Abstract

In the era of growing digitalisation, cybersecurity challenges have become critical issues that require serious attention from individuals and organisations. Various types of cyber threats such as ransomware, phishing, and DDoS attacks are increasingly sophisticated and diverse, demanding a comprehensive and proactive approach to digital asset protection. Ensuring computers are protected requires a combination of up-to-date security technologies such as antivirus, firewalls, data encryption, and multifactor authentication, as well as strict security policy implementation and ongoing education. Success in meeting these challenges also depends on adaptability and rapid response to dynamic threats, with the development of effective emergency response plans. The right combination of technology, policy and operational preparedness will provide robust and responsive protection amidst the complexity of today's digital landscape.

Abstract

Encryption is a vital process in computer data security that converts open information into encrypted text to protect it from unauthorised access. The process relies on the use of complex algorithms and decryption keys that ensure that only authorised parties can access the information. Encryption security is crucial in this digital age to maintain privacy and protect the information assets of organisations and individuals during data storage and transmission. However, the implementation of this security faces challenges such as secure key management, selection of robust and efficient algorithms, and complying with regulations related to the use of encryption technology. With continuous development and multi-stakeholder engagement, encryption-based data security can be continuously strengthened to deal with dynamic cyber threats.

Abstract

Public Service Standards are an important component in efforts to improve the quality of state administration. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Public Service Standards in various government agencies. The method used includes a literature study. The evaluation results show that the implementation of these standards has brought improvements in terms of transparency and efficiency of public services. However, there are still some obstacles such as limited resources and differences in understanding among government officials. This research concludes that despite the progress, there is still a need for continuous efforts to optimise the implementation of the Public Service Standard.

Abstract

The use of Big Data has brought many benefits in various sectors, one of which is in improving tax compliance. This abstract discusses the role of Big Data in improving the taxation system through more in-depth and accurate data analysis of taxpayer behaviour. By utilising Big Data technology, tax authorities can identify potential non-compliance and optimise the audit process, as well as personalise services and communications to taxpayers. In addition, Big Data contributes to increased transparency and accountability in taxation, which ultimately encourages higher tax compliance and creates a more efficient and fairer taxation system.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the integration of digital intelligence in the education curriculum by investigating how elements of digital intelligence can be incorporated to support the development of 21st century skills. Through the literature research method, this study collected and analyzed data from various related articles according to the research context. The results showed that the effective integration of digital intelligence into the curriculum requires structural changes and a holistic approach that includes curriculum development, teacher training, and infrastructure changes. The study noted the importance of encouraging students to become not only competent users of technology but also ethical and responsible digital citizens. In addition, it was found that administrative support, collaboration among teachers, and partnerships with parents and communities play an important role in strengthening the implementation of digital intelligence in the curriculum. The conclusion of the study underscores the need for dynamic adaptation of the curriculum to maintain relevance with the ever-changing technological developments.

Abstract

The development of digital intelligence in education is an area that continues to receive academic and practical attention amid rapid technological advances. This research aims to analyze and synthesize the results of recent studies on digital intelligence implementation strategies in the school environment and the challenges faced. By using the literature research method in accordance with the theory of the research context. The results show that unequal access to technological resources, deficiencies in educator training on educational technology, and disparities in digital skills among teachers are the main challenges in integrating digital intelligence in schools. Our findings also emphasize the need for strong technology infrastructure development, comprehensive teacher training programs, and collaborative learning initiatives among teachers to overcome these barriers.

Abstract

In the digital era, the spread of hoaxes or fake news has become an increasingly complex and worrying phenomenon. Hoaxes are not just misinformation, but have a systematic structure and pattern of dissemination, fuelled by political and economic gain, or simply provocation. Social media and digital platforms play a major role as catalysts for the spread of hoaxes due to their characteristics of wide reach, speed of dissemination, and low filtering of truthful information. Mechanisms such as echo chambers and digital platform algorithms amplify the effects of hoaxes, increasing the risk for individuals with low digital literacy. To counter the negative impact of hoaxes, strategic measures are needed such as improving digital literacy, strengthening education on information verification, and developing effective regulations in the digital world. Collaboration between the government, digital platforms and the public is essential to address the threat posed by hoaxes, as well as to shape a more critical and informed society.

Abstract

The phenomenon of hoaxes and echo chambers in the digital space is becoming increasingly worrying as social media algorithms that reinforce user confirmation bias continue to develop. This study aims to analyse the patterns of interaction between hoaxes, echo chambers, and confirmation bias, as well as their impact on social polarisation in the post-truth era. Through literature review and analysis of social media comment interactions, it was found that individuals tend to only be exposed to and believe information that aligns with their beliefs, while differing views are often ignored or even rejected. Filter bubble algorithms reinforce information isolation and create homogeneous echo chambers, allowing hoaxes and misinformation to spread unchallenged. The combination of these three phenomena contributes significantly to social fragmentation, deepens polarisation, and reduces the quality of public discourse. This study emphasises the need to improve digital literacy and algorithm transparency to minimise the negative impact of hoaxes and echo chambers and encourage the creation of an inclusive and dialogic digital space.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the tax policies applied to digital financial services in Indonesia and their impact on the rapidly growing fintech ecosystem. Digital financial services have brought about significant transformations in financial inclusion and innovation, but they have also created new tax regulatory challenges that the government must adapt to. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis. The results of the analysis show that although digital tax policies have succeeded in providing legal certainty and increasing state revenue, these policies also have an impact on increasing fintech operational costs, which affects innovation and financial inclusion. Therefore, balanced and adaptive policies are needed to support the sustainable growth of the fintech ecosystem and optimise fiscal contributions to the state.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of intercultural communication in improving the quality of health services in Indonesia through a literature review on cultural awareness and intercultural communication skills among medical personnel. In the context of Indonesia's multicultural society, health services require medical personnel to be able to interact with patients from various cultural backgrounds effectively, empathetically, and adaptively. This literature study collects and analyses various scientific sources, including journals, books, and research reports from the last 5 to 10 years. The results of the study show that cultural awareness is an important basis for medical personnel in understanding the values, beliefs, and health behaviours of patients, while intercultural communication skills play a role in translating this understanding into effective communication practices that respect differences. The integration of these two aspects has been proven to increase patient trust, satisfaction, and compliance with treatment, which ultimately strengthens the quality of healthcare services. This study recommends the need for policies and continuous training programmes that integrate intercultural communication competencies into the education system and professional practice of healthcare workers in Indonesia, thereby creating more inclusive, equitable, and humane healthcare services.
