Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh level pupuk nitrogen terhadap kandungan nutrien Bahan Kering (BK), Bahan Organik (BO) dan Protein Kasar (PK) pada hidroponik fodder jagung (Zea mays). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Lapang Program Studi Peternakan, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan dan Sains, Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri. Analisa kandungan BK, BO dan PK dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pakan Ternak Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Peternakan Kabupaten Kediri. Metode penelitian yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan utama berupa level pemberian pupuk nitrogen yang berbeda yaitu konsentrasi P0 (0 ml/l), P1 (0,8 ml/l), P2 (1,6 ml/l), P3 (2,4 ml/l). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa level pemebrian pupuk nitrogen yang berbeda tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kandungan BK, BO dan PK pada hidroponik fodder jagung (Zea Mays). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa penambahan level pupuk nitrogen yang berbeda antar perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kandungan nutrien BK, BO dan PK.

Abstract

This research is motivated by livestock development which is carried out to increase livestock production and productivity, as well as provide economic and social benefits to local communities. The livestock industry plays an important role in providing food and nutrition, especially in meeting the population's need for animal protein. The aim of this research is to find out what internal and external factors influence the development of egg-laying quail businesses in Tawangrejo Village, Binangun District, Blitar Regency and appropriate development strategies for egg-laying quail businesses in Tawangrejo Village, Binangun District, Blitar Regency. This research was conducted in the Manunggal quail livestock group in Tawangrejo Village, Binangun District, Blitar Regency. The method used is distributing questionnaires to obtain information and conducting observations and interviews to carry out further analysis related to business feasibility analysis and appropriate development strategies to be carried out. The conclusion of the results of this research is that the Manunggal quail livestock group breeder's business can be informed by each breeder while running the business that the business is worth running because it gets an R/C Ratio value of more than 1 and a B/C Ratio of more than 0, apart from that for every farm that is part of the group. The Manunggal quail livestock group obtains a break-even point value at different price BEP and unit BEP because it is influenced by the number of different fixed costs and variable costs and the number of livestock being reared. And based on the IFE and EFE matrix calculations in the Manunggal quail livestock group, the IFE matrix score was 3.14 and the EFE matrix was 3.22. Recommended; Based on the SWOT analysis of the Manunggal quail farming group, several strategies were found, namely improving the quality of quail egg products with a good grade, maintaining and continuing to improve infrastructure, facilities and infrastructure for business development, monitoring and continuing to improve the system in laying quail farms to meet the need for quail eggs. in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh berbagai jenis pupuk organik terhadap profil pertumbuhan dan kandungan nutrisi rumput odot (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan lima ulangan, yaitu P0 (tanpa pupuk), P1 (pupuk organik padat/POP), P2 (pupuk organik cair/POC), P3 (kombinasi POP dan POC), dan P4 (pupuk urea). Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati meliputi jumlah tunas, panjang tunas, jumlah daun, bobot kering, dan bobot segar, sedangkan kandungan nutrisi meliputi bahan kering (BK), protein kasar (PK), serat kasar (SK), lemak kasar (LK), dan abu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pupuk organik secara signifikan meningkatkan pertumbuhan rumput odot. Perlakuan P1 meningkatkan jumlah daun, bobot kering, bobot segar, dan kandungan PK; P2 meningkatkan jumlah tunas dan LK; P3 meningkatkan panjang tunas; P4 meningkatkan SK; sedangkan P0 menghasilkan kandungan BK dan abu tertinggi. Pupuk organik padat direkomendasikan untuk budidaya rumput odot guna memperoleh hasil optimal.
