Abstract

Diarrhea is a disorder of defecation more than 3 times a day with a liquid stool consistency, which may be accompanied by blood and/or mucus. This plant has the potential to be used as an alternative treatment for diarrhea, one of which is cowpea (Vigna sinensis L.). Cowpea is a plant that has secondary metabolites in the form of flavonoids, sterols and tannins which are thought to have activity as antidiarrheal. This study aims to determine the activity and dose of cowpea as antidiarrheal against male white mice with oleum ricini-induced diarrhea protection. The test was carried out by inducing mice using 0,75 mL of Ricini oleum orally first, 1 hour later given a test solution in the form of 0,5% Na CMC suspension, 0,52 mg/kgBB loperamide test solution, cowpea infusa doses of 1,5 g/kgBB, 3 g/kgBB and 6 g/kgBB. Then observations were made on the weight of diarrhea feces and the diameter of water absorption every 30 minutes for 5 hours. The results showed that cowpea infusa with doses of 1,5 g/kgBB, 3 g/kgBB and 6 g/kgBB had activity as antidiarrheal indicated by a significant difference in the test group against the negative control group (p ≤0.05).

Abstract

Islam and Islamic education are a unity that has a close relationship with each other in Islamic history. Since the beginning of Islamic history, the history of Islamic education has also begun. Education itself is something that is continuous in history and often produces dynamics that go up and down. The Bani Umayyah period is one of the constituent components of the history of Islamic education, which at that time had its own educational dynamics so that it was known as the incubation period. The purpose of this research is to find out the dynamics of education during the Umayyad period. This research is a literature research and uses historical research methods. The results of the research are in the form of factors that hinder the dynamics of education, government policies regarding education, and natural factors that cause the dynamics of education during the Umayyah period to continue.

Abstract

Metode pengajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif yang mengutamakan pemikiran kritis, keterlibatan siswa, dan partisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari Model pembelajaran ini adalah untuk membantu siswa menjadi pemikir yang lebih otonom, kreatif, dan inventif yang dapat memecahkan masalah, menghasilkan ide-ide baru, dan menggunakan apa yang telah mereka pelajari di dunia nyata. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan prinsip-prinsip dan jenis-jenis model pembelajaran Inovasi dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam. Jenis Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (Library Reseach) yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa studi literatur, dan analisis datanya menggunkan metode analisis isi (Content Analysis). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tersedianya model pembelajaran Inovasi yang dapat digunakan untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam akan memberikan inspirasi bagi siswa untuk mempelajari materi. Awalnya, pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam terasa membosankan ketika menggunakan model tradisional yang terbatas di dalam kelas; namun, dengan menggunakan model CTL, pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat dilakukan di luar kelas, yang pada akhirnya akan menciptakan lingkungan yang menarik karena siswa diberi keleluasaan untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka. Dalam hal ini, Pendidikan Agama Islam menggunakan berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang mutakhir, termasuk Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL), Kontekstual, Pemecahan Masalah, Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan Pembelajaran Kooperatif.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the mathematical concepts contained in the verse Q.S Al-Baqarah: 261 and design a learning design that integrates the mathematical values of this verse. Verse 261 of Surah Al-Baqarah describes a metaphor that connects the value of charity with growth and abundant results, which can be linked to mathematical concepts such as percentages, rows, and series of numbers. This research employs an interdisciplinary approach to explore how junior high school students can transform their understanding of mathematical concepts from the Al-Qur'an into a relevant and enjoyable learning experience. This type of research is qualitative research with a development studies type design research approach. The proposed learning design integrates existing moral values and mathematical concepts using Constructivism and socio-cultural learning. It is hoped that through this integrated learning, students can develop a deeper understanding of mathematics, especially percentages, ranks, and series, as well as increase their awareness of the importance of charity and social contributions. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pendidikan inklusif di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Keleyan Bangkalan yang mencakup analisis terhadap upaya yang telah dilakukan dan tantangan yang masih dihadapi untuk mengintegrasikan siswa penyandang disabilitas sepenuhnya dalam sistem pendidikan. Ini melibatkan evaluasi terhadap strategi pendidikan, fasilitas yang tersedia, serta kesadaran dan penerimaan sosial terhadap penyandang disabilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan inklusif di SLB Negeri Keleyan Bangkalan ini telah membuat langkah signifikan dalam menyediakan akses pendidikan yang lebih adil dan inklusif bagi anak-anak penyandang disabilitas, termasuk tunanetra dan tunarungu. Melalui penyediaan fasilitas dan sumber daya khusus yang memenuhi kebutuhan belajar siswa penyandang disabilitas, sekolah telah berupaya memastikan bahwa setiap siswa memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk belajar dan mengembangkan potensi mereka.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the role of epistemology in the teaching methods of Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers at SMPN 1 MATARAM. The research used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. There are three techniques used in the information collection process, namely interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the study were PPKN teachers at SMPN 1 MATARAM. The results of the study show that the epistemology of Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers in the context of online learning at this school consists of several aspects, namely: (1) The Impact of Teachers' Epistemological Understanding on the Effectiveness of Online Learning at SMPN 1 Mataram in the Context of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, (2) The Significance of Teachers' Epistemological Understanding in Developing Online Learning Methods that are Responsive to Changes in the Digital Era, (3) The Role of Teachers' Epistemology in Pancasila and Citizenship Education in the Context of Online Learning.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media digital dalam promosi merupakan kebutuhan krusial bagi keberlangsungan dan daya saing UMKM di era digital. Namun, masih banyak pelaku usaha yang belum mampu mengoptimalkan potensi ini. Kedai Bakso Budi Trimo Luwong merupakan contoh UMKM yang mengalami kendala dalam promosi dan visibilitas karena belum memiliki akun media sosial dan desain kemasan yang mendukung citra merek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan strategi pendampingan guna meningkatkan promosi dan visibilitas usaha melalui pemanfaatan media sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi pembuatan akun Instagram dan TikTok, perancangan ulang kemasan produk, penyusunan buku menu visual, produksi konten promosi digital, serta penyediaan tautan digital (linktree). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap pentingnya promosi digital, meningkatnya keterlibatan audiens di media sosial, serta perbaikan citra merek. Pendampingan yang dilakukan terbukti mampu memperluas jangkauan konsumen dan memperkuat daya saing usaha secara berkelanjutan melalui optimalisasi platform digital

