Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process of developing Arabic language teaching aids based on humor (KOMIK) at MI Ma’arif Patihan Wetan Ponorogo and to determine its effectiveness. The type of research used is research and development, which refers to the ADDIE model. The data collection method used is observation, interviews, and product validity data analysis using Likert scales and percentage formulas. The results of this research are: 1) The procedures for implementing research and development in this research are as follows: (a) View of the student workbook selected by the school as a learning reference book (b) Knowledge of the content of the material during a semester of learning (c) Understanding the concept of delivering materials in the student workbook (d) Creating a concept similar to the student workbook using the concept of humor (e) Giving humor an attractive appearance (f) Clarifying the purpose of presenting materials in humor (g) Adding some elements to enhance humor. 2) The effectiveness of Arabic language humor for first grade students at MI Ma’arif Patihan Wetan Ponorogo was suitable for use in education. The results of an interview with a fourth-grade teacher at MI Ma’arif Patihan Wetan Ponorogo, revealed that students' grades in Arabic remained relatively unsatisfactory. The current workbooks failed to stimulate students' learning motivation because they provided less interesting material, while learning remained limited due to the lack of adequate facilities to support the learning process. The teacher's efforts aimed to develop learning aids in the form of comics to support teaching and learning activities and make them more enjoyable.المستخلص: أهداف هذه الدراسة لتحليل عملية تطوير وسائل تعليم اللغة العربيّة على أساس الفكاهة  (KOMIK) بالمدرسة الابتدائية معارف فتيهان ويتان فونوروجو ومعرفة فعاليته. نوع البحث المستخدم هو البحث والتطوير، والذي يشير إلى نموذج ADDIE. طريقة جمع البيانات المستخدمة هي الملاحظة والمقابلات وتحليل بيانات صلاحية المنتج باستخدام مقاييس ليكرت وصيغ النسبة المئوية.  نتائج هذه الدراسة هي : 1) أن إجراءات تنفيذ البحث والتطوير وفقًا لـبحثة على الفكاهة التالي:(أ) منظر إلى كتاب أوراق عمل الطالب الذي اختارته المدرسة ككتاب مرجعي للتعلم (ب) معرفة محتوى المادة خلال فصل دراسي من التعلم (ج) فهم مفهوم تسليم المواد في كتاب أوراق عمل الطالب (د) إنشاء مفهوم يشبه كتاب أوراق عمل الطالب باستخدام مفهوم الفكاهة (ه) أعطاء الفكاهة مظهرا جذابا (و) توضيح الغرض من تقديم المواد في الفكاهة (ز) إضافة بعض العناصر لتحسين الفكاهة. 2) كانت فعالية الفكاهة اللغة العربية لطلاب الصف الأول في المدرسة الابتدائية معارف فاتيهان ويتان فونوروجو مناسبة للاستخدام في التعليم. كشفت نتائج مقابلة مع مدرس الصف 4 في مدرسة ابتداءية معارف فتيهان ويتان فونوروجو، أن درجات الطلاب في المواد العربية ظلت غير مرضية نسبيا. لم تتمكن كتاب أوراق عمل الحالية من إثارة دافعية التعلم لدى الطلاب لأنها توفر مواد أقل إثارة للاهتمام، وفي الوقت نفسه لا يزال التعلم محدودًا بسبب توفر المرافق الكافية لدعم عملية التعلم. وكانت الجهود التي بذلها المعلم تهدف إلى تطوير وسائل التعليم على شكل رسوم هزلية لدعم أنشطة التعليم والتعلم وجعلها أكثر ممتعة.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam bisnis UMKM menjadi aspek penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan bisnis di masa mendatang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran teknologi digital dan digital marketing dalam mendorong keberlanjutan daya saing (sustainability competitive) bisnis UMKM di Desa Kemiri, Jenangan, Ponorogo. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis tematik. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital dan digital marketing dapat memperluas akses pasar, memperluas jaringan pelanggan, meningkatkan kualitas produk lokal, serta meningkatkan kesadaran pelanggan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa implementasi teknologi digital dan digital marketing dapat menjadi strategi bisnis yang efektif dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan UMKM di Desa Kemiri Kecamatan Jenangan.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the development process of the pop up box media, and analyze the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of pop up box media developed to improve the learning outcomes of students in Islamic Junior High School Hudatulmuna 2. This type of research is Research and Development by taking steps from the ADDIE development model. Samples in this study are students in Class 7A and 7B a number of each 13 children. Aspects that are validated by the validator are material aspects and media aspects. The practicality of pop up box media is known by providing response questionnaires to learners. The effectiveness of pop up box media is known by providing tests to learners. The results of this study are: 1) The development process of pop up box media is carried out through 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. 2) The pop up box is declared very valid shown from the results of the validity of the material and the media that got an average percentage of 85.8%. The pop up box is stated to be very practical shown from the positive response of students who obtained a percentage of 93%. The pop up box declared quite effective is shown from the results of the N-Gain test of 59.52%. It can be concluded that pop up box Learning media has been tested to be valid, practical and effective in improving learners learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The ability of visually impaired students to master the Arabic language at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo. 2) The factors affecting the ability of visually impaired students to understand Arabic learning at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo. 3) The learning models used for visually impaired students at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo. The results of this study indicate that the ability of visually impaired students to learn Arabic at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo is as follows: 1) The ability of visually impaired students to understand Arabic learning is considered quite good, where students can follow the learning process without falling behind regular students. 2) The factors affecting the ability of visually impaired students to understand Arabic learning at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo include internal and external factors. Internal factors include learning attitude, learning motivation, focus in learning, self-confidence, and study habits. External factors include family, the school environment, including teachers, peers, and available facilities to support the continuity of the learning process. 3) Teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo use a direct teaching model because this approach allows teachers to quickly enhance students' knowledge and confidence. This direct teaching model focuses on the way teachers actively engage in classroom activities, making it highly suitable for visually impaired students who have visual limitations. In addition, a cooperative learning model is also applied at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Ponorogo, which trains students to collaborate with their groups.

