Abstract

Abstrak: Pentingnya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pembelajaran Sejarah pada PAI dengan memperkenalkan pendekatan inovatif. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pentingnya memperbaiki tingkat keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah pada PAI dengan menggunakan pendekatan inovatif melalui Pesta Topeng dengan menciptakan suasana belajar yang kreatif dan mengundang partisipasi aktif siswa. Riset ini menjawab permasalahan dimana siswa mengalami kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada pemahaman mereka terhadap sejarah dan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Penelitian ini melibatkan penerapan Pesta Topeng sebagai strategi interaktif dalam pembelajaran Sejarah PAI. Pesta Topeng dipilih karena dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang kreatif, menyenangkan, dan mengundang partisipasi aktif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan 4 guru PAI dan 100 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas XI dan XII yang mengikuti mata pelajaran PAI sebagai subjek penelitian di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan bantuan perangkant lunak NVivo 12. Pesta Topeng mampu memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil survei menunjukkan 95% siswa menjadi termotivasi untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Hasil survei juga menunjukkan 85% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan minat terhadap sejarah dan pemahaman mendalam terkait nilai-nilai keagamaan yang sebelumnya hanya 53%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Sejarah pada mata pelajaran PAI. Strategi Pesta Topeng dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif untuk mengatasi masalah keterlibatan siswa, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih dinamis, dan meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan keagamaan dalam mengembangkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa. Implikasi hasil penelitian bagi guru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dalam merancang dan menyelenggarakan yang menarik dan relevan dengan materi pembelajaran. Bagi sekolah dapat membuat lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Bagi pembuat kebijakan pendidikan dapat mendorong pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung penggunaan pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran.Abstract: The importance of this study lies in addressing the challenges in learning History in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) by introducing an innovative approach. This research highlights the significance of enhancing student engagement in PAI History lessons through the use of an innovative approach via the Pesta Topeng, creating a creative learning environment that fosters active student participation. This study addresses the issue where students experience a lack of active engagement in learning, which can negatively impact their understanding of history and religious values. The research involved implementing the Pesta Topeng as an interactive strategy in PAI History education. The Pesta Topeng was chosen because it can create a creative, enjoyable learning atmosphere and invite active student participation. The study was conducted involving 4 PAI teachers and 100 students from grades XI and XII who were enrolled in the PAI subject as research subjects in a Senior High School. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, interviews, and questionnaire analysis. Data were analyzed using NVivo 12 software. The Pesta Topeng was able to motivate students to participate more actively in the learning process. Survey results indicated that 95% of students were motivated to engage in learning. Additionally, 85% of students showed an increased interest in history and a deeper understanding of religious values, up from previously 53%. This research provides a significant contribution to efforts to enhance the quality of History education in PAI subjects. The Pesta Topeng strategy can be considered an innovative alternative to address the issue of student engagement, creating a more dynamic learning environment, and improving the effectiveness of religious education in developing student understanding and skills. The implications of the research results for teachers can enhance skills in designing and conducting engaging and relevant educational content. For schools, it can create a supportive learning environment that encourages active student participation. For educational policymakers, it can encourage the development of educational policies that support the use of innovative approaches in learning.

Abstract

Akhlak merupakan aspek terpenting yang harus dimiliki manusia guna menjalani kehidupan bersosial. Penanaman akhlak sudah harus dimulai semenjak anak menginjak fase golden age, yaitu di rentang usia 0-9 tahun. Namun, metode dalam penanaman akhlak masih terkesan monoton dan membosankan sehingga akhlak yang terserap oleh anakn tidak maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis gaya bahasa dan metode pengulangan kisah dalam Al-Qur’an serta relevansinya terhadap pendidikan akhlak anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan library research untuk mendapatkan datanya dan deskriptif-analisis sebagai alat analisisnya. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Al-Qur’an dalam menyampaikan kisah menggunakan beragam gaya bahasa sehingga menarik perhatian dan menimbulkan rasa senang ketika mendengarnya, (2) Al-Qur’an menggunakan metode pengulangan dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai dalam kisahnya sehingga nilai tersebut dapat tertanam secara perlahan di benak manusia, dan (3) metode pengulangan dan gaya bahasa dalam Al-Qur’an sangat relevan dengan upaya pendidikan akhlak anak usia dini, yaitu dengan yaitu menggunakan gaya bahasa yang tidak monoton, menggunakan bahasa yang halus, menggunakan bahasa kiasan, menggunakan sindiran yang halus, menggunakan hal yang menarik perhatian, menggunakan bahasa yang indah dan penuh penekanan, menunjukkan sikap rendah diri, dan memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

