of production to cut costs that are not important and increasing the efficiency of production facilities in order to gain more profit (0.271).

Abstract

Abstract

Halal certification is a Recognition of the halal status of a product issued by the Halal Product Guarantee Organizing Agency (BPJPH) based on halal regulations (written halal fatwa) issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). Activities to socialize halal certification and increase consumer awareness of halal products were carried out at SMKN Ngambon, Bojonegoro. This activity was carried out based on the pie susu product developed by SMKN Ngambon and requiring halal certification. Apart from that, it is important to socialize halal products to the nation's young generation. The socialization method used is an lecture and interactive discussion method by displaying presentation slides containing material. Participants in the socialization activities were vocational school students aged 15-20 years. Halal certification outreach activities at SMKN Ngambon Bojonegoro provide insight into halal products in daily life. This activity also increases awareness of the importance of halal certification for food products circulating around. Participants' ignorance of halal products.

Abstract

Kegiatan penyuluhan itu termasuk program pengabdian masyarakat yang dimana programnya ditujukan pada KWT di Desa Tingkis Kecamatan Singgahan Kabupaten Tuban Provinsi Jawa Timur yang bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pemahaman tentang cara pemasaran yang efektif dan efisien pada produk yang dibuat oleh KWT desa tingkis tersebut sebagai salah strategi agar penjualan meningkat. dengan menggunakan bauran pemasaran 4P (Product, Price, Place & Promotion) dalam pemasarannya dan aplikasi Shoppe untuk platform e-commercenya. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini yaitu obersevasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penyuluan ini dilakukan dengan menggetahui dasar-dasar bauran pemasaran 4P dan pembuatan akun shoppe agar dapat meningkatkan penjualan produk masyarakat Kelompok Wanita Tani.

Abstract

Abstrak Faktor penting yang dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan produksi padi adalah penggunaan benih unggul dan bermutu, karena penggunaan benih unggul dan bermutu dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman padi. Namun sampai saat ini masih banyak petani yang menggunakan benih tidak bersertifikat. Kecamatan Bangilan merupakan salah satu Kecamatan yang menghasilkan padi cukup besar di Kabupaten Tuban. Besarnya produksi padi yang dihasilkan, petani di Kecamatan Bangilan masih menggunakan benih non sertifikat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan perbedaan pendapatan usahatani dengan menggunakan benih sertifikat dan non sertifikat dan perbedaan produktivitas padi dengan menggunakan benih padi bersertifikat dan non sertifikat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive random sampling Penentuan sampel responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden petani menggunakan benih bersertifikat dan 100 responden petani non sertifikat. Metode menggunakan analisis disktriptif dan analisis usahatani dengan menghitung pendapatan usahatani dan produktivitas padi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pendapatan usahatani padi di Kecamatan Bangilan dengan menggunakan benih bersertifikat lebih besar (Rp. 85.512.739/Ha sedangkan petani yang menggunakan benih non sertifikat sebesar Rp. 84.111.963/Ha. Produktivitas padi di Kecamatan Bangilan untuk petani yang menggunakan benih bersertifikat lebih tinggi sebesar 8,2 /ha dibandingkan petani yang menggunakan benih non sertifikat yang hanya menghasilkan 7.9 ton /ha. Abstract