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Profitability and Corporate Tax toward Capital Structure in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. The unit analysis and observation in this study is food and beverage manufacturing companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange, with total population of 18 companies. From this population, 10 companies are chosen by purposive sampling technique throughout 5 periods of time, specifically from 2014-2018 which sum up to 50 samples.The results of the research analysis show Profitability has a significant effect on and Capital Structure and Corporate Tax partially does not have significant effect on Capital Structure. The results showed that Profitability and Corporate Tax simultaneously have a significant effect on Capital STructure in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014 – 2018. The results of this study are supported by the value of R square which means Profitability and Corporate Tax have an effect on Capital Structure. While the remaining is effected by other factors originating from outside this research model such as sales stability, activa structure, operational leverage, growth rate, control, characteristic of management, characteristic of creditors, rating agency, financial market condition, and financial flexibility.

Abstract

The Tjoe Tik Kiong Temple (慈德宮, Cídé Gōng) in Pasuruan City hosts veneration ritual activity for the Chinese Sea Goddess, Mazu (媽祖, Māzǔ). This study aims to examine the relationship between the actors behind the performance of the Mazu ritual shapes the dynamics of the change process over time. The paper explores how the actors revitalize each other and re-express their Chinese Indonesian identity in the worship of Mazu. Conducted between September 2022 and December 2024, this ethnographic study focuses on the key participants temple caretakers, local Chinese Indonesian devotees, cultural intermediaries, and younger generations who each play distinct roles in the ritual process. The data collection involved direct observation, interviews, and visual documentation during the fieldwork. The results show that the participants’ roles and relationships in the worship activities greatly influence changes and adaptations in the worship of Mazu. The Chinese Indonesian community’s expression of its identity, as articulated through its veneration of Mazu, serves as a testament to its ability to adapt to the contemporary demands of the present. This phenomenon ultimately contributes to the distinctive characteristics of Chinese communities in Indonesia, which differ from those found in other countries.

Abstract

The Student Activity Unit (UKM) for Futsal at Multi Data Palembang University often experiences obstacles in tournament management, such as delays in match information updates, difficulty accessing information by participants, data recording errors, and inefficient time for compiling match brackets. This research aims to design a mobile-based futsal tournament management application called TeamKickOff using the Design Thinking method through five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In the empathize stage, in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 respondents, participatory observation, and document analysis. The define stage produced an empathy map, user persona, point of view, and user journey map. The ideate stage involved brainstorming, card sorting, and wireframe development. Prototypes were developed in three versions (low, mid, and high-fidelity) with features for schedule management, real-time score recording, automatic match brackets, and video documentation. Usability testing with 32 respondents resulted in a SUS score of 78.6 with a task completion rate of 91.3% and a reduction in management time of up to 65% compared to manual methods. The research results show that the TeamKickOff application successfully improved the efficiency of futsal tournament organization and information access for participants, with advantages in video documentation integration and focus on the local campus context in Indonesia.