Tolerance is a serious discussion in Indonesia. Establishing Kampung Toleransi (Tolerance Village) is among the government's efforts to create harmony between religious communities. This research aims to examine the role of mosques in building tolerance in society in an area known as the Village of Tolerance. Data for this research was obtained through in-depth interviews with community members and religious figures involved in religious activities in the Tolerance Village. Analysis was carried out using NVivo12 software to enable collection, organization, and a deeper understanding of this tolerance practice. The results of this research reveal diverse tolerance practices in the religious context of the Village of Tolerance. Social, cultural, and religious factors are essential in shaping tolerance practices. Nonetheless, the village stands out for its ability to encourage interfaith dialogue, cooperation, and respect for differences. The results of this research can provide a deeper view of how society can achieve greater tolerance in religious contexts through interfaith cooperation and dialogue. This research has the potential to make an essential contribution to understanding the practice of tolerance in religiously and culturally diverse societies. ***** Toleransi menjadi pembahasan yang serius di Indonesia. Di antara upaya pemerintah dalam mewujudkan kerukunan antarumat beragama yaitu dengan membentuk Kampung Toleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran masjid dalam membangun toleransi di masyarakat pada sebuah daerah yang dikenal dengan sebutan Kampung Toleransi. Data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan anggota masyarakat dan tokoh agama yang terlibat dalam kegiatan keagamaan di Kampung Toleransi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo12 agar pengumpulan, pengorganisasian, dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang praktik toleransi ini. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap praktik toleransi yang beragam dalam konteks keagamaan di Kampung Toleransi. Faktor-faktor sosial, budaya, dan agama memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk praktik-praktik toleransi. Meskipun demikian, kampung ini menonjol karena kemampuannya dalam mendorong dialog antaragama, kerjasama, dan penghormatan terhadap perbedaan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan pandangan yang lebih dalam tentang bagaimana masyarakat dapat mencapai toleransi yang lebih baik dalam konteks agama melalui kerja sama dan dialog antaragama. Penelitian ini berpotensi memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami praktik toleransi dalam masyarakat yang beragam secara agama dan budaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas Model Pembelajaran SYAM (Synectic-Amtsal) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di tingkat SMP. Model SYAM dirancang dengan mengintegrasikan pendekatan Synectic, yang berfokus pada pengembangan kreativitas dan pemikiran kritis melalui analogi, dengan metode Amtsal, yang menggunakan perumpamaan dalam Al-Qur'an untuk mempermudah pemahaman konsep agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan desain sekuensial eksploratoris, yang melibatkan analisis kualitatif untuk merancang model dan uji kuantitatif untuk mengukur efektivitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model SYAM secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, sebagaimana dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 79,35 pada pretest menjadi 89,41 pada posttest berdasarkan uji paired sample t-test (p < 0,001) dan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test (p < 0,001). Model ini tidak hanya membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik tetapi juga meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan internalisasi nilai-nilai agama secara efektif. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada jumlah sampel dan durasi treatment, sehingga disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan cakupan lebih luas dan durasi yang lebih panjang. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam inovasi model pembelajaran berbasis agama yang interaktif, relevan, dan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to integrate the concept of ta'dib, which emphasizes the formation of manners, morals, and ethics as proposed by Syed Naquib al-Attas, with the 5S program (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Polite, Courteous) in the context of character education at SMK ICB Cinta Niaga. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used to explore the implementation of this program and its impact on student character building. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using NVivo12 software. The results show that ta'dib values in the 5S program can enhance various aspects of students' character development, particularly in improving students' social interactions (such as mutual respect and cooperation among peers), fostering harmonious teacher-student relationships (through enhanced communication and mutual appreciation), and strengthening the habituation of positive behaviors (such as discipline, responsibility, and empathy). Ta'dib values are reflected in simple yet meaningful habits that support holistic character building in accordance with Islamic values. This finding confirms the relevance of ta'dib in modern education to answer the challenges of globalization. However, this study has limitations in the limited scope of the school, so the generalization of the results of this study is a challenge. Further research is recommended to expand the scope of locations and use a mixed-method approach to deepen the analysis and produce more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of empiricism and rationalism and its implications for Islamic Religious Education. Using a qualitative approach and literature study method, it analyzes the perspectives of empiricism and rationalism in the philosophy of science and their relevance to religious teaching. The study reviews classic works of philosophers like John Locke and René Descartes, alongside contemporary literature. Findings reveal that the empirical approach, emphasizing experience through worship and socio-religious activities, enhances students' understanding of religious teachings. Simultaneously, rationalism fosters critical reflection, enabling students to logically analyze and connect religious teachings with contemporary life. Integrating these approaches in the PAI curriculum creates holistic, effective, and practical learning. Theoretically, this supports the development of integrated religious education concepts, while practically, it encourages contextual teaching methods relevant to current challenges. However, the study is limited in its scope of application across diverse school types and does not assess the long-term impact of this integration. Future research should include longitudinal studies to evaluate the effectiveness of this integration in improving students' understanding and application of religious teachings across varied educational contexts. This would further enrich the conceptual and practical framework of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in shaping the akhlak and character of students, especially in the context of Vocational High Schools (SMK) that prepare students for the world of work. However, PAI learning in SMK is often still theoretical and less relevant to industrial needs. This study aims to examine teachers' and students' perceptions of a PAI learning model oriented toward work-readiness at SMK ICB Bandung. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results of a word frequency query using NVivo 12 showed that akhlak aspects were the primary concern in PAI learning, with the highest frequency of occurrence in the interviews. Both teachers and students view akhlak such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and work ethic—as fundamental components of character that directly support readiness to enter the workforce. Learning models applied include Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Discovery Learning, and approaches such as Uswah Hasanah and Ibrah Mauidzah. However, implementation still faces challenges, such as limited teacher experience with industrial contexts, lack of facilities, and overly theoretical teaching methods. Students express a desire for more interactive, practice-oriented, and industry-relevant learning models that integrate Islamic values into work simulations and Islamic soft-skills training. Therefore, innovation is needed to develop a more applicable PAI learning model, including the use of digital technologies and improved teacher competence in understanding the demands of the professional world.