Jawa Timur adalah provinsi dengan jumlah produksi semangka terbesar di Indonesia. Total produksi pada tahun 2023 mencapai 107.902 ton semangka setara dengan 26% dari total produksi semangka nasional. Budidaya semangka di Kecamatan Bangilan Kabupaten Tuban dominan terjadi pada bulan Agustus hingga September pada saat musim kemarau. Sulitnya air pada saat musim kemarau akan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan semangka. Hal ini menyebabkan pertumbuhan yang tidak optimal sehingga hasil panen petani tidak optimal. Petani semangka di Kecamatan Bangilan Kabupaten Tuban hampir setiap musim kemarau membudidayakan semangka, namun dalam usahataninya petani belum memperhitungkan kelayakan usahatani semangka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis usahatani petani semangka kuning di Kecamatan Bangilan Kabupaten Tuban dengan menghitung pendapatan usahataninya dan kelayakan usahatani semangka kuning. Sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Penentuan sampel responden pada penelitian ini menggunakan snowball sampling. Analisis data dengan menganalisis usahatani berkaitan dengan, biaya yang dikeluarkan, penerimaan, pendapatan yang diterima dan menganalisis kelayakan usahatani dengan menggunakan analisis B/C rasio. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dimana usahatani semangka kuning mengeluarkan biaya total usahatani per hektar sebesar Rp. 19.776.300,- dengan penerimaan usahatani sebesar Rp 40.950.000,- per hektar sehingga pendapatan usahatani per hektas sebesar Rp. 21.183.700,- per hektar. Analisis kelayakan usahatani semangka kuning di Kecamatan Bangilan Kabupaten Tuban menunjukkan B/C rasio 1,071 dan R/C rasio 2,07 artinya menguntungkan dan layak dijalankan.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the competitiveness of Indonesian textile products in the United States market, one of the main export destinations for Indonesian textiles. The purpose of this study is to assess the comparative advantage of Indonesian textile products using the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) method. The research employs secondary data obtained from sources such as the International Trade Centre’s Trade Map (2023), Ministry of Trade (2022), and Ministry of Industry (2023). The results of the RCA analysis reveal that several textile products, such as women’s knitted blouses and men’s suits, show high RCA values, indicating strong competitive advantages. However, challenges such as dependency on imported raw materials, inconsistent product quality, and limited innovation and research and development (R&D) hinder Indonesia's competitiveness in global markets. Furthermore, more than 70% of Indonesia's textile exports to the United States are channeled through intermediaries, reducing control over pricing and marketing strategies. This study recommends strategies to enhance Indonesia's textile competitiveness, such as reducing dependence on imported raw materials, improving product quality control, and increasing investment in innovation and R&D. Strengthening direct distribution networks to major markets like the United States and Europe is also essential for improving competitiveness.

Abstract

Purpose: The primary aim of this community service program is to educate residents of Sidokumpul Village, Bangilan District, Tuban Regency, about the benefits of biofarmaka plants. The initiative addresses the underutilization of household yard space by encouraging the cultivation of biofarmaka, significantly enhancing community welfare through sustainable agricultural practices.Method: The study employs community education methods, including counseling, socialization, lectures, and discussions on biofarmaka utilization. Training sessions further facilitate technology diffusion, ensuring residents are well-informed about cultivation and processing techniques.Practical Applications: The research findings enable community members to effectively utilize their yard space, increasing household productivity and fostering self-reliance. This leads to improved economic conditions, as residents can produce processed products with higher added value, enhancing their household economy.Conclusion: The study concludes that the community understands the benefits of biofarmaka and has started cultivating them in their yards. Residents are also capable of creating higher-value processed products, contributing to a broader understanding of sustainable agriculture and improving household economies.

Abstract

Papie-Sue is a diversification of agricultural and livestock products. Papie-Sue means banana pie with etawa milk. The main raw material for pie crust comes from banana flour, and the raw material for vla comes from etawa goat's milk. In addition, there are variations in flavors from local fruits, namely starfruit and durian. All raw materials and variations in flavors are local products of Bojonegoro. Because this product is processed from fresh ingredients without preservatives, a method is needed to maintain product quality until it reaches consumers. To improve the quality of Papie-Sue, GMP, SSOP, and HACCP are implemented through training and mentoring for the production team. The implementation of a food safety system based on GMP, SSOP, and HACCP can improve product quality by avoiding food contamination both biologically, chemically, and physically. Potential contamination will be identified to carry out prevention processes during the production process. Training participants consist of a production team of 15 people. The implementation of this food safety system is expected to be one way in the process of increasing the scale of the Papie-Sue business at SMKN Ngambon.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an economic sector that has a significant impact on product sales. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Jatirogo subdistrict, Tuban district, are one of the locations where MSMEs have been established which empower them through innovation and the use of local products for consumption. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the halal label, P-IRT label and price on purchase intention and its impact on consumer decisions. This research uses the lameshow formula. The sample in this study consisted of 100 respondents. Purchase interest has an impact on purchasing decisions which influence the development of MSMEs in the future, as well as MSMEs currently having to be able to survive in this onslaught with the abundance of modern and unique processed foods. Thus, it is necessary to follow the rules provided by the government, namely halal certification and P-IRT permits. This research analyzed using SEM-PLS method by analyzing the tools used in SMARTPLS. The research results found that price has a positive and significant influence on buying interest; Purchase interest has a positive and significant influence on consumer decisions. The price of MSME products is influenced by purchasing interest on consumer decisions, while the halal label and P-IRT label do not have a significant effect on purchasing interest and purchasing decisions. So that, product prices influence purchasing interest in consumer decisions and purchasing interest has an impact on consumers in making purchasing decisions for MSME products.
