Abstract

The research objective is to find out: the elements of social capital in the Lake Toba region; The main components of social capital that affect tourist satisfaction in the Lake Toba region; The main component with the highest relationship or influence on social capital. Questionnaires were distributed to 170 respondents aged 17 years and over. International tourists as many as 19 people and domestic tourists as many as 151 people. Data is reviewed by exploratory factor analysis techniques. The results of the study are: Social capital that influences tourist satisfaction includes 15 components; Extraction of components produces 3 main components; The main components include: Tourist satisfaction with community trust in the Lake Toba area; Tourist satisfaction with community norms in the Lake Toba region; Tourist satisfaction with the social network of the community in the Lake Toba region; The highest average loading factor for component 1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organisational culture and work environment on the employee performance of PT. Nafasindo Medan. The decline in employee performance is due to corporate culture and work environment. The population in this study was: 75 employees. The number of samples in this study was 75 employees. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The study concludes that Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT. Nafasindo Medan. Partially, the Work Environment has a positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance of PT. Nafasindo Medan. Simultaneously Organizational Culture and Work Environment have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT. Nafasindo Medan.

Abstract

Khalayak sasaran strategis yang di pilih dalam pengabdian adalah para guru Perguruan SD Tunas Harapan Medan yang memiliki pemahaman pengoperasian Zoom yang terbatas. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk (1) Membantu para guru dengan memberikan pemahaman dan pengoperasian mengenai Zoom supaya lebih memilih proses belajar mengajar dengan aplikasi Zoom. (2) Memberikan saran kepada sekolah untuk melengkapi saran pendukung yaitu Wifi yang terkoneksi ke seluruh ruangan kelas atau beberapa kelas. (3) Memberikan saran kepada sekolah untuk menginformasikan kepada para orang tua murid agar dapat menggunakan paket-paket internet yang disediakan pemerintah. Jumlah guru Perguruan SD Tunas Harapan Medan sebanyak 25 orang. Guru-guru yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 16 orang. Materi yang diberikan kepada para guru Perguruan SD Tunas Harapan Medan yaitu meliputi cara mengoperasikan Zoom sebagai Host dan Participant. Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan penyuluhan ini, tim pengabdi membagi kegiatan ini menjadi 2 sesi, yaitu sesi pertama yaitu pemberian pengarahan Zoom dan sesi kedua yaitu tanya jawab serta praktek langsung. Selama kegiatan penyuluhan yang diadakan di Perguruan SD Tunas Harapan Medan berjalan lancar sesuai harapan tim pengabdi. Semua guru yang menjadi khalayak sasaran PKM ini, sangat antusias dan bersemangat. Setelah kegiatan penyuluhan ini selesai, tim pengabdi mengharapkan para guru dapat mengoperasikan Zoom serta menerapkannya dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This research is intended to know the influence of world oil price, economic growth, and government expenditure on unemployem with inflation as moderating variables in Indonesia. Population in this research is Indonesia and 22 of them were selected to be the samples for this research through purposive sampling technique. Estimates conducted by the multiple regression analysis. The data that were used in this study were secondary data, consisted of World Oil Price, Economic Growth and Government Expenditure to Unemployemnt for the year 2000-2021. The results of this research, that Based on the partial test (t test), the World Oil Price, Economic Growth, and Government Expenditure have significant effect on the variables of the Unemployment in Indonesia, the simultan test (F test), World Oil Price, Economic Growth and Government Expenditure have a significant effect on the variables of the Unemployment. The inflation are unable to moderate the relationship between world oil price, economic growth and government expenditure on the unemployment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine, in part and simultaneously, the effects of economic literacy and internal control on the entrepreneurial interest satisfaction of students in Class XII of Private Vocational High School (SMK) 2 Mulia Medan. The study population consisted of 37 class XII students from Private Vocational High School 2 Muria Medan. The sample for this survey consisted of 37 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The analytical methods used are instrumental testing, classical hypothesis testing, hypothesis testing, certainty testing, and multiple regression analysis. The results show that (1) based on subtests (t-tests), financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest among students in Class XII of Private Vocational High School (SMK) 2 Mulia Medan, (2) a subtest-based (t-test) Internal Locus of Control, and (3) a simultaneous test of economic literacy (F-Test) and, based on the Internal Locus of Control, between private class XII students and interested in entrepreneurship at the same time. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze service excellence which has a positive and significant partial effect on user satisfaction, to determine and analyze complaint handling which has a positive and significant partial effect on user satisfaction and to determine and analyze service excellence and complaint handling which have a positive and significant effect simultaneously. on user satisfaction at the Postgraduate Library of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU). The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study was 1,419 members of the Postgraduate Library. The sample in the study was 93 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The analytical method used is instrument test, classical assumption test, hypothesis test, coefficient of determination test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed (1) Based on the Partial Test (t test) service excellence has a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction at the Postgraduate Library of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU), (2) complaint handling has a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction at the Postgraduate Library of Muhammadiyah University North Sumatra (UMSU), (3) Based on the Simultaneous Test (F Test) service excellence and complaint handling simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction at the Postgraduate Library of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU).

