Abstract

Kelurahan Campaga memiliki potensi yang besar didalam perkebunan dan pangan. Komoditi perkebunan yang besar di kelurahan Campaga yaitu cengkeh, kakao dan kopi. Salah satu tanaman komoditi pangan yang besar di kelurahan Campaga yaitu padi. Pengeringan termasuk salah satu proses penting dalam pasca panen untuk mempertahankan kualitas hasil pertanian, dengan melakukan pengeringan kadar air biji-bijian akan berkurang dan mencegah pertumbuhan jamur sehingga dapat disimpan lebih lama. Tujuan dari program kerja ini yaitu sebagai alternatif dalam proses pengeringan biji-bijian khususnya gabah bagi petani di kelurahan Campaga. Program kerja ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat kelurahan Campaga mempermudah dalam proses pengeringan hasil perkebunannya. Metode pelaksanaan program kerja yang dilakukan, yaitu tahapan persiapan yang mencakup kegiatan pembelian bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan dan juga persiapan alat-alat yang akan digunakan dalam pembuatan, tahapan pembuatan dimana merangkai bahan-bahan yang sudah disiapkan menjadi tempat pengering sederhana, tahapan pelaksanaan yaitu sosialisasi tentang manfaat tempat pengering gabah sederhana. Adapun sasaran dari kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat kelurahan Campaga khususnya ibu rumah tangga. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu respon positif dari masyarakat kelurahan Campaga. Adapun respon positif dari masyarakat yaitu ibu-ibu yang mau menerima tempat pengering sederhana yang telah dibuat untuk mencoba mengeringkan gabahnya atau hasil perkebunan lainnya. Kesimpulannya yaitu Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat melalui program kerja Perancangan dan Pembuatan Tempat Pengering Gabah Sederhana di Kelurahan Campaga sebagai bentuk perkenalan kepada masyarakat dan pelaksanaan program kerja memenuhi indikator keberhasilan serta mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat kelurahan Campaga.

