Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of instilling diversity values in shaping the moral awareness of students in the midst of multicultural societal conditions. The purpose of this study is to determine the success of the application of Pupuh Sunda ethnopedagogy in increasing moral awareness of diversity values in grade IX C students at SMPN 1 Tarogong Kidul. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart models. The data collection technique is carried out by observation techniques, and test techniques. After the data is obtained, it is analyzed and reflected using the percentage technique. The results of the study show that: 1) Teachers experienced an increase in their ability to design lesson plans in the first cycle reaching a score of 2.50, the second cycle reaching a score of 3.18, and the third cycle reaching a score of 3.77. 2) There is an increase in the moral feeling of diversity of students, the number of students who have not increased (BM) in cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III does not exist. The number of students who began to increase (MM) in the first cycle was 5 children (13.8%), the second cycle there were 15 children (41.6%), and the third cycle there were 19 children (52.7%). The number of children greatly increased (SM) in the first cycle there were 7 children (19.4%), the second cycle there were 12 children (33.3%) and the third cycle there were 18 children (50%). This proves that the application of Pupuh Sunda Ethnopedagogy in PPKn learning can significantly increase the moral feeling of diversity of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi "Urgensi Projek Berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Budaya dan Kewarganegaraan Siswa Sekolah Dasar." Tingkat literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan yang rendah di kalangan siswa dasar di era globalisasi menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini. berbagai kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami nilai-nilai budaya dan konsep kewarganegaraan. Kurangnya paparan terhadap kearifan lokal, terbatasnya integrasi kearifan lokal dalam kurikulum, dan fokus pada pencapaian akademis menjadi tantangan utama. Penelitian ini mengusulkan metode pembelajaran projek dengan tujuan meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan siswa. Proyek ini diimplementasikan melalui studi literatur dengan fokus pada tujuh tema, seperti kearifan lokal, gaya hidup berkelanjutan, dan suara demokrasi. Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa tidak hanya memahami konsep, tetapi juga mampu menjelaskan kepentingan pembelajaran dan mengaplikasikannya dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, menggunakan buku dan literatur sebagai sumber utama. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan, membentuk generasi muda yang memahami budaya, kewarganegaraan, dan nilai-nilai yang mendasari kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

Literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan itu tidak berpacu pada budaya saja melainkan dapat membangun identitas sebagai bangsa Indonesia di era saat ini. Adat yang ada pada salah satu desa yang harus dilestarikan oleh siswa sekolah dasar sangat penting. Oleh karena itu sebagai calon tenaga pendidik dapat mengenalkan budaya yang ada di desa kebulen kepada siswa, guna siswa sekolah dasar bisa menjaga kelestarian budaya yang ada di desa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pentingnya literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada pemeliharaan adat istiadat di desa Kebulen. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengenalan dan penyuluhan tentang budaya desa kepada siswa sekolah dasar oleh calon tenaga pendidik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan apresiasi terhadap warisan budaya lokal meningkat pada siswa setelah mereka diperkenalkan dengan nilai-nilai budaya desa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi budaya dalam membangun identitas nasional dan melestarikan warisan budaya, serta menekankan peran penting pendidikan dalam menjaga keberlangsungan budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguatan literasi budaya dalam mempertahakan budaya masyarakat Indonesia di era saat ini. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan studi pustaka untuk menelusuri penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya dengan topik yang sama. Metode yang digunakan dalam peneliitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dimana fokus utama adalah penjelasan dan gambaran secara mendalam terkait karakterisrik dan konteks fenomena yang diteliti. Pengumpulan informasi dan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui telaah berbagai studi kasus yang terdapat dalam litelatur jurnal dan buku elektronik yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Seluruh sumber data yang digunakan telah diverifikasi keakuratannya. Penelitian ini menunjukan hasil bahwa pentingnya penguatan literasi budaya dalam mempertahankan budaya bangsa Indonesia saat ini karena salah satu dampak dari kemajuan teknologi yaitu memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses berbagai kebudayaan bangsa asing, sehingga hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan adanya pengaruh budaya asing kepada masyarakat sebab kemunculan budaya luar tidak selalu sejalan dengan nilai dan norma budaya bangsa.

Abstract

Cultural literacy skills are important to have so that students are not easily influenced by foreign cultures that enter. By improving their cultural literacy skills, they will better appreciate, maintain, and preserve the local culture found in the Indonesian community. The aim of writing this article is to see the role of Indonesian folklore in increasing student literacy, especially elementary school students. The research method used is a qualitative method with a library study approach. Data obtained by searching for journals, e-books and articles related to keywords and discussion topics. The results of the research show that folklore can improve students' literacy skills, especially by increasing character values ​​and knowledge of the unique characteristics of each region in Indonesia

Abstract

The presence of globalization plays a role in the development or change of social interactions, cultures, or habits of Indonesian people, especially the younger generation who tend to learn foreign cultures rather than their own. Awareness of traditional culture is essential to ensure that traditional culture still exists. The research method used is a literature study with data collection techniques through scientific articles, books, and relevant references. The result of this study is the need for public awareness of the importance of preserving traditional culture, as well as the younger generation has an important role in preserving traditional culture, namely being able to increase cultural competence, participate in cultural activities, maintain politeness in association, and the reintroduction of local culture through education, especially for elementary school children

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of cultural literacy in the education of elementary school children. The research method used is the literature review method, which focuses on analyzing the latest relevant literature. Articles are obtained from various valid sources, namely google scholar. The results show that the importance of implementing cultural literacy education in primary schools is a complex challenge, but it can be overcome through a holistic approach and planned solutions. The key to success in bringing this concept into the classroom involves teacher training, integration of cultural literacy materials in the curriculum, and parent and community participation. Close collaboration between various parties, including the government and higher education institutions, as well as adjustments to supportive education policies, are important steps to create a learning environment that can provide children with a deep understanding of cultural diversity

Abstract

Cultural diversity in Indonesia indicates that Indonesia is a country that has many differences. These differences should be a binder between nations in Indonesia. Differences provoke the emergence of tolerance. Tolerance should be introduced as early as possible as a provision in the future. This study aims to determine the role of cultural and civic literacy in fostering tolerance between students. This research uses qualitative methods with literature review. Data collection through various books, articles, and other relevant references. The results of data analysis show that cultural and civic literacy is a fortress in people's lives to create a peaceful life with differences.