Abstract

Preservation of library materials in the library environment is an activity that should get attention. preservation or maintenance of library materials in general is the activity of preserving, maintaining and repairing library materials from destruction, fragility caused by humans, insects, dust, light and the natural environment. In practice, collection preservation activities are not only the responsibility of librarians. Ideally it also requires awareness of users who utilize and use the collection. The purpose of this activity is to increase understanding regarding book collection preservation and improve skills related to book collection preservation. The result of this activity is that the implementation of community service runs smoothly according to the expectations of the community service implementing team, the participants feel that this community service activity is useful, because the participants are aware of the importance of preserving library materials in preserving library materials owned by the library, Participant responses for the service activities carried out stated that the delivery of the material was good and the participants understood the explanation given. This is shown by the interactive atmosphere between the participants and the service team and by assisting with the preservation of book collections, thus adding insight both theoretically and practically regarding the procedure for repairing damaged book collections and preventing damage to book collections.

Abstract

In managing a leading company, it is necessary to pay attention to the level of Local Brand Image and Product Quality as one of the elements that influence the Purchasing Decision. This study aims to determine the effect of local brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions simultaneously. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The number of samples used in this study were 66 respondents, namely a number of customers at PT. Graha Aluminum Products. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing, namely F test (simultaneous) and T test (persial). The result of multiple linear regression Y = 3,326 + 0,357X1 + 0,695X2, shows that the local brand image variable has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a value of tcount 3.105> ttable 2.026. Product Quality variable shows the tcount value of 3.105> 2.026, this means that Product Quality has a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. The result of Fcount is 237.052> Ftable value of 3.25, that there is a significant influence between the variables of Local Brand Image and Product Quality simultaneously affect the Purchase Decision. While the value of the coefficient of determination, it is known that the Adjusted R Square obtained is 0.924 (92.4%), which means that the Local Brand Image and Product Quality are able to explain the Purchase Decision which illustrates the influence of other variables for the Purchasing Decision of PT. Graha Aluminum Products. Advice given to the leadership of PT. Graha Aluminum Medan Products to further enhance the Local Brand Image and Product Quality so that Purchase Decisions are higher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh citra merek dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian minuman merek Aqua.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi Universitas Darma Agung, dengan jumlah 620 orang periode 2017-2020. Sementara sampel yang di peroleh didalam penelitian ini sebanyak 86 orang mahasiswa (responden). Untuk memperoleh data dan keterangan lainnya, penulis menggunakan metode Penelitian Kepustakaan (Library Research). Dalam penelitian digunakan skala likert. Pengujian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analisi regresi linear berganda sebagai berikut Y = 2.854 + 0,389 + 0,166 . Dari persamaan tersebut maka dapat diintrepretasikan bahwa variabel Citra Merek dan Persepsi Harga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Berdasarkan uji t diperoleh bahwa kedua variabel Independen Berpengaruh secara Parsial dimana signifikansi < 0,05. Dan uji F diperoleh bahwa variabel independen berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap varibael dependen dimana F hitung 22,272 > F tabel 2,71.Dan berdasarkan Koefisien determinasi keputusan pembelian konsumen dapat di jelaskan dari hasil regresi sebesar 33,4%, sedangkan sisanya yaitu 66,6 % di jelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar variabel yang di teiiti.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of image, price, and trust on customer loyalty either partially or simultaneously. This research is a quantitative description with an opinion gathering instrument with a questionnaire. The sample in this study were 22 people. Technique of analysis uses multiple linear regression. Primary data were processed with SPSS. Research resulted multiple linear regression equation, namely Y = 8,094 + 0,212X1 + 0,706X2 + 0,466X3. Hypothesis test resulted: Image partially affects customer loyalty, price partially affects customer loyalty and trust partially affects customer loyalty. Furthermore. There is a significant influence simultaneously on image, price and trust on customer loyalty. Adjusted RSquare is 0.746, meaning that the research variable has a significant contribution in explaining customer loyalty, which is 74.60%, while the remaining 25.40% is explained by other factors