Abstract

Kelurahan Campaga, Kecamatan Tompobulu, Kabupaten Bantaeng merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang diperuntukan untuk kawasan pertanian dan pariwisata. Masyarakat di Kelurahan Campaga umumnya memiliki pekarangan yang cukup luas, namun sebagian besar tidak dimanfaatkan dan dibiarkan terbengkalai. Pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan rumah yang paling cocok adalah dengan ditanami sayuran. Konsumsi sayuran harus dilakukan setiap hari karena sayuran sangat penting bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia. Meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya mengkonsumsi pangan sehat, menyebabkan berbagai produk sayuran organik semakin diminati walaupun harganya lebih mahal. Oleh karena itu diperlukan usaha-usaha untuk mendapatkan sayuran yang sehat dengan harga yang murah. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan masyarakat adalah dengan menanam sendiri di pekarangan rumah. Menanam sayuran bukanlah hal yang sulit untuk dilakukan. Namun pengetahuan bagaimana menamam sayuran yang baik di lahan sempit seperti pekarangan rumah belum banyak diketahui. Oleh karena itu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan tujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan rumah serta cara budidaya sayuran organik. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi dari rumah ke rumah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini terlaksana dengan baik dan mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat setempat. Masyarakat cukup antusias dan tertarik serta memahami edukasi yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the government's communication strategies in building religious moderation in Tanjung Balai City. This research holds significance due to the historical prevalence of intolerance instances in the city of Tanjungbalai, earning it the reputation as one of the places with a high level of intolerance. Tanjung Balai possesses a rich historical heritage of local wisdom that might serve as a means to promote religious moderation within the community. This study employs a qualitative research methodology utilizing a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques employed in this article are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, the collected data will be analyzed. The obtained data will undergo analysis employing qualitative research methods.  The research findings indicate that the city of Tanjung Balai is currently rich in ethnic and religious diversity. This city possesses a distinctive cultural background due to the presence of multiple communities that still adhere to animism and dynamism. Local knowledge can be effectively utilized to combat intolerance by promoting unity and setting aside differences. Currently, the government has been advocating for the utilization of local knowledge as a means to achieve religious moderation. However, the extent of its effectiveness has not yet been measured. At this level, it is necessary for the government to actively collaborate and create synergy with the community in order to mitigate religious issues in the city of Tanjung Balai.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang tidak efektif menjadi salah satu permasalahan pembelajaran saat ini, media herbarium kering dinilai mampu menjadi media pembelajaran yang cocok digunakan bagi peserta didik, sehingga menyajikan contoh tumbuhan nyata tidak hanya berupa gambar. Media herbarium kering memiliki potensi besar sebagai media pembelajaran konkrit, karena melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini menjelaskan media herbarium kering terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MTs Nurul Iman Tegalpasir Jambesari Darus Sholah Bondowoso. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik Kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model Siklus Kurt Lewin dengan tahapan: 1) Perencanaan, mencakup penyusunan modul, media pembelajaran, membuat LKPD, membuat lembar observasi, dan soal, 2) Pelaksanaan, mencakup pertemuan pertama dan pertemuan kedua, pertemuan pertama menjelaskan media herbarium kering sejak memilih tumbuhan yang baik, peserta didik juga mengerjakan soal pretest dan posttest. Pertemuan kedua mengumpulkan LKPD dan berdiskusi mempresentasikan hasil pembuatan media herbarium kering, 3) observasi, mencakup guru mata pelajaran IPA bertugas sebagai observer yang mengisi tabel ceklist, 4) refleksi, mencakup peserta didik yang menunjukkan sikap antusiasme dalam mendengarkan penjelasan guru (peneliti). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, tes. Pada tes awal, sebanyak 42, 86% peserta didik mendapatkan skor di bawah 70, namun setelah intervensi terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 78, 57% peserta didik memperoleh nilai di atas 70. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penelitian media herbarium kering dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Media ini tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman belajar bagi peserta didik, tetapi juga membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini lahir dari permasalahan utama yaitu rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa yang diasumsikan kuat disebabkan oleh metode ajar yang monoton dan kurang melibatkan interaksi, keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang digunakan, serta minimnya kesempatan untuk siswa guna melaksanakan partisipasi aktif dalam proses belajar. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa IPA disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang interaktif, sehingga siswa kurang terdorong untuk berpikir kritis maupun aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Fokus penelitian diarahkan untuk memperluas mana penerapan video YouTube yang dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran flipped class mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Plus Miftahul Ulum Kalisat pada topik ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati. Metode yang dipilih yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan gabungan antara deskriptif kualitatif serta kuantitatif, dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi secara berurutan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas VII-D. Pemilihan PTK dimaksudkan untuk mengatasi masalah praktis dalam pembelajaran melalui perbaikan berkelanjutan yang sistematis dan terukur, berdasarkan observasi langsung di kelas. Pengumpulan data utama menggunakan posttest sebagai alat ukur hasil belajar siswa. Selain data kuantitatif berupa nilai, penelitian ini juga mengumpulkan data kualitatif terkait respon, motivasi, dan keterlibatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Temuan yang diperoleh menyatakan terdapat peningkatan signifikan prestasi belajar siswa setelah penggunaan video YouTube dengan model flipped class, terbukti dari peningkatan persentase ketuntasan klasikal dari 68% pada siklus pertama menjadi 80% pada siklus kedua, yang sudah melewati standar ketuntasan minimal sebesar 75%. Temuan ini memotivasi guru guna mengoptimalkan YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif di sekolah berbasis pesantren.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the form of literacy and numeracy skill assessment instrument development that is in accordance with the level of thinking ability of grade 5 students of SD Negeri 01 Senduro. This research used Research and Development with the ADDIE model. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis consisting of data presentation, data reduction, data verification, and drawing conclusions. The results indicated that the literacy and numeracy assessment instruments developed for grade 5 students of SD Negeri 01 Senduro were proven to be relevant, contextual, and in accordance with the level of students' thinking abilities. In short, this development of literacy-numeracy instruments proved to be both relevant and effective, accurately capturing students' abilities through tasks that reflect their everyday experiences and educational environment, and suited to the level of students' thinking for improving the learning process.