Abstract

The Islamic conquest of Constantinople in the 14th century is a captivating historical episode in history that continues to intrigue historians. It stands out due to the involvement of two major world religions - Islam and Christianity. Furthermore, this conquest marked the end of the Roman civilization. One notable aspect of this conquest was the harmonious relationship between Muslims and Christians, which persisted before and after the event. This study aims to explore the implementation of religious moderation in Constantinople to resolve political conflicts. Adopting a historical methodology, the research collects data through extensive documentation and literature studies, employing a socio-political approach. The findings highlight that religious moderation played a crucial role in conflict resolution during the 14th century in Constantinople. The concept of religious moderation was not only applied before the conquest, but also after it. Before the conquest, the value of moderation was demonstrated through peaceful negotiations between the Islamic kingdom and the Catholic prelate in Rome. Several treaties were agreed upon, emphasizing the importance of faith and peaceful dialogue over resorting to military confrontation. Following the conquest, Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih exemplified religious moderation by engaging in negotiations with the inhabitants of Hagia Sophia. They agreed an agreement allowing Christians to continue practicing their faith despite being under Islamic rule. Additionally, al-Fatih displayed respectful treatment towards the prelate and Christian warlords, further exemplifying the value of moderation. The findings of this study shed light on the significance of religious moderation in resolving conflicts and offer a fascinating insight into the history of Constantinople during this period

