Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the decision-making methods of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and build a decision support system that can be used to determine the linearity of lecturers’ research in their scientific fields. The analysis aims to assist relevant institutions in determining research linearity and guiding lecturers in their research policies and directions. Methods: This study compares the performance of the SAW and TOPSIS methods, against the alternative ranking of lecturers’ research linearity. The performance of both methods was measured using accuracy and MSE, where a high accuracy value indicates that the method performs better and the value of MSE is small or close to zero indicating a better relevance. Result: The results showed that the SAW method has a better accuracy value of 100% and an average MSE value of 0.13. At the same time, the TOPSIS method has an accuracy value of 33% and an average MSE value of 0.58. Novelty: This study provides knowledge about the effectiveness and efficiency of decision-making methods to determine the lecturers’ research linearity, as a guideline for related institutions regarding research policy making. In addition, the results of this study also provide a framework for evaluating the recent decision-supporting method and improving the understanding of the implementation and performance of the methods.

Abstract

Maraknya kasus kecurangan atau manipulasi dokumen sertifikat atau piagam penghargaan pada proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, menjadi permasalahan yang serius untuk diselesaikan. Tindakan ini dapat merugikan para siswa yang telah berprestasi secara jujur, merusak kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap integritas pendidikan dan kredibilitas sistem PPDB itu sendiri, sehingga berdampak pada kepercayaan masyarakat kepada institusi atau lembaga pendidikan dan pemerintah. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah case studies research. Peneliti menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) untuk pengembangan sistem dan blackbox testing berbasis equivalent partition untuk metode pengujian sistem. Berdasarkan hasil blackbox testing berbasis equivalent partition, bahwa sistem informasi verifikasi online yang dibangun, secara keseluruhan fungsionalitasnya sudah berjalan dengan baik. Sistem yang dibangun juga sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dalam mengakomodir permasalahan terkait dengan verifikasi sertifikat secara online, sehingga dapat meminimalisir praktik kecurangan atau manipulasi dokumen sertifikat atau piagam penghargaan.

Abstract

Kartu Donor darah adalah buku saku untuk pendonor darah yang dikeluarkan oleh Palang merah Indonesia (PMI) yang berfungsi sebagai buku catatan data pendonor darah lembar manual jadwal donor yang biasa dibawa setiap kali hendak mendonorkan darah.kartu tersebut berisi data telah berapa kali melakukan donor darah. Namun kartu donor darah ini sering kali lupa dibawa oleh pendonor darah pada saat melakukan donor darah. Hal ini berdampak pada tidak tercatatnya proses donor darah pada periode tersebut. Padahal catatan pada kartu tersebut dapat menjadi patokan oleh PMI sebagai rekap data berapa kali donor darah dan untuk data kapan donor darah terakhir pendonor tersebut melakukan donor darah pada periode berikutnya. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah aplikasi mobile untuk menggantikan kartu donor darah. Hal ini dapat meminimalisir tidak tercatatnya data donor darah karena bisa langsung dicatat pada aplikasi mobile yang terinstal pada gawai pendonor darah.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to develop a prototype UI/UX Decision Support System for Determining Lecturer Research Linearity based on user needs, in which users can manage research data, determine the suitability of research conducted by lecturers with their scientific fields, provide a basis for decision-making in determining whether lecturer research should be continued, and provide an overview to decision-makers regarding lecturer performance. This study used the design thinking technique, which is divided into five stages: obtaining information from users, analyzing user needs, generating ideas for solutions to user problems, creating prototypes to solve user problems, and testing and improving prototypes. This study successfully created a decision support system design and prototype that is centered on user demands and comfort. Prototype testing was carried out by UI/UX design experts. The test findings demonstrate that users respond positively to the decision support system interface and that most functionalities work properly. This demonstrates that the decision support system prototype was created with user demands, functional suitability, and convenience of use in mind. The findings of this study are expected to be used in associated institutions or agencies to collect feedback for future system improvement.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat dibutuhkan dalam berbagai bidang seperti industri, kesehatan, pariwisata maupun pendidikan. Salah satu implementasi teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan yaitu untuk mendukung sistem penjadwalan kegiatan pada pondok pesatren. Pondok pesantren PDF Walindo termasuk salah satu pondok pesantren dengan jumlah santri yang banyak. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan di pondok meliputi kegiatan akademik maupun non akademik yang memungkinkan diikuti oleh masyarakat umum. Hal ini dibutuhkan pengelolaan dalam menyusun jadwal kegiatan pondok agar tidak terjadi redudansi data jadwal. Sehingga dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi mobile berbasis Android untuk mengelola jadwal kegiatan pondok pesantren PDF Walindo. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalisasi dalam pengelolaan jadwal kegiatan pondok pesantren. Upaya untuk optimalisasi penggunaan aplikasi maka dilakukan pelatihan kepada pengurus pondok pesantren dan santri yang meliputi penggunaan aplikasi, instalasi aplikasi serta pemeliharaan aplikasi. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu telah dilakukan implementasi dan pelatihan aplikasi mobile berbasis Android untuk penjadwalan kegiatan pondok pesantren PDF Walindo.

