Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of promotion through influencers in increasing Generation Z's interest in Islamic banking products. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with an in-depth interview method with 51 respondents consisting of Generation Z, influencers, and Islamic banking practitioners. The results of the study indicate that promotion through influencers can increase knowledge and appeal of Islamic banking products, with an average respondent interest score of 4.16. The main factors that influence the effectiveness of promotion are the credibility of influencers, the quality of promotional messages, and the relevance of products to consumer needs. However, the effectiveness of this promotion is still limited in changing consumer preferences from conventional to Islamic banking. Recommendations provided include selecting credible influencers, improving the quality of promotional messages, and integrating educational campaigns to strengthen understanding of the advantages of Islamic banking. This study provides strategic insights for Islamic banks in utilizing digital marketing to increase Generation Z participation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the marketing strategy for Planned Safe Savings (SIMANTRA) products at KSPPS BMT Aman Utama Pengkol Branch. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through direct observation in the field and an interview process with the head of the KSPPS BMT Aman Utama Pengkol Branch. The research results show that KSPPS BMT Aman Utama Pengkol Branch in implementing the marketing strategy for planned safe savings products (SIMANTRA) consists of five steps, namely: Prospecting, Approaching, Presentation, Handling Objection, and Ideal Closing. Apart from these five steps, KSPPS BMT Aman Utama also uses the "word of mouth" method which can be carried out by members who use the Planned Safe Savings (SIMANTRA) product by providing information and inviting friends, family and neighbors to use the product.

Abstract

Sharia Pawnshop is a financial institution that provides pawn services based on sharia principles, including gold pawning products that carry specific risks. This study aims to analyze the risk management applied to gold pawning products at the Sharia Pawnshop in Ngabul Jepara. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Sharia Pawnshop officials, direct observations, and literature studies from various relevant sources. The study results indicate three main types of risks in gold pawning products: market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. Market risk is related to gold price fluctuations that may affect the collateral value. Credit risk arises from potential customer defaults, while operational risk stems from errors in transaction processes and gold appraisal. The Ngabul Jepara Sharia Pawnshop has implemented risk mitigation strategies, such as strict customer evaluations, adjusting collateral value based on current gold prices, and strengthening internal supervision. The study concludes that effective risk management is essential to maintaining the stability and sustainability of Sharia Pawnshop operations. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for developing more optimal risk mitigation strategies in Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of KSPPS Guna Lestari Jaya members regarding the qordh contract in multipurpose loans and the efforts made by the cooperative to improve this understanding. The qordh contract is an interest-free loan contract which is one of the superior products of sharia cooperatives, but members' understanding of this concept is still limited. Based on the results of the study, it was found that although most members understand that the qordh contract is an interest-free loan, they still do not understand the provisions and mechanisms for its repayment. KSPPS Guna Lestari Jaya has made various educational efforts and utilized social media as information material to improve members' understanding. Although this program is less effective, there are still obstacles related to time and lack of interest from members to understand. This study suggests that cooperatives continue to develop flexible technology-based education methods so that they are more easily accessible to members. Thus, it is hoped that members' understanding of the qordh contract will increase and more transparent and fair transactions will be created.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of working capital financing provided by BMT Artha Yappi in improving the performance of Putra Tambak Rejo Furniture as a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in the furniture sector. The method used a descriptive qualitative approach and case study design, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that working capital financing of IDR 40 million with a Murabahah contract was effectively allocated for the purchase of modern sanding machines and additional raw materials. The implementation of this financing had a significant impact on improving business performance, as evidenced by a 50% increase in production capacity (from 10 to 15 sets/month) and a 40% increase in monthly turnover (from IDR 50 million to IDR 70 million). This success was not only driven by capital factors, but also reinforced by the role of BMT Artha Yappi in providing intensive technical and managerial assistance.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the murabahah bil wakalah contract in multi- benefit financing at BTN Syariah KCPS Kudus and assesses its compliance with the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 04/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Murabahah and No. 10/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Wakalah. The method used in this study is qualitative with data collection techniques being interviews with related parties, namely Financing Service, Operation Staff, and Sub Branch Head, as well as direct observation of the contract process and supervision of implementation in the field. The results of the study indicate that the murabahah bil wakalah contract has been implemented in accordance with the sharia principles stipulated in the DSN-MUI fatwa, especially in terms of clarity of the contract, determination of selling price, and financing mechanism. However, there are several challenges faced, especially in terms of ownership of goods before selling to customers and monitoring the use of funds to ensure that they are in accordance with the objectives of the contract. As an implication, this study recommends strengthening transaction verification mechanisms, increasing transparency in ownership of goods before being sold to customers, and more effective education strategies for customers to ensure compliance with sharia principles.
