Abstract

The development of times marked by an increase in globalization impacts the morals and ethics of the nation's next generation. Innovation is therefore necessary to prevent moral erosion and foster religious character formation. This study aims to explain educational innovation in the form of a religious-based local content curriculum in terms of (1) purpose; (2) material; (3) media; (4) approach; and (5) evaluation. We employed qualitative methods in this investigation. The research findings indicate that the Solok District Government has innovated in education by developing a Religious-Based Local Content Curriculum policy to foster a religious character at the formal education level. The goal is to help students understand the region's spiritual values and local wisdom. The curriculum comprises stand-alone subjects and integrated study materials with relevant subjects. The learning module includes printed and written media. The learning module lays out the learning strategy. The evaluation is formative, summative, and authentic. This study serves as a reference for developing religion-based local content curricula.

Abstract

Pengembangan materi akidah akhlak haruslah berkonsep kekinian. Penurunan kepedulian sosial pada remaja menjadi permasalahan di masyarakat saat ini. Ini ditunjukkan oleh kurangnya perhatian terhadap kegiatan sosial di sekitar rumah, kurangnya menghargai kehadiran orang lain, dan kurangnya kepekaan terhadap lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengembangan materi Akidah Akhlak berbasis pendidikan karakter peduli sosial di MTsN lima Kota Padang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan, artinya dilakukan di tempat yang dimaksud. Pendekatannya adalah kualitatif yang mana memungkinkan pemahaman fenomena sosial atau perilaku manusia melalui analisis deskriptif, interpretatif, dan mendalam. Pengembangan materi akidah akhlak berbasis kepedulian sosial dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap. Mulai dari analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan kurikulum, pengembangan materi, implementasi, hingga evaluasi.Guru mata pelajaran akidah akhlak dapat menggunakan materi akidah akhlak yang terintegrasi dengan pendidikan karakter ini dengan harapan adanya perbaikan akhlak pada peserta didiknya.

Abstract

Surau telah mengalami perubahan fungsi pada abad dua puluh satu Masehi, yang semulanya digunakan sebagai bagian utama dari pendidikan, kini pada umumnya hanya menjadi tempat beribadah saja. Maka dari itu, sistem pendidikan yang diterapkan di Surau perlu dipahami oleh generasi sekarang agar nilai-nilai pendidikannya dapat diperbarui dalam konteks masa kini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Surau dan refleksinya sebagai sarana Tafaqquh fi al-Din serta urgensinya bagi modernisasi pendidikan Islam, menurut QS. al-Taubah seratus dua puluh dua. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur yang merupakan suatu kajian ilmiah yang berfokus pada satu topik tertentu dengan  memberikan gambaran mengenai perkembangan topik tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah meskipun fungsi Surau saat ini telah mengalami perubahan, namun urgensi pendidikan di Surau tetap eksis. Urgensi Surau terhadap modernisasi Pendidikan Islam di Sumatera Barat terlihat dari keberadaan Surau hari ini sudah mereformasi diri menjadi lembaga Pendidikan Islam yang mumpuni dan masyhur ke seluruh Nusantara diantaranya Pondok Pesantren  Sumatera Thawalib Parabek yang merupakan reformasi Surau Parabek, Pondok pesantren  Thawalib Padang Panjang reformasi dari Surau jembatan Besi, Sumatera Darul Punun Abbasiah reformasi dari Surau Padang Japang, Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyah Islamiyah reformasi dari Surau Canduang Baso Bukittinggi, serta beberapa reformasi Surau lainnya.

Abstract

Sebelum datangnya islam ke Jazirah Arab, peradaban pada masa itu dikenal dengan sebutan jahiliyah yang bermakna bodoh dalam aspek keyakinan/ketuhanan. Tauhid merupakan sesuatu yang jarang ditemui di kalangan bangsa Arab ketika itu, dan setelah Islam tersebar di tengah-tengah Arab, masyarakat ketika itu tidak lagi disebut dengan jahiliyah yang artinya Islam berhasil membawa kemajuan pada aspek ketuhanan. Oleh karena itu, menarik untuk diteliti berkaitan dengan “Kepercayaan Arab Pra Islam dan Perspektif Islam dalam menyikapinya”. Islam menyikapi kepercayaan masyarakat Arab ketika itu dengan 3 sikap, yaitu: menerima sekaligus menyempurnakan, mengubah, dan juga melarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kepercayaan-kepercayaan masyarakat Arab pra Islam yang ditemukan dari berbagai sumber literasi serta memaparkan perspektif Islam dalam menyikapi kepercayaan-kepercayaan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sejarah. Sebelum datangnya Islam, kepercayaan masyarakat Arab pada zaman itu terbagi menjadi 4 golongan. Fatalisme, Paganisme, Kepercayaan pada Allah, dan Monotheisme adalah 4 golongan tersebut. Sebelum islam turun di Jazirah Arab, telah ada berbagai macam ritual keagamaan di sana. Setelah Islam turun, ditanggapi berbagai ritual keagamaan tersebut di dalam Al-Qur’an dengan 3 sikap, yaitu: menerima sekaligus menyempurnakan, mengubah, dan juga melarang. 3 Perspektif tersebut menunjukkan posisi Islam dalam menyikapi ritual keagamaan Arab pra Islam.