Abstract

Sumber Prima Mitra currently relies on Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word and Excel for administration and data storage purposes, as well as using Instagram and WhatsApp as communication and information media. This approach raises concerns regarding data security and the effectiveness of disseminating information about a company's products and services. This research aims to overcome this problem by designing a web-based sales information system that can increase the effectiveness of management and dissemination of information at Sumber Prima Mitra. The method applied in developing this information system is Personal Extreme Programming (PXP). PXP was chosen for its flexible and iterative approach, allowing for continuous customization according to the company's specific needs. This web-based sales information system is expected to provide an efficient platform for managing sales, marketing and promotional data. This sales information system was created using UI/UX as the basis for implementing the system. The UI/UX creation has been adjusted to the needs of Sumber Prima Mitra, so that the implementation of the system is faster and more targeted. With this system, Sumber Prima Mitra is expected to increase productivity, reduce the risk of data loss, and attract more customers through more effective and organized information dissemination.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan global yang saling berkaitan dengan permasalahan sosial lainnya. Sebagian besar negara berkembang di dunia pasti mengalami hal tersebut dan berusaha mencari solusi untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan, seperti yang terjadi di provinsi Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Kemiskinan di Jawa Tengah mengalami fluktuasi selama lima tahun terakhir. Secara spesifik, menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik, jumlah penduduk miskin pada tahun 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, dan 2022 sebanyak 3.897,20 ribu, 3.743,23 ribu, 3.980,90 ribu, 4.109,75 ribu, dan 3.831,44 ribu jiwa. Tinjauan terhadap naik turunnya kemiskinan pada tahun-tahun mendatang sangatlah penting. Untuk memerangi kemiskinan secara efektif, tidak hanya memahami penyebab kemiskinan tetapi memprediksi kemiskinan juga sangatlah penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi garis kemiskinan, jumlah penduduk miskin, dan persentase penduduk miskin di Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini mengusulkan model peramalan hybrid untuk memperkirakan perubahan kemiskinan di Jawa Tengah. Di sini kami mengintegrasikan teknik statistik Holt-Winter triple exponential smoothing ke dalam fuzzy time series dengan pendekatan algoritma rate of change. Hasil uji kesalahan prediksi dengan metode Mean Absolute Percentage Error sangat kecil yaitu: garis kemiskinan sebesar 0,003%, jumlah penduduk miskin sebesar 0,005%, dan persentase penduduk miskin sebesar 0,004%. Temuan penelitian ini diyakini akan membantu pembuat kebijakan dalam mengembangkan strategi efektif untuk memerangi kemiskinan. Pengetahuan ini dapat menjadi dasar pengambilan keputusan alokasi sumber daya bagi pemerintah daerah dan pusat serta pembuat kebijakan.   Abstract Poverty is a global problem that is interconnected with other social problems. Most developing countries in the world certainly experience this and are trying to find solutions to alleviate poverty, as is the case in the province of Central Java, Indonesia. Poverty in Central Java has fluctuated over the last five years. Specifically, according to data from the Central Statistics Agency, the number of poor people in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 is 3,897.20 thousand, 3,743.23 thousand, 3,980.90 thousand, 4,109.75 thousand, and 3,831.44 thousand people. A review of the rise and fall of poverty in the coming years is very important. To fight poverty effectively, not only understanding the causes of poverty but also predicting poverty is essential. The aim of this research is to predict the poverty line, number of poor people, and percentage of poor people in Central Java. This research proposes a hybrid forecasting model to estimate changes in poverty in Central Java. Here we integrate Holt-Winter's triple exponential smoothing statistical technique into fuzzy time series with a rate of change algorithm approach. The prediction error test results using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error method are very small, namely: the poverty line is 0.003%, the number of poor people is 0.005%, and the percentage of poor people is 0.004%. It is believed that the findings of this research will assist policymakers in developing effective strategies to combat poverty. This knowledge can be the basis for resource allocation decisions for local and central governments and policymakers.

Abstract

The UKM (Student Activity Unit) information system is one of the supporting factors for the progress of a university, especially for Unkartur (Karangturi National University) which currently requires online UKM data management. This research aims to analyze and design a web-based UKM information system for Unkartur. The author hopes that the interface design resulting from this research will help Unkartur in solving problems regarding the need for online SME data management. The methods used in this research are UML (Unified Modeling Language) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram).

Abstract

With the increasing complexity of projects and the volume of data in Software Engineering (SE), the need for efficient and accurate data analysis techniques has become crucial. Classification algorithms play a vital role in various SE tasks, such as bug detection, software quality prediction, and requirements classification. Quantum computing offers a new paradigm with the potential to overcome classical computational limitations for certain types of problems. This research proposes the design and implementation of a kernel-based quantum classification algorithm (also known as Quantum Support Vector Machine - QSVM) tailored for data analysis in the SE domain. We will discuss the fundamental principles behind quantum feature mapping and quantum kernel matrices, and demonstrate its implementation using quantum computing libraries. As a case study, the designed algorithm will be tested on a software bug detection dataset, comparing its performance with classical kernel-based classification algorithms like Support Vector Machine (SVM). The result of the comparison show that QSVM is superior in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score compared to SVM.

Abstract

The management of data collection of research activities, community service, and publications that occur at the National University of Karangturi Semarang is still done manually using Microsoft Excel, which still has various problems related to collecting, storing, searching, processing, and presenting data when needed for the accreditation process. Based on these problems, an information system is needed that can accommodate all the problems experienced by users. Therefore, an information system will be developed to manage all data related to research activities, community service, and publications carried out by lecturers and improve the efficiency of data management. System design is one of the stages of developing an information system. Simlitabmas design has two main objectives, namely to fulfill the needs of users and to provide a clear picture to all personnel involved in system development. System design is one of the important steps in a system development in which a visual representation of a series of processes or activities in an institution or organization is made. One of the modeling or design tools that can be used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). UML helps describe and design systems, especially in object-oriented programming. In this research, UML diagrams made consist of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