Abstract

The rapid development of education in the 21st century demands innovative learning models that accommodate diverse educational needs. Traditional learning models often fail to address the varied learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds of students. This research aims to explore and develop innovative learning models that enhance inclusivity and effectiveness in diverse educational settings. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving observations, interviews, and document analysis in several educational institutions. The findings indicate that the integration of technology-based learning, differentiated instruction, and student-centered approaches significantly improves learning outcomes and engagement. Furthermore, adaptive and flexible models cater to students with different cognitive and socio-cultural backgrounds, fostering a more inclusive learning environment. The study concludes that continuous innovation in learning models is essential for addressing the dynamic challenges of modern education. Implementing personalized and technology-integrated approaches enhances learning effectiveness, equity, and accessibility. Future research should focus on refining these models and evaluating their long-term impact on student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Think Pair Share Model on Reading Ability in Understanding Arabic reading texts in Eighth Grade Students of MTs Ma'arif Balong Ponorogo. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach of the experimental model with a quasi-experimental research type. The sample in this study consisted of 28 students in the experimental class and 26 students in the control class. Data collection in this study used test techniques, observation, and interviewing techniques. The data analysis used is the Independent Sample t-test and N-Gain test. The results showed that (1) There is a difference in reading ability in understanding reading texts between using the think pair share learning model (experimental class) and not using the think pair share learning model (control class) in the Arabic language subject. This is evidenced by using an independent sample t-test, which results in less than 0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. (2) there is effectiveness in improving reading ability in understanding Arabic Reading texts, as evidenced by the N-Gain score of 67.9%, which is categorized as quite effective, so it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model think pair share is effectively used for the Eighth Grade students of MTs Ma'arif Balong Ponorogo.

Abstract

MSMEs ignore the important role of marketing strategy in product adoption in society. One of the elements of MSMEs to further increase the selling value of goods is labels and packaging. The mentoring activity for making packaged goods labels is used to empower quality improvement and increase the selling value of MSMEs. The object of this activity is the business actor Bu Wanti from Bondrang Village, Ponorogo Regency, Sawoo District. Project products are one of the MSME goods in this community. The obstacle faced by MSMEs is the low quality of label and packaging designs on their products, in addition to the lack of infrastructure and supporting facilities for label designs on product packaging. So that when compared to comparable competitor products, MSME partner products are less desirable. The number of goods that can be produced cannot be increased because the UMKM products in the village do not yet have a large market share. This research uses the ABCD (Asset Base Community Development) approach or method. There are 5 steps in this method, namely inculturation, discovery, design, define and reflection. Pre-activity, core activity, and activity evaluation constitute the implementation strategy. The results of the activity include recommendations for using the latest, hygienic, safe and modern packaging available. This is done as a marketing tactic to attract customer attention which has an impact on increasing sales. The output of the activity is in the form of instructions for making packaging labels and ready-to-use designs for these MSME actors.Keywords: ABCD , Label, Accompaniment, Marketing Strategy

Abstract

This study scrutinizes structural deficiencies in the governance of productive zakat distribution at BAZNAS Lampung Province, specifically focusing on the absence of empowerment-based distribution modules, mentorship practices that lack clear and measurable competency frameworks, and insufficient long-term monitoring mechanisms. Adopting a normative and empirical approach, the research derives data from in-depth interviews with amil and mustahik, complemented by an analysis of regulatory and institutional documents. Findings indicate that distribution remains predominantly administrative, mentorship lacks measurable competency indicators, and evaluation systems fail to capture sustained trajectories of mustahik business development. The novelty of this research lies in the formulation of an integrated module synthesizing legal perspectives, empowerment theory, and empirical practices to fortify zakat governance. The proposed module encompasses initial assessments, competency-based mentorship, and long-term performance evaluation systems. Theoretically, this study enriches the discourse on zakat governance; practically, it offers a replicable operational model to enhance accountability and mustahik self-reliance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration between spiritual healing and Islamic education in the practice of ruqyah in Ponorogo. It has been perceived solely as a method of spiritual healing through reciting verses from the Qur'an and special prayers. Some researchers said that it not only serves as therapy but also as Islamic education. This study employed a qualitative case study approach, focusing on the ruqyah practices of Jam'iyyah Ruqyah Aswaja (JRA) Batoro Katong Ponorogo. The data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. Then, it was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that ruqyah serves a dual function: first, as a means of healing for individuals experiencing medical, non-medical, or psychological disorders; second, as an instrument of Islamic education that instills the values of faith, worship, and morals in patients. The integration of these two functions shows that ruqyah can be positioned as a holistic religious practice, combining therapeutic and pedagogical aspects. This study implies that ruqyah can be developed as an integrative non-formal model of Islamic education, serving not only as a spiritual healing therapy but also as a medium for nurturing faith, worship, and moral values within the community.
