Abstract

Anxiety is an early symptom of students, which can have a negative impact on student achievement and learning outcomes. If the condition of anxiety is not treated, it can affect reducing immunity, depression, and reducing the quality of education. One approach that can be used is the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) method. Objective: To determine the effect of NLP techniques in reducing student anxiety during clinical practice. Method: Quantitative research using the Quasi-Experimental method using pre-test and post-test without control. This research used a total sampling of 33 students. Results: There was an effect of NLP therapy on students' anxiety levels while participating in Midwifery Clinical Practice with a p-value of 0.00 < 0.05.

Abstract

Livestock population in Indonesia is one of the key indicators supporting national food security, particularly in meeting the demand for animal-based protein. However, the suboptimal utilization of livestock population data for strategic planning remains a challenge in the livestock sector. This study aims to predict livestock population in Indonesia using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method, a variant of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) designed for time series data analysis. The livestock population data used in this research was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the period of 2006 to 2022. The LSTM model was trained using 80% of the data for training and 20% for testing, with evaluation conducted using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The results indicate that the LSTM model can forecast the national livestock population up to 2033 with good accuracy, particularly for livestock such as goats (MAPE 5.47%) and beef cattle (MAPE 5.64%). However, a higher error rate was observed for buffalo (MAPE 16.57%). The predictions indicate a significant growth trend in poultry populations, such as broiler chickens and laying hens. In conclusion, this model can support data-driven decision-making to ensure stable and sustainable animal protein availability, thereby strengthening national food security.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance understanding of water pollution through the use of histology preparations as educational tools for the sub-topic of water pollution in Grade X high school or equivalent. The research employs a descriptive method with a skinative approach. Water pollution is defined as the introduction of organisms, substances, energy, and/or other components into water due to human activities, resulting in a decline in water quality that affects its intended function. Histology preparations serve as a medium to assess the condition of organisms' tissues in rivers. Histology is essential for studying the normal tissue structure of organs or other body parts, addressing both anatomical and physiological aspects. Under a microscope, tissue preparations allow for the study of normal and abnormal tissue structures. Quality preparations must meet two criteria: identification, from organ collection through to observation, requiring expert handling; and cleanliness, assessed by the absence of air bubbles and the overall cleanliness of the preparation.

Abstract

Ongole crossbreed cattle (OCC) is a type of local cattle in Indonesia. Exploration of the main products of local livestock, especially by product, of local Indonesian cattle has never been carried out. The important potential of the by-product is to combat protein malnutrition and food insecurity in many countries. The aim of the study was to explore the proximate composition. The research was carried out using the exploratory laboratory method by taking objects in the field and then analyzing them in the laboratory. Samples were taken from the Animal Slaughterhouse of Lamongan district which originated from 8 Farmers. The variables observed were proximate includes water content, protein, carbohydrate, fat and ash. The proximate composition was dominated by water and protein content with the highest average value obtained from the red offal species. Differences in proximate composition also occur between male OCC and female OCC.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana lama perendaman dalam ekstrak bawang putih memengaruhi kualitas internal telur. Kualitas intrinsik telur menjadi perhatian penting karena mempengaruhi nilai gizi dan fungsionalitasnya. Bawang putih (Allium sativum) diketahui memiliki senyawa aktif yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas telur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 7 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan untuk berbagai lama perendaman dalam ekstrak bawang putih. Analisis data kualitas intrinsik telur, yang meliputi persentase penyusutan bobot telur, HU telur, IPT, dan IKT, dilakukan dengan menggunakan ANOVA satu arah dan uji lanjut Duncan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman telur dalam ekstrak bawang putih selama 25 menit secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas internal telur. Peningkatan ini diduga terkait dengan aktivitas senyawa aktif dalam bawang putih yang memengaruhi komposisi telur. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ekstrak bawang putih berpotensi menjadi larutan perendam alami untuk meningkatkan kualitas telur dengan perendaman selama 25 menit dan penyimpanan pada suhu ruang selama 12 hari. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan produk telur yang lebih berkualitas dan bernilai gizi tinggi.   Kata kunci: Bawang putih, Ekstrak bawang putih, Kualitas intrinsik, Lama perendaman, Telur

