Abstract

Model pembelajaran problem based learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari kesiapan guru dan peserta didik. Kesiapan peserta didik dapat dilihat dari persepsinya terhadap model pembelajaran tersebut. Artikel ini mengkaji tentang persepsi mahasiswa terhadap skenario pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Persepsi mahasiswa dilihat dari tiga aspek yaitu kesiapan, minat, dan profil pembelajaran. Persepsi mahasiswa tentang kepercayaan diri dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa bukan dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang digunakan tetapi lebih dipengaruhi oleh materi yang dipelajari. Persepsi minat mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan PBL cukup baik dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap profil pembelajaran PBL sangat baik. Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap profil pembelajaran sudah sangat baik, hanya saja pada tahapan orientasi masalah dan evaluasi terhadap proses penyelesaian masalah perlu ditingkatkan karena tahapan ini merupakan salah satu tahapan yang penting dalam model pembelajaran problem based learning. Problem-based learning model is one of the learning models used in the 21st-century learning process. The implementation of the learning process can be seen from the readiness of the teacher and students. Readiness can be seen from their perceptions of the learning model. This article examines the students perception of learning scenarios using problem-based learning. This research uses the quantitative descriptive method. Student perceptions showed three aspects: readiness, interest, and learning profile. Student perceptions about self-confidence and participation not only influenced by using the model but also influenced by the content of the material. The perception of student interest in PBL implementation is good and students perception of the PBL learning profile is very good. Student perceptions of the learning profile have been very good, only at the stage of problem orientation and evaluation of the problem-solving process needs to be improved.

Abstract

 Local wisdom has a role in reducing the impact of disasters. However, so far, local wisdom has not been a subject of study in disaster education. Kedu's residence in a disaster-prone area has a wealth of local wisdom that can be used as study material in disaster education. The phenomenon of disaster is related to the phenomena of earth and space so that the local wisdom of the community that can be used as material for study in disaster education is contained in the local wisdom of the community about earth and space phenomena. Therefore, to obtain data on local community wisdom about the disaster, a study of earth and space phenomena is needed. Study material in a scientific discipline must be scientific knowledge. The local wisdom of the community is not a scientific product. For this reason, scientific testing of the local community's livelihoods can be used as material for studies in disaster education. One way to test the knowledge of a knowledge product is to analyze the reasoning pattern of the knowledge product. For this reason, this study aims to analyze the pattern of reasoning to be used as a study material in disaster education and to categorize knowledge in the local wisdom of the ex-Karisidenan Kedu people on Earth and Space as misconceptions or P-Prims. This study uses qualitative research methods with the type of The Investigation of Lived Experience with the type of Cognitive Psychology. The stages of this research are literature study, data collection, and data analysis. Data analysis using the method of fixed comparison with a sequence of work steps as follows: Organizing Data, Data Reduction, Categorization, Synthesis, Compiling "Work Hypothesis". This study produced 31 research data on the local wisdom of the community about earth and space phenomena in the ex-residency of Kedu and surrounding areas in Central Java. Analysis of the data shows that most local people's wisdom about earth and space phenomena in the ex-residency of Kedu and surrounding areas in Central Java is a myth that has developed in the community and is believed to last for years, and some are in the form of Indigenous Knowledge. Local wisdom in the form of myth forms misconceptions, while local wisdom in the form of Indigenous Knowledge forms P-Prims. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the myths that are built upon natural phenomena in society occur because people try to explain these phenomena with acceptable explanations based on limited facts that are known to be related to these phenomena that are linked to their limited knowledge. Society tries to explain natural phenomena with limited knowledge to form conclusions in the form of non-science and approach science. Non-scientific conclusions form myths, while conclusions that approach science form Indigenous Knowledge.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) has provided a new means for online learning outside conventional classrooms. By using IT, blended learning is an approach that gives the best advantage from class and online learning. It is also help the higher education to improve their understanding of how students see blended learning and formulate strategies to successfully implement blended learning. The aim of this research is to examine how students' attitudes towards various aspects of learning which can influence their readiness to participate in blended learning. We provide six aspects of learning and then collect 85 students as respondent. The analysis revealed three main findings. First, the use of technology in education is not an obstacle for students. Second, the ability to follow blended learning are influenced by four things namely attitudes toward online learning, study management, online interaction, and learning flexibility. Third, attitudes toward learning in class have a negative relationship with students' readiness to participate in blended learning. The last, student attitudes towards various aspects of learning can be important in assessing students' readiness for blended learning, which is a prerequisite for the successful application of blended learning. Keywords: Blended learning, industry 4.0, student attitudes

