Abstract

Teacher professional and career development plays an important role in improving the quality of education. Teachers who have good professional and career skills can make a more significant contribution to the teaching and learning process and improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, teacher professional and career development must be the main focus in efforts to improve the quality of education. In the history of teacher professional and career development, it can be seen that efforts to improve the quality of education through developing teacher professionalism have been going on for a long time. This development is carried out through various programs and efforts, and the aim is to improve teacher competence and performance in the context of implementing the education and learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom. The teaching profession is a process that aims to develop teachers' professional abilities by adapting to educational demands. There are several basics in teacher professional development, including philosophical and pedagogical bases. Apart from that, teacher professional development must also be adjusted to the principles that have been established. Teacher professional and career development can be implemented through various programs. Both programs hosted by school institutions or teacher professional and career development programs launched by the government. With this teacher professional and career development program, it is hoped that teachers can actively participate in improving their respective competencies and skills.

Abstract

English is an international language used by many foreign countries. In Indonesia, there is very little interest in the use of English because many people, especially students, are reluctant to learn English. To be able to learn English, you need to know the basics to make it easier to understand the lesson in question. Tenses are an example of the basic forms of learning in English. Through tenses, we can differentiate sentence forms by adjusting the time specified. The use of tenses also adapts to the time when used in conversation. By understanding tenses as the basis for mastering English, it will make it easier to communicate with foreign citizens, make it easier to get information related to education in English so that the insight we gain does not only come from our own country's language but we have insight from abroad. Very few people really understand mastery in learning tenses. This is because the delivery of the material is less interesting, so students are also reluctant to express their interest in English. For this reason, we gathered several students to find out the extent of their understanding of tenses. Having a discussion will make your peers understand more about learning that is not understood in class. Through peers it is possible to gain more efficient understanding

Abstract

The competence of educators is one of the major factors in determining the quality of education in an institution. Quality educator personnel not only master the subject matter but also possess pedagogical competencies that can support the learning process. This is listed in Law no. 14 Year 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers that teachers are professional educators who have the primary task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating learners. The study aimed to analyze the pedagogical competencies of an educator in carrying out his/her duties and responsibilities in schools. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews with a teacher. The results of the study show that the diverse characteristics of students demand teachers to be able to understand them where it is necessary in designing suitable lesson strategies. Teachers adapt methods, media, and forms of assessment to suit students diverse learning styles. Challenges faced by teachers in the learning process such as character differences, social media, and time constraints can be overcome with a professional approach. Within the learning process lie strategies that are not only in delivering the material, but also in shaping students character and social skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendapat stakeholder tentang pelayanan administrasi dan manajemen perkantoran di UPT SMPN 27 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Di antara responden adalah kepala sekolah, staf tata usaha, guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah ini memiliki kemampuan manajemen perkantoran yang baik, terutama dalam hal mengelola dokumen, informasi, dan karyawan. Tapi masih ada masalah, seperti kekurangan tenaga kerja dan fasilitas teknologi yang buruk. Dari sudut pandang stakeholder, layanan administrasi cukup responsif, tetapi informasi harus diberikan lebih cepat dan tepat. Mereka juga menekankan betapa pentingnya pelatihan staf administrasi dan digitalisasi sistem. Menurut penelitian ini, pelayanan administrasi profesional memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan stakeholder dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sumber daya manusia, sistem berbasis TI, dan komunikasi yang lebih baik dengan stakeholder.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana kurikulum “Merdeka Belajar” diimplementasikan di sekolah-sekolah luar biasa pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Studi kasus dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif adalah teknik penelitian yang digunakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan analisis dokumen di sekolah-sekolah dasar yang telah berhasil mengadopsi kurikulum “Merdeka Belajar”, serta wawancara mendalam dengan salah satu guru kelas 5 SD. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum “Merdeka Belajar” diimplementasikan di sekolah-sekolah dasar unggulan melalui beberapa strategi utama, termasuk: (1) mengembangkan kurikulum yang fleksibel dan berpusat pada siswa; (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif yang mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa; (3) Peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan; (4) memperkuat hubungan dengan masyarakat dan orang tua; dan (5) menyediakan infrastruktur dan fasilitas yang memfasilitasi pembelajaran. Elemen-elemen pendukung untuk implementasi yang efektif termasuk kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah yang positif, dan dukungan kebijakan pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi konsep lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Sebagian orang sekarang sering menganggap lingkungan pendidikan tidak penting. Namun, lingkungan pendidikan yang baik, termasuk pendidikan Islam, dapat berkontribusi pada pembentukan atau pembangunan karakter siswa yang baik. Dalam Islam, lingkungan pendidikan meliputi keluarga, masyarakat, dan sekolah. Ketiganya adalah kesatuan yang sangat penting bagi pendidikan. Tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan pendidikan yang baik dalam keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat dapat melindungi siswa dari perilaku negatif.