Abstract

Learning models play a vital role in supporting the achievement of learning objectives as conceptual frameworks that describe systematic procedures and guide designers.  This study aims to describe the ARKA Model (Aktivitas, Refleksi, Konseptualisasi, Aplikasi) in PAI learning at SMA Negeri Bandung through learning system theory, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach and case study method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed through the reduction stage. This research found three essential things: (1) planning the use of the ARKA model in PAI learning consists of preparing lesson plans, which include objectives, materials, methods, media, and teaching resources. The curriculum used is the 2013 national curriculum. (2) The implementation of PAI learning using the ARKA model consists of four stages adapted to the syntax of this ARKA model: Activity, Reflection, Conceptualization, and Application. These four steps have been included in the core activities. (3) The evaluation of PAI learning using the ARKA model is divided into formative and summative evaluation. The evaluation results of the ARKA learning model in PAI learning positively impact students in improving their ability to think critically, communicate well, collaborate, and be creative.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mother's role in child custody after divorce from the perspective of tarbawi hadith, focusing on integrating Islamic educational values. A qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods and taḥlīlī analysis techniques was employed. Data were collected through library research utilizing primary and secondary sources from classical and contemporary Islamic literature. The research procedure included theme selection, hadith selection, takhrij analysis, and interpretation of educational values. The findings highlight that tarbawi hadith legitimizes maternal priority in custody as long as moral and spiritual criteria are met, with profound educational implications. Mothers, as the first educators, play a strategic role in ensuring emotional stability, supporting psychological development, and internalizing children's spiritual values. These findings significantly contribute to the Islamic educational perspective on child-rearing, particularly post-divorce.
