Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam operasional instansi pemerintah. Pengadilan Agama Tanjungbalai merupakan salah satu instansi yang perlu beradaptasi dengan teknologi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam penilaian kinerja pegawainya. Saat ini, proses penilaian kinerja di Pengadilan Agama Tanjungbalai masih menggunakan sheet Excel yang tidak efisien dan rentan terhadap kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis metode Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) yang dapat membantu pimpinan dalam menilai kinerja pegawai secara lebih akurat dan efisien. Metode MAUT dipilih karena mampu mengkonversi berbagai kriteria penilaian menjadi nilai numerik dalam skala 0 sampai 1, memudahkan proses evaluasi dan pemeringkatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor Pengadilan Agama Kota Tanjungbalai dengan fokus pada pegawai honor. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP Codeigniter 3 dan mengimplementasikan metode MAUT untuk menilai kinerja berdasarkan beberapa kriteria. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sistem berbasis website meningkatkan efisiensi proses penilaian sebesar 40%, karena waktu yang diperlukan untuk mengumpulkan, memproses, dan menganalisis data berkurang secara signifikan. Selain itu, akurasi penilaian juga meningkat sebesar 25% karena sistem otomatis mengeliminasi kesalahan input data yang sering terjadi pada metode manual. Dengan demikian, sistem ini tidak hanya mempercepat proses penilaian tetapi juga menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih andal dan tepat sasaran dibandingkan dengan sistem manual yang ada sebelumnya. Abstract

Red brick is one of the building materials used to make building walls. Red bricks are made from clay and can be mixed using additives. The use of clay has the most composition in the red brick mixture. Adding addictive materials is an effort that many researchers have made to improve the quality of red bricks. In this study, researchers were interested in using carrageenan as a mixture of red bricks. The research was carried out experimentally in the laboratory by making brick samples measuring 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm with various mixtures of BMC (control), BMK5 with the addition of 5% carrageenan, BMK10 with the addition of 10% carrageenan, and BMK15 with the addition of 15% carrageenan with drying temperature 50°C, 100°C, and 150°C for 24 hours.Research data was obtained through an experimental process of testing the compressive strength of red bricks using a compression test equipment. The data obtained was processed to obtain the compressive strength value of the red brick. The results showed that addition of 5% of the carrageenan mixture had an effect on the compressive strength of the red brick. Addition of 5% carrageenan contributed to the increase in the compressive strength of the red brick. There was a decrease in the compressive strength of the red brick in the sample with the percentage of addition carrageenan by 10% and 15 %. The ideal drying temperature for a mixture of red bricks with carrageenan is at 50℃ for 24 hours.

Abstract

Campus is the right place to promote the concept of sustainable development to the academic community and the surrounding community. The application of the green campus concept is a sustainable effort to reduce carbon that occurs on the Medan State Polytechnic campus. Based on the UI GreenMetric Guideline 2023, we will find out how much scoring from the existing conditions achieved for the setting and infrastructure (SI) category from the maximum scoring of 15% of the total. By knowing the scoring of the existing conditions, the researcher seeks to be able to increase the scoring of the SI indicator based on the UI GreenMetric Guideline 2023 which will be outlined in the final landscape of Medan State Polytechnic to get the maximum score of the SI indicator based on the UI GreenMetric Guideline 2023. The method used is quantitative using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting surveys while secondary data was obtained from the Medan State Polytechnic agency. From the results of the scoring calculation for the setting and infrastructure (SI) category, the Politeknik Negeri Medan campus received a score of 440 out of 1500 points or 29.33%. For efforts to increase scoring, the maximum value is 575 points out of 1500 points. Only 9% can be maximized for additional scoring that can be done on the Politeknik Negeri Medan. So that the final score obtained is 38.33%. The researcher hopes that the research can be useful for Politeknik Negeri Medan as a sustainable effort to implement the green campus concept at Politeknik Negeri Medan.

Abstract

The Pavement Design Manual 2024, which requires the use of asphalt PG 70 for loads above 30 million ESAL and the increasing volume of palm oil waste that requires handling and reuse, as well as the need for alternative materials to be used as fillers, make it necessary to develop environmentally friendly materials by combining asphalt PG-70 and palm oil fuel ash as fillers. This pavement mixture is expected to be a mixture containing environmentally friendly road construction materials as well as a solution to the utilization of palm oil waste that can withstand high traffic loads. Testing of aggregate materials, asphalt, and asphalt mixtures was carried out at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Medan State Polytechnic, in accordance with SNI, which refers to the General Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction Work 2018 Revision 2. The results obtained were that palm oil fuel ash as filler in asphalt mixture PG 70 gave an average value of stability above 1000 kg, density of 2-3 gr/ml, and VFA above 65% in all variations of filler content, for VIM values between 3-5% in the 50% and 75% variations, and VMA values above 15% in the 50%, 75% and 100% variations, while the flow value did not meet the standard value of 2-4 mm for all variations of filler content. Asphalt mixture PG 70 with palm oil fuel ash filler produces good density and stability values, but under repeated loading it will easily cause waves and rutting in the pavement due to the rigid nature of the mixture with a very high flow value and thus allow bleeding because the value of VFA is also very high.