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Virtual Reality (VR)-based composting learning module to foster environmental awareness among elementary school students and overcome the limitations of conventional learning, which is theoretical in nature. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects are fifth-grade students at SDIT Wildan Mukholladun. Validation results indicate that the developed module is highly suitable for use, with a percentage of 97.65%, meaning the media can be used without revision. The module is considered practical by both teachers and students and easy to use in learning activities, with an average percentage of 80% for both groups. Effectiveness testing through comparison of pretest and posttest scores shows an improvement in students' understanding, with effectiveness ratings in the moderate category. This was determined based on the N-Gain Score calculation, which showed a value of 0.303 for the small class and 0.301 for the large class. The module was deemed capable of providing an immersive and contextual learning experience, as well as supporting the cultivation of an environmentally conscious attitude among elementary school students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan profil penyelesaian soal persamaan trigonometri siswa SMA kelas XI ditinjau dari kemampuan matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa kelas XI, yaitu: 1 siswa berkemampuan matematika tinggi, 1 siswa berkemampuan matematika sedang, dan 1 siswa berkemampuan matematika rendah. Instrumen pendukung yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri dari: 1. Tes kemampuan matematika untuk pemilihan subjek; 2. Tes menyelesaikan soal; 3. Wawancara yang diajukan pada masing-masing kategori siswa untuk mengetahui keabsahan dari jawaban yang telah dikerjakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: profil penyelesaian soal persamaan trigonometri siswa SMA kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu ditinjau dari kemampuan matematikanya, siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan memenuhi semua indikator secara keseluruhan, siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika sedang belum mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan memenuhi semua indikator secara keseluruhan (siswa berkemampuan matematika sedang mampu memenuhi 5 indikator saja), siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika rendah tidak mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan memenuhi semua indikator secara keseluruhan. The purpose of this study was to describe the profile of problem-solving in trigonometry equations of high school students of class XI-based mathematics ability. This type of research is qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu. The subjects of this study are 3 students of class XI, namely: a student with high mathematics ability, a student with moderate mathematics ability, and a student with low mathematics ability. The main instrument is the researchers and the supporting instruments used in the study consist of: 1. Mathematics ability test; 2. solving problem test; 3. Interview guideline. The results showed that the profile of problem-solving trigonometry equations of high school students of class XI in SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu viewed from the mathematical ability, a student who has high mathematics ability to solve the problem by fulfilling all the indicators as a whole, students who has moderate mathematics ability is not yet able to solve the problem by meeting all indicators overall (math-capable students can meet only 5 indicators), student who has low mathematics ability is not able to solve the problem by meeting all indicators overall.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis proses berpikir peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 2 peserta didik terdiri dari 1 peserta didik laki-laki dan 1 peserta didik perempuan yang berusia 15 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal literasi matematis dan pedoman wawancara untuk mendukung kegiatan think aloud. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis proses berpikir kedua subjek penelitian termasuk proses berpikir konseptual. Subjek penelitian menyatakan aspek dalam soal menggunakan bahasa mereka sendiri atau mengubah ke dalam bentuk kalimat matematika, menyatakan aspek yang ditanya di dalam soal menggunakan bahasa sendiri atau mengubah ke dalam kalimat matematika, menyusun rencana penyelesaian, menuliskan langkah dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan mampu memperbaiki kekeliruan jawaban. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang besar antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis. This study aims to describe the types of students' thought processes in solving mathematical literacy problems based on gender. This research was conducted in class X. The subjects of this study were 2 students consisting of 1 male student and 1 female student who was 15 years old. The study was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. The instrument used was a matter of mathematical literacy and interview guidelines to support think-aloud activities. The results showed that the types of thought processes of the two research subjects included conceptual thinking processes. Research subjects stated aspects of the problem using their language or changing it into mathematical sentences, stated aspects that were asked in the problem using their language or changed it into mathematical sentences, compiled a plan of completion, wrote the steps in solving the problem, and were able to correct the wrong answers. From the results of the study, it was found that there were no significant differences between men and women in solving mathematical literacy problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII terhadap materi peluang melalui penerapan video pembelajaran. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP PGRI I Donomulyo sebanyak 15 siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan observasi dan tes. Observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru. Tes terbagi menjadi tes awal dan tes akhir siklus. Tes awal diberikan sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Tes akhir siklus diberikan setelah proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan video pembelajaran. Tes bertujuan untuk mengamati peningkatan skill berpikir kritis siswa. Indikator skill berpikir kritis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi: kemampuan memahami petunjuk/menganalisis pertanyaan, kemampuan merumuskan masalah atau pertanyaan (memfokuskan pertanyaan), kemampuan mengidentifikasi asumsi/menentukan konsep pemecahan, kemampuan menerapkan konsep/prosedur (operasi hitung) dan memberikan alasan masalah, serta kemampuan membuat kesimpulan. Video pembelajaran berfungsi sebagai stimulan untuk membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan secara klasikal skill berpikir kritis siswa berturut-turut 5,19% pada tes awal, 6,26 pada tes akhir siklus I, dan 9,32% pada tes akhir siklus II.

Abstract

Usaha peternakan ayam petelur di Kabupaten Blitar, khususnya Desa Ponggok, Kecamatan Ponggok, merupakan sentra produksi telur nasional yang krusial bagi ketahanan pangan. Namun, tingginya harga pakan komersial menjadi tantangan utama yang secara signifikan menekan profitabilitas peternak rakyat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi secara komprehensif penampilan produksi dan kualitas telur ayam layer yang mengadopsi pakan selfmix, yaitu praktik pencampuran pakan sendiri, sebagai strategi peternak menekan biaya produksi dan menjamin keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan peternak di Desa Ponggok. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Secara sosial ekonomi, peternak di lokasi studi memiliki rata-rata umur 51–60 tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan rata-rata Sekolah Dasar (SD). Mereka umumnya memelihara layer strain Malindo dengan populasi antara 2.000 hingga 3.000 ekor. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pakan selfmix memberikan penampilan produksi yang memadai: rata-rata konsumsi pakan harian mencapai 120 gram per ekor. Tingkat produksi telur harian (Hen Day Production - HDP) berada pada angka 85%. Namun, pakan selfmix ini tampak memengaruhi kualitas fisik telur; warna cangkang telur sebagian besar (28%) berwarna cokelat, dan tekstur cangkang 91% termasuk mutu 3, yang berarti sedikit kasar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pakan selfmix berhasil mempertahankan produktivitas yang tinggi (HDP), tetapi peternak perlu melakukan penyesuaian formulasi untuk memperbaiki kualitas dan konsistensi fisik cangkang telur.   Kata kunci: selfmix, konsumsi pakan, hen day production, tekstur cangkang, warna cangkang