Abstract

Al-Azhar University is evidence of the oldest Islamic education in the world, which was founded during the Fatimid dynasty in Egypt and functions as a center for Islamic studies and a center for the spread of Isma'ili Shiite teachings. As time went by and changes in Islamic governments, the al-Azhar mosque turned into a madrasa to spread Sunni Islam and has now become a university that has produced many ulama figures who have given birth to new views and ideas for reform, thus influencing the development of education and the Islamic world throughout the world. This research aims to determine the dynamics of universities and educational reform in Egypt which have an impact on Muslims globally, including Indonesia. This research uses library research with references from books, articles and historical analysis of Al-Azhar. The results of this research are knowledge of al-Azhar from the Fatimid dynasty to the present, this motivates Muslims to continue studying and making the mosque prosperous and advancing Islamic education.

Abstract

Learning to read the Qur'an often experiences obstacles due to the methods used that are not in accordance with the needs. The use of methods in learning to read the Qur'an should be tailored to the student's condition, both based on age and ability level. And also the use of the method depends on how the method is taught and the criteria of the teacher who teaches the method. The purpose of the activity of Learning to Read the Qur'an Using the Al Hidayah Method at Al-Madinah Junior High School is to facilitate students in learning to read the Qur'an. The methods used are mentoring and direct practice. In practice, the Al-Hidayah method uses emphasis by presenting color variations to make it easier for students to remember and practice directly the material taught. In addition, the Al-Hidayah Method also emphasizes the teacher's ability to recite the material taught. The method used in this assistance is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach which empowers students to make it easier to learn to read the Quran. The results obtained after these activities are that students find it easier to learn to read the Qur'an. Students are easier to read hijaiyah letters according to their makhraj. Students also easily understand other materials presented in the Al-Hidayah book as well as how to read the Qur'an properly and correctly.

Abstract

The biggest challenge for education in Indonesia today is the moral degradation that occurs among students. To anticipate this, character education is advanced as one of the right alternative solutions. In addition, learning akidah akhlak is also a subject that has a close relationship with character education and moral improvement of students. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning of moral creed as appreciative character education at MTsN 5 Padang City. This type of research is based on field research, namely research conducted by going directly to the field, namely at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 5 Kota Padang with a qualitative descriptive approach. The result of this research is that the character of respect has an important value for students and also for the teacher himself. Besides making the class more active, students' confidence becomes more confident in expressing their opinions. In the independent curriculum, the application of respect character values is easier to do with the implementation of problem-based and project-based learning models. With group work, students can directly apply the character of respect apart from getting the theory given by the teacher. Not to forget, the teacher must also conduct an evaluation on the emotional realm so that the application of the character of respect is more embedded in the chest of participants in the curriculum.

Abstract

Islam and Islamic education are a unity that has a close relationship with each other in Islamic history. Since the beginning of Islamic history, the history of Islamic education has also begun. Education itself is something that is continuous in history and often produces dynamics that go up and down. The Bani Umayyah period is one of the constituent components of the history of Islamic education, which at that time had its own educational dynamics so that it was known as the incubation period. The purpose of this research is to find out the dynamics of education during the Umayyad period. This research is a literature research and uses historical research methods. The results of the research are in the form of factors that hinder the dynamics of education, government policies regarding education, and natural factors that cause the dynamics of education during the Umayyah period to continue.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru PAI di SMA mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode dalam tulisan ini adalah kuantitatif dekriptif dengan menggunakan intrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua puluh depan yang terdiri dari satu orang kepala sekolah, satu orang wakil kurikulum, empat orang guru PAI serta dua puluh dua orang peserta didik untuk memperluat data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam persepsi guru PAI mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi, keenam persepsi tersebut ialah 1) pentingnya pemahaman guru pai terhadap evaluasi, sebanyak 33% responden mengatakan setuju dan 67% responden mengatakan sangat setuju. 2) Pentingnya wawasan guru pai tentang aplikasi quizizz, terdapat 25% responden setuju, 75% sangat setuju. 3) Efisien untuk melaksanakan tes, terlihat 50% responden menyatakan setuju, 33% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden mengatakan tidak setuju. 4) Mempermudah analisis tingkat kesukaran soal, 83% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden setuju. 5) Memudahkan guru melihat nilai peserta didik secara keseluruhan, memperlihatkan 50% responden sangat setuju dan 50% responden setuju, dan 6) menghilangkan ketakutan peserta didik terhadap tes, terlihat 50% responden menyatakan setuju, 33% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden mengatakan tidak setuju.

Abstract

This article seeks to delineate the changes implemented by the Majelis Taklim An-Nisa in response to contemporary events. while disclosing numerous initiatives aimed toward progress. The employed methodology is qualitative, utilizing a case study technique. The data source was obtained via interviews with 10 informants, including 1 chairman and 9 members of the An-Nisa Taklim Council. Informants were selected through a purposive sampling method based on the following criteria: (1) possessing a comprehensive understanding, (2) having available time, (3) maintaining active status, and (4) being capable of articulating facts accurately. The researcher conducted observations and documentation to enhance the research data. The acquired data was subsequently analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and the formulation of study conclusions. The data validation methodology entails verifying the data through several sources, methodologies, and temporal contexts. The research findings demonstrate that the Majelis Taklim An-Nisa provides explicit learning references, essential educational materials, and employs technology to mitigate encountered challenges. The researchers anticipate that the findings of this study will catalyze other taklim assemblies to enhance the quality of learning in various dimensions.