Abstract

Generally, residential buildings, especially low-rise ones in North Sumatra, are not well planned and built with poor supervision. In its planning, it often overrides the calculation of structural analysis. This residential building is known to have many failures during earthquakes. The research team is interested in studying the important elements in the design and construction of residential buildings, focusing on very crucial structural aspects. By considering these aspects comprehensively, it is hoped that the end result will be a sturdy, functional, and sustainable structural design of a residential building for its occupants.

Abstract

Plantation commodities are one of the largest contributors to Indonesia's foreign exchange. In 2019, the total value of plantation exports reached IDR 359.14 trillion. As the fourth largest producer of coffee beans in the world, Indonesia places coffee as one of its leading plantation commodities. In 2019 until now, the value of coffee exports ranks as the fourth largest commodity in Indonesia. If this program's sustainability plan goes well, it is hoped that partners will be able to utilize the innovative technology that has been provided independently, increase harvest yields and be able to sell and distribute the harvest and even export to Malaysia. The activity will be carried out until December 2024. This activity will be carried out in Kab. Karo. The concept of knowledge and technology transfer carried out in this activity is divided into three stages. The first stage is the preparation of activities, the stage of implementation of coaching activities and evaluation of activities.Based on the results of visits and interactions with partners, it shows that there are 3 problems as previously described. then the programs and solutions offered to solve the problems faced by these partners are:The problem faced by Megara Coffee partners is that the very small sales results are caused by farmers directly selling the coffee logs to middlemen, because coffee processing activities are expensive.Megara Coffee and Warung Dayac do not yet have adequate processing technology and have done it semi-conventionally for post-harvest activities, namely with the help of a small huller machine with a capacity of 10 kg/hour. Increase in partner production up to 100% and partner product packaging becomes export standardization.

Abstract

Remote areas often face challenges in providing reliable and affordable access to electricity, In West Sumatra, there are still many 3T areas that lack access to electricity. Renewable energy sources, such as Micro Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH), can be the ideal solution to meet the energy needs in these areas. However, to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of PLTMH, it is essential to optimize the development and utilization of technology, particularly in the application of Pelton turbines.The goal of this research is to produce a micro-hydro power plant that can work optimally and efficiently to generate electrical energy for people without access to electricity. It is hoped that this research can also help improve the community's economic situation by meeting their economic needs. This activity aligns with the goals outlined in the PNP strategic plan, which focuses on developing technology to support the community's economy.The method used in this research is applicable design and construction based on community needs, followed by tool design, tool making, assembly.Initial design data is discharge 50 Lt/s, Head 25 m. From the calculation results, it is found that the absolute speed of the jet is 21.6 m/s, the optimal jet diameter is 2.9 mm, the diameter of the puncture circle is 132.4 mm, the number of bowls is 34, the width of the bowl is 8.26 mm, the height of the bowl is 6, .96 mm, Bowl Depth 2.61 mm, Bowl Mold Allowance 11.92 mm, and generator 3 kW. The process of making a Pelton turbine involves making the Pelton turbine runner, installing the turbine blade to the runner, making the nozzle, installing the generator, painting the tool.

Abstract

Manajemen pencahayaan dalam budidaya buah naga merupakan faktor krusial yang memengaruhi produktivitas tanaman dan hasil panen petani. Buah naga (Hylocereus spp.) merupakan tanaman yang memiliki siklus berbunga pada malam hari dan sangat bergantung pada intensitas serta durasi pencahayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan sistem pencahayaan buatan terhadap peningkatan produktivitas tanaman buah naga. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengamatan langsung pada kebun buah naga yang menerapkan pencahayaan tambahan serta wawancara dengan petani mengenai hasil produksi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan teknik pencahayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lampu LED dengan panjang gelombang tertentu mampu merangsang pembungaan lebih cepat dan meningkatkan kuantitas serta kualitas hasil panen. Selain itu, manajemen pencahayaan yang tepat juga berkontribusi dalam memperpanjang masa panen dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada musim berbunga alami. Dengan demikian, strategi pencahayaan buatan dapat menjadi solusi efektif bagi petani dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kebun buah naga secara berkelanjutan.
