Abstract

The electricity sector played an important role in the fulfillment of daily consumption and economic growth, a growing economy was characterized by an increase in gross regional domestic products. Economic growth became the basis of development equity, if the value of regional economic growth was unbalanced it would lead to regional disparity.  The aims of this case study were to analyzed Indonesia's regional disparity in 2019-2021, and to analyze the effect of the electricity sector on Indonesia's regional disparity in 2019-2021. The data used was derived from the Central Bureau of Statistics including data on the number of household electricity consumers, the number of industrial electricity consumers, total population, and per capita income. The methodology of this research was Williamson Index to determine regional disparity. Statistic regression test to analyze the influential factors. The methodology of this research was Williamson Index to determine regional disparity and statistic regression test to analyze the influential factors. The results of this case study were as follows. The value of Williamson index results of provinces in Indonesia is below 0.5, the average inequality trend in Indonesia is relatively stable, at 0.103088 (2019), 0.104359 (2020), and 0.103324 (2021). The electricity sector factor has a significant effect on regional inequality, both household and industrial electricity customer variables.

Abstract

Traditional casting in multi-storey buildings necessitates specialized equipment such as concrete buckets and concrete pumps for the application of ready mix concrete. Various types of equipment have an impact on both productivity and the duration of casting. This study collected primary data by conducting field observations at the B Residence Apartment Project, with a specific focus on worker and equipment needs, tool effectiveness, and labor force. The secondary data comprised of structural photos and cost information pertaining to manpower and equipment. The study revealed that the utilization of a concrete pump incurs a cost of IDR 1,231,543 m³, but employing a concrete bucket results in a cost of IDR 1,719,141 m³. The concrete pump achieved a volume of 281.02 m³ in a duration of 1101 minutes, while the bucket achieved a volume of 47.98 m³ in a duration of 538.77 minutes. The productivity of the concrete pump was 0.255 m³/minute, whereas the productivity of the concrete bucket was 0.089 m³/minute. According to these findings, utilizing the concrete pump will greatly enhance time efficiency and decrease the incurred expenses.

Abstract

Abstract

The problem of land conversion for industrial areas is a phenomenon that occurs in many cities, including East Serang. This phenomenon is a reference in the importance of calculating carrying capacity, settlement capacity and projecting settlement land needs until 2045. The research is located in part of the East Serang area in the settlement spatial pattern, with the research objective: a) analyzing land capacity, b) analyzing the carrying capacity and settlement capacity, and c) determining the distribution of locations that have high carrying capacity and settlement capacity. The approach of this research is quantitative with technical analysis: a) processing through mapping software, b) determination of land capability scale, and c) calculation of carrying capacity and settlement capacity. The results of the research show that: a) the ability class of the East Serang area in the settlement spatial pattern is divided into two, namely medium and high development ability, b) carrying capacity and settlement capacity in the research areas can still be developed into research locations, and c) areas that have high carrying capacity and settlement capacity, namely Kopo and Pamarayan sub district.

Abstract

The Indonesian Coastal Conservation Foundation (Yakopi) has successfully planted 82.24 hectares of mangroves in Tinjul Village, Lingga Regency. However, mangrove planting efforts need to be complemented with mangrove zoning mapping and the establishment of village regulations for mangrove protection. This research employs a qualitative approach using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, with data collection through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participatory mapping, and documentation. The analysis method used is descriptive. The results indicate that (1) the first FGD led to an agreement on conducting mangrove zoning mapping and formulating village regulations, (2) a field survey via participatory mapping produced a mangrove zoning map, (3) the second FGD resulted in consensus on the mangrove zoning maps and village regulations regarding mangrove protection, and (4) the third FGD led to the ratification and handover of the mangrove zoning maps and Tinjul Village Regulation No. 002 of 2024 on mangrove protection to village government officials. The study concludes that community-based mangrove management can be sustainable, contributing to the balance of the existing ecosystem. Keywords: mangrove conservation; planning; spatial utilization