Abstract

Bunyi yang dihasilkan oleh alat musik pada umumnya ditampilkan dalam bentuk gelombang (waveform) sebagai fungsi waktu. Tampilan ini menggambarkan perambatan intensitas bunyi terhadap waktu. Dari bentuk gelombang ini dapat diperoleh informasi tentang frekuensi. Bentuk gelombang dalam fungsi waktu ini ditransformasi ke dalam fungsi frekuensi melalui FFT, hasilnya berupa spektrum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui frekuensi pada berbagai instrumen gong yang peletakannya dengan cara digantung. Perekaman bunyi gong dilakukan dengan menggunakan handphone dan hasilnya disimpan dalam file berekstensi .wav. Bunyi hasil rekaman disimpan dalam komputer, dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan program pengolah audio. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar diameter gong maka frekuensi fundamental yang dihasilkan semakin kecil. Nada harmonis yang dihasilkan berturut-turut dari kempul 2, kempul 1, kempul 6, kempul 5, kempul 3, gong suwukan, dan gong ageng adalah 12, 12, 11, 12, 5, 5, 5. Kata Kunci: frekuensi, gamelan, gong

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of improving students' critical thinking skills and communication skills whose learning activities use integrated blended learning of local wisdom. Learning activities are carried out by modifying blended learning stages, namely at the seeking information stage. The research subjects were 109 students of the 2nd semester of science education study program. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test using an assessment rubric and an observation sheet. The research data were analyzed using multivariate analysis. The results showed that the improvement of students' critical thinking and communication skills with blended learning (treatment class) was more significant than students whose blended learning was not integrated with local wisdom. Keywords: blended learning, local wisdom, critical thinking skills, communication skills

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the description of the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills and the concept understanding by implementing the problem-solving approach. This study was in laboratory activities. This study was done in four times meeting. The try out subjects was 31 students of grades X of MAN Yogyakarta III. This research is using the quasi experimental method with the pretest-posttest design. The data were collected by using multiple choices tests with assessment rubric and observation sheets. The data are analyzed by using multivariate analysis. Based on the result, the gain standard value of students’ conceptual understanding and students’ critical thinking skills for grade X who learned through student’s worksheet with a problem-solving approach, called treatment class, are higher than students who learned without student’s worksheet with a problem-solving approach, called control class.  Keywords: concept understanding, critical thinking skills, laboratory activities, problem-solving approach. Kata Kunci: kegiatan laboratorium, keterampilan berpikir kritis, pemahaman konsep, pendekatan problem solving.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara data ? dan ? hasil penelitian dengan teori.Mekanika klasik atau mekanika Newton adalah teori tentang gerak yang didasarkan pada konsep massa dan gaya dan hukum-hukum yang menghubungkan konsep-konsep fisis ini dengan besaran kinematika. Semua gejala dalam mekanika dapat digambarkan dengan menggunakan hanya dengan tiga hukum sederhana yang dinamakan hukum Newton tentang gerak. Hukum Newton menghubungkan percepatan sebuah benda dengan massanya dan gaya-gaya yang bekerja padanya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan aplikasi Hukum I Newton. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat yang berupa katrol. Pada percobaan pertama dengan mengubah massa dan mengamati berapa sudut ?. Kemudian massa di tambah beban lagi. Pada percobaan yang kedua dengan sama saja dengan mengubah massa tapi dengan mengamati berapa sudut ? yang diperoleh setiap penambahan massa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) ada pengaruh setiap penambahan beban pada sudut ?, 2) ada pengaruh terhadap sudut ? bila massanya ditambah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, dimana alat yang digunakan berupa katrol, pada katrol tersebut digantungkan sebuah beban, penambahan beban pada salah satu ujung tali akan menunjukkan perubahan posisi sudut. Dari hasil percobaaan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapatperbandingan antara sudut ? dan sudut ? dengan menggunakan alat katrol.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi peserta didik terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan layanan Google Suite for Education untuk mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 264 Jakarta pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang digolongkan dalam metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian ini adalah persepsi peserta didik terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan layanan Google Suite for Education di SMP Negeri 264 Jakarta. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMP Negeri 264 Jakarta. Jumlah populasi dari semua jenjang sebanyak 838 peserta didik dengan jumlah sampel 335 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik di SMP Negeri 264 Jakarta terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan layanan Google Suite for Education didapatkan bahwa terdapat 206 orang dari total 335 peserta didik yang memilih kategori baik dengan persentase mencapai 61,5%.

Abstract

This study aims to produce e-modules for learning natural sciences for junior high schools to improve basic science process skills, determine the feasibility of e-modules, student responses to e-modules, and the effectiveness of the developed e-modules. This type of research is research and development that uses ADDIE development procedures (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluations). The number of research subjects was 22 students in class IX B, 20 students in class VIII B and 19 students in class VIII A. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The types of instruments used are e-module validation sheets, question validation sheets, student questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions. The results of the e-module development are based on the evaluation of the quality of the e-module by media & material experts, which is 0.89 with a valid category. Student responses to e-modules are categorized as very positive with a percentage of 92.71%. The effectiveness of the e-module is categorized as moderate with an N-gain value of 0.49. The conclusion of this study is that the e-module of natural science learning in junior high school to improve basic science process skills is effectively used in learning.