Abstract

The low level of creativity and problem-solving skills among elementary school students remains a persistent challenge in education, often caused by teacher-centered approaches that limit opportunities for learners to explore and express innovative ideas. This condition highlights the urgency of designing learning models that actively engage students in constructing knowledge while fostering higher-order thinking. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students’ creativity and problem-solving skills. The research applied a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest only control group design, involving 60 sixth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected using creativity and problem-solving tests, which were developed and validated according to standardized procedures. The data analysis employed an independent sample t-test to compare learning outcomes between groups. The findings reveal that students in the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher levels of creativity and problem-solving skills compared to those in the control group. Conceptually, these results indicate that the PBL model encourages students to generate original ideas, analyze complex situations, and construct critical solutions collaboratively. The study concludes that PBL is an effective pedagogical strategy to promote creativity and problem-solving as essential 21st-century competencies, with implications for strengthening innovative practices in elementary education.

Abstract

The creativity and critical thinking of class XI students at SMK Plus Bustanul Ma'arif is still relatively low. One of the reasons for this is that teachers in carrying out learning do not use media. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of Canva-based learning media on the creativity and critical thinking of class XI students at SMK Plus Bustanul Ma'arif. The method used is Quasi Experiment with a Pretest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. The research instruments used were creativity and critical thinking tests. The homogeneity test results show that the sig value. creativity of 0.115 and a sig value. critical thinking is 0.773, so it can be concluded that the sample variance is homogeneous. Meanwhile, the normality test results show that the sig. creativity and critical thinking in the control group and experimental group were normally distributed because > 0.05. After fulfilling the prerequisite tests, the researcher collected posttest data on creativity and critical thinking in the control class and experimental class which were analyzed using the MANOVA test with an error degree of 5%. The results show that there is the significant influence of Canva-based learning media on the creativity and critical thinking of class XI students at SMK Plus Bustanul Ma'arif; Ha accepted and rejected H0.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) in enhancing students' learning motivation in science. Using a quasi-experimental design, two groups were involved: a control group, which was taught using conventional methods, and an experimental group, which used AR media. The research sample consisted of 42 high school students, divided into two groups of 21 each. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, as well as a motivation questionnaire adapted from the ARCS model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction). The results revealed a significant difference in motivation between the two groups, with the experimental group showing an average posttest score of 84.11, compared to 61.72 in the control group. The t-test showed a significant difference (p = 0.001), and N-gain analysis demonstrated that the experimental group had a higher N-gain (77.59%) compared to the control group (56.56%), indicating the effectiveness of AR. Additionally, the experimental group showed significant improvements in attention and satisfaction. This study concludes that Android-based AR is an effective tool for increasing student motivation in science, and recommends further research on its use in other subjects with larger samples.

Abstract

This study evaluated how well the Android-based learning application “Marbel Sains SD 4-5” helps elementary school students learn science better. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group, involving 178 students selected from a pool of 3,650 students in 33 schools. Participants were divided into high-achieving and low-achieving groups, with each having a control group (conventional learning) and an intervention group (Marbel Sains), totaling 44 students in each group. The data collection tool consisted of a HOTS C4-level questionnaire designed to assess learning outcomes, along with an observation sheet rooted in the active learning model to evaluate student engagement. Due to the non-normal distribution of the data, the Friedman test for repeated measures and the Kruskal-Wallis test for group comparisons were used for analysis. The “Marbel Sains” application significantly improved learning activities and outcomes compared to the conventional method, highlighting its effectiveness as an interactive learning tool.
